As soon as the humans saw them approaching they immediately all began staring in surprise, some began recording and taking pictures. Onibi seemed happy to be able to show Kyuubi how popular he was with humans. Even though it was more of them finding it amazing to see yokais. It was just natural reactions.

He would of told him as much but he didn't want to ruin his fun.

Unfortunately, that ended up happening one way or another. When the humans saw Kyuubi, they began taking pictures of him instead. Some human girls claimed he looked cute. It was much rarer to see a nine-tailed fox than an flame and weasel, which weren't uncommon if you looked in the right places. 

He didn't have any interest for the humans so he just looked at them with a blank expression. Though he doubted they noticed his uninterest as they continue talking about how cute he was and how rare it was for a nine-tailed fox to be there.

Looking over to Onibi he noticed that he seemed upset. Was it because the attention was turned to him instead of the flame?

Walking over to the small flame, he nudged him as a way to cheer him up.

"Shall we go home?" he asked quietly.

"...Yeah.."

With that the three took off, leaving the humans disappointed. But they carried on with their days just a minute after they left.

The whole way back Onibi looked upset. It worried the kitsune to see him like this. Once they got home he'd ask him what was wrong.

"Onibi. What's wrong? Please tell me so we can talk this through"

"...Nothing is wrong. I'm fine.." Onibi replied.

He refused to look the kitsune in the eye and say that. Which just confirmed something was wrong. He just had to convince Onibi to open up and tell him about it.

"Is it about the humans paying more attention to me?"

"..Yeah..it's just weird not being the one to draw their attention. They don't even react like that to me like they did with you...."

"I don't care for humans or their attention. You're probably much more popular with them still than I am"

"You think so?"

Kyuubi chuckled and hugged his small flame, "Of course. But really, why care about what humans think? It's those who are close that you should worry about impressing"

"Right!" Onibi smiled, grabbing Kyuubi's tails and hugging them. He always loved holding his tails, they were so soft. 

Normally Kyuubi would be annoyed at having his tails get messy, but since it's Onibi, he didn't mind too much. He could always groom his tails again, or have Onibi do so. The younger boy didn't mind doing it since it let him hold his tails more. 

"Will you join us again Kyuubi?" 

"Maybe. But I'd like to focus on my business for now. But if you'd like me to go to the human world again, just ask" he smiled, nuzzling him.

It wasn't a bad day aside from accidentally making Onibi upset and jealous of his new popularity with the humans. But really now, he'd rather let Onibi bask in the spotlight instead. Though it was cute seeing him jealous. 

"You're so cute in so many ways Onibi" Kyuubi said.

"Ehh? How can you say that with a straight face?"

"Because it's true, anyways, come with me" the kitsune said, pulling him out of the house again.

They made their way into the forest, in the direction of the Spirit Realm. He wondered where Kyuubi was taking him. The two didn't go to far into the forest before stopping and hiding behind a tree. Curiously, Onibi peaked out to see two people talking.

It was Mizuchi and Hanabusa.

Had Kyuubi really wanted to spy on them? He couldn't hear anything they were saying but it looked they they were just talking. To be honest, he expected to see them flirting or something couples would do. Nope, just a completely normal conversation.

"Really now, you two are such a dull couple" Kyuubi spoke up.

He hadn't noticed the kitsune had walked out from behind their hiding spot. The two had immediately looked over to see them. Mizuchi seemed confused while Hanabusa didn't seem happy they had been spying on them. The fire spirit hid behind the kitsune.

"Why the hell were you easedropping on us?!" Hanabusa exclaimed.

"Hmph, I don't need to explain myself to you. But really now, you two aren't romantic at all"

"Ahah..we try to keep all the romantic stuff until we're alone" Mizuchi replied. "Besides, we haven't been together for that long"

"Why do you care what we do?"

The kitsune chuckled, "I don't. It's just boring seeing you two not acting like a romantic couple"

Hanabusa had walked over and pinched his cheeks, clearly annoyed. That didn't sit well with Onibi who quickly got between them. He said nothing but glare at the Katanashu. Even if he didn't hurt Kyuubi, he didn't like people doing things like that to the kitsune. Though Kyuubi didn't seem bothered by it in the slightest.

"Why don't we talk about things instead of resulting to actions like this" Mizuchi suggested.
