Alex's POV

I wake up on the couch in our front room (it had broken litrarlly the night before) I hopped off the couch, gathered my books i was reading last night. We were going on a field trip to our local community college . Honestly, I was just excited 'cuz I got to hang with Skylar. I mean, the only reason I'm not doing camp full time is because, she only goes in the summer. I spare you the boring, waiting-in-a-classroom-for-like-ever-time. We were loading the buses, I see Skylar around 3 seats away from the front seat, she's waving me down. However I was a bit dissapointed to see she was already sitting with some girl named Kylee. But I hear a teacher say, "three to a seat" I nearly hit the celing from how high I jumped from excitement. I did get to sit next to her! I make it over, and say in a super bad British accent, "Is this seat resuuurved?'' She laugh, bops me on the head lightly, and scoots over. I sit in the middle, our arms are touching. I feel my body temperature climb. It was pretty awkward, I told her a bit about a current fan fic I was reading. But it was mostly silent. The other girl was looking all around, but at us. It was kinda weird. 

We both laughed a bit, about how close we were to home. When we passed the library (which was conveniently across from the college) We both squealed, and ask why we couldn't go there. 

We go into this huge auditorium. file in with our classes. I didn't have any demigod friends, but I was in a group with some pretty okay mortals, I mean, they like Twenty one pilots, Imagine Dragons, and Panic! a the disco so... (When do I get to meet them?) The tour was pretty boring, I mean there was a super cool student lounge called "the devil den" because their mascot is the red devils. There was a student in there drinking a gallon sized bottle reading a book, and I said to my Science teacher, (she was the group leader) and I said, 'that's me in college.' We went into the library, I nearly hyperventilated. IT. was. two. stories. with vending machines, with studies, computers, desk. Gods, I was in Eyslim. The gym was also pretty cool, it had a rock wall to the ceiling. Other than that, it was like super boting.  Before I knew it I was back on the bus, and luckily sitting next to just Skylar. We exchanged our stories of our trips. Then lunch. (yum, I ate like five chips) A couple more boring classes. And I'm walking to the buses alongside Skylar. 

I tell her, "have a good weekend, don't maim your brother's when they get too annoying."

She groans, and gets on her bus, and I yell after her, "don't miss me too much!" But I don't think she heard me..

And I ride the bus in awkward silence, I open up the book I'm currently reading, The hunger Games, for the fifth time. I started to feel  a bit car-sick, or bus sick, whatever. So, I finish the page and put in back into my backpack. At that time I was about ready to just shadow travel straight to CHB. But you know, Will'll murder me for using my powers, and he'll just heal me with his own. (the Hippocrate) But I know my family will be a bit worried. though, I mean its not like I go anywhere besides camp. So, I go home, and answer some Emails, not keeping in mind the possibility of monsters tracking me down. That's when a wave of panic washes over me, how am I gonna get home if I can't shadow travel?! I mean, its not like I have a puppy hellhound on hand...I knew I should have adopted one of Mrs. Oleary's pups...I mean, I could wait around for Neeks to show up when he freaks out and plays the freaked-out-big-brother-role. But that's going to take forever. 

I mess around a bit in my bedroom waiting for a child of Hades, and quite possibly a freaked out Will Solace. I opened up The red pyramid I roll my eyes but pick it up. The only reason I'm reading it was because Skylar asked me to. I pick it up. and put it back down.  And run off to do something else. What can I say, I'm an impulsive ADHD demigod?

It was around 5pm when Nico finally shows up.
'"bout time." I say, sarcasm thick in my tone. He kinda glares at me, but it seems half-hearted. Like he was distracted. "What's wrong Neeks?" I ask, pure empathy in my voice now. "The hunters have returned." He said those words as if you'd say, the world will end in five seconds. I knew the hunters, and if they were coming, that'd mean I get to see Riley! I hadn't seen her in forever I gab my bag, sling it over my shoulder, Nico grabs my hand, almost protectively. I open my eyes in the dark surroundings of cabin 13. Nikki had her nose in a book, but Will was nowhere to be seen. Strange.

"Where's Will?" I ask Nikki, when she ignores me I walk over to her bed, and notice, she's wherein' headphones, I yank them off her head, "where's WILL!?" I shout, "at the pavilion, gods, you don't need to yell....'' I roll my eyes, and run off to the pavilion. And I run into Will, literally, he had, what I'm guessing were the magical plates and cups, that fill up with anything you want. He looked a bit on edge too.

"Hunters." He says between gasps.
"So...?"
"N-Nico. Worried. Lose-another, sister."
''W-what? They want to recruit Nikki and I?'' He nods, confirming my worst fear.

Yup, time to bash some heads.
