For my eighth birthday, I got an IlluStory kit. Do these even exist anymore? You would write and illustrate a story on the paper provided, send it back to the company, and they would mail it back to you in book form.

Before this point, I had never written a story. I had only talked about writing stories.

Ta-da.

The "quality" binding almost immediately broke.

But enough introduction. Let's read this thing.

All I can say is that clearly my mom had a little input because my spelling and grammar never would have been that perfect.
