Next week, Kekoa was back in Washington DC and back at NCIS Headquarters. She was keeping herself busy with finishing paperwork in her office. She sometimes emails or texts or calls her brother during her free time. She truly enjoys having her brother back in life and sometimes she gets updates on the search for information about their two aunts.

One morning, Kekoa was done with finishing paperwork for the next couple of months to let her look at the news stories about Five-O Task Force rescue chiefs and she was so glad that her brother was okay. Kekoa looks up from her computer after seeing Ellie and Young women walking into her office.

"Hey Kekoa, I want you to meet Ziva David and she has heard about you babysitting her daughter when you were living in Philadelphia with your adoptive family. I should go back to the squadroom to get back to the case." Ellie said to Kekoa.
Ellie walked out of Kekoa's office to let Ziva be alone with Kekoa. Ziva sat down on a chair next to Kekoa's desk and she looked at her.

"Kekoa, I heard a lot about you from Ellie and I want to thank you for babysitting my daughter. I've been working with NCIS for years and then just go away for another couple of years. Now I'm back to help my team and I would help you because you're a new member in my team. Could you tell me about your past?" Ziva said to Kekoa. Kekoa looks at her computer and looks up at Ziva.

"I was born in Puna on the Big Island of Hawaii and a few years later my parents died from sickness and few people died in the tribe. My older brother sent me to live with my two aunts without knowing he was tricked by them and they let me do anything on their land to not to leave the manor. One week before my 15 birthday, my aunts planned to get me into an arranged marriage to a warrior in their small tribe that I didn't really want to live that life. I secretly left the big island for Philadelphia before being caught by NCIS and I was brought to one of the orphanages in Philadelphia. I was adopted by a small family after living at the orphanage for a year.They have love and care about me, like I've been dreaming since my parents died. Then I told them my secret and they welcomed me into their family. The two girls who let me be their youngest sister. They were the very best and supporting sisters. I started high school and everyone helps me with what I'm doing today. I'm so glad to have this path and where I am today." Kekoa told Ziva.
Ziva starts to remember reading flies about a young Hawaiian girl being found in the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was barely a new NCIS field agent after a couple of months of being in NCIS. She was hearing about it from other field agents who came back from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where they started writing the files. She looked at Kekoa while she noticed she recently came back to Hawaii from her necklace.

"Kekoa, I know it's hard to keep secrets and you should trust your team. I let Ellie do more research about your parents history and anything about them. Thank you for telling me about your past and I hope one day we meet again." Ziva said to Kekoa.
Kekoa was glad to have new allies with Ziva David and Ziva got up from the chair to walk out of Kekoa's office. Kekoa returned to finish other paperwork for the next couple of months to get on the field. She did her research on her birth parents who were protective of you for remembering her mother kept her close.

Later that evening, Kekoa was done with finishing paperwork in her office and she walked out of her office into the hallway after cleaning up her office. She walked out into the squadroom towards the elevator. She turned her head around and saw Gibbs walking towards her.

"Kekoa, I heard you went to Hawaii to find your brother and came back to finish your paperwork. I'm very surprised and proud that you know your skills. I heard from Ellie that you were reunited with your brother who was rescued by the Five-O Task Force. You should know family is first to anything before work. Now go home and get some rest for tomorrow." Gibbs said to Kayla.
Kekoa smiles at Gibbs and looks at him to remind me of her father who has cared about her and her brother.

"Thank you Gibbs. I knew this would be a great future for me and someday to visit my mother's family when the time is right. I do my very best to help our team in any way and I followed your rules." Kekoa said to Gibbs.
Kekoa walked into the elevator and returned to her apartment after a long day of work. She made herself a small dinner and she looked through her photo albums after eating her dinner to finally know more about her parents. She started having another deep feeling about her future. She always trusts herself when she has deep feelings for knowing it might come true or not. Kekoa grabbed her photo albums and walked into her bedroom to put her photo albums back in her bookshelf. She got ready for bed in her bathroom and got into her bed to fall asleep.
