Chapter 10
"Hey, Luce...uhh, I can call you Luce right?"
"Yes Master." She nodded.
"Just call me Natsu when we're by ourselves."
"I had a weird dream last night." I started.
"Me too." She added.
"I was about 6 years old, and with a blonde girl-" I was interrupted.
"And we were leaving the castle gates at night?" She asked.
"Y-yes." I replied, astonished.
That's really strange.

(Lucy's POV)
"I had a weird dream last night." He started.
"Me too." I added.
"I was about 6 years old, and with a blonde girl-" I interrupted him.
"And we were leaving the castle gates at night?" I asked.
"Y-yes." He replied, astonished.
That's really strange. He had the same dream as me. The dream almost felt like a memory.
"Now that I've looked at you properly, you look an awful lot like that blonde girl in my dream." Natsu pondered.
"And you look like the pink-haired boy." I added.
"Hey! It's salmon!" He huffed, pointing to his hair. I only giggled.
I wasn't falling for him, was I?
How could I? He bought me, I'm like his slave.
(Natsu's POV)
"Luce? Luce!? Where are you!?" I cried. I looked around, but I couldn't see her.
"NATSU!" I heard her cry. I turned around and saw her being carried away by someone. I saw his face; a scary grin plastered on it, and it was filled with scars and bruises.
"Luce!" I ran after her, but I felt myself being pulled back by my dad's guards. I couldn't do anything. I stood there, watching as my Luce was taken away from me. I saw her face, tears dripping down it. We'd promised to be together forever, and now she's gone.
It's all my fault. I should of listened to her.
I got home and faced my mother.
"Natsu, why did you go out at night?" She asked scornfully.
"I-I don't know." I mumbled.
"Didn't I warn you not to?" She was walking over to the fire.
"Yes, you did." I replied.
"But you disobeyed me anyway?" She gestured for me to go over, so I did so.
"I'm sorry mother."
"Sorry isn't going to be enough, son. Lucy, your bride, is gone. You think a simple sorry is going to be okay!?" She picked up the poker and my eyes widened.
I felt the scolding heat of the poker touch my flesh. The unbearable pain that shot through my back.
I awoke with a start, panting and sweating heavily. That scar on my back, it's still there today. Why am I having that nightmare now?
Is my strange dream actually real?
I do remember a girl when I was young, but she left.
I looked over to my left to see Lucy lying beside me, tears slowly falling down her face.
"Luce, are you okay?" I shook her gently and she opened her chocolate brown eyes.
Then I saw it.
Those eyes. The tears. The beautiful, blonde hair flowing around her face and shoulders.
This.....
This was my Luce.
