Alots happened... I got a slave seal on my Grimmy, kissed Damien and made a spirit contract with him, finished my project, spread info about the king and church colluding against the shield hero (anonymously of course).

spread rumors about the womanizing spear cursing a famines village with monster plants only for the shield hero to not only clean up his mess, but solved the famine problem properly as well(again, anonymously).

I spread rumors about the sword hero causing a plague by killing a dragon emperor, whose only crime was nesting near a village, and leaving the corpse to rot. Only for it to leak a lethal miasma causing said plague and it being resurrected due to the miasmas strength, only for the shield hero to put it down and dispose of the corpse properly. He even made high quality medicine for the plague victims who got better in a few days.

I spread word of how the bow hero ursurped a nobleman town cause the taxes were too high. But I also added that the reason they were high was because of the waves and now the new nobleman was taxing even HIGHER taxes and not even for the sake of the village.

I also spread word of lute villages plight. How the Royal Guards burned down the town during the waves trying to kill the shield hero and at the same time nearly killed civilians. And how the princess and her boy toy the spear hero tried to tax the village of lute 1 gold piece for entry and exit(A/N it was 1 gold piece right?) But the shield hero dueled the spear again, the princess cheated again, but the shield won out again, not just because of skill but also because the princess likes to cheat cause that's what nobles do when they're about to lose.

I also made a point to spread news about naofumi's first day here and the rape accusation. It included pictures of mynes behaviors throughout the day and at the trial. And it aaaaall came in a nice little newspaper left on every housholds and establishments doorstep throughout every kingdom. Needless to say it caused a huuuuge uproar.

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. How did I do it? Lots of paper and mana, the help of wind spirits, staffy, Sheri, and Umbra. I called the newspaper: "Heroes Activities Archived Daily." Or H.A.A.D. for short. Under the title of the paper it says "sponsored by The Queen🤑" it's not incorrect. I DID get a sponsor deal from her. She said it wasn't a great idea, but I convinced her of it. How? Well, first I started by saying that it would be good for multiple reasons. It would keep every kingdom up to date on what's going on with the heroes, and she would get the first copy when it's distributed. So while she's eating breakfast she can read the special paper and only need to ask the shadows for more info so they can focus on other things, like repairing relations with the other kingdoms.

It would also help dispel the illusions on how the heroes do things and increase naofumi's reputation while making the other heroes question whether they're actually doing good. "Besides wouldn't this make things more interesting? And this way I can spread life improvement information more easily. Yknow like, agricultural tips, recipes, easy training tips and tricks, how to help protect yourself from the waves and village fortification..." aaaaand that's how that happened!

Right now it's like an hour before the wave- well more like 50 minutes now since I've just been sitting here drinking and eating and watching the other heroes read the news. Malty's reaction in particular was.... "who the hell wrote this slanderous bullshit?! I'll have them executed!" She screams as she stamps about the room. Motoyasu is trying to calm her down, Ren is talking to his party about the paper, itsuki is looking distraught while his party prattles on about justice, Raphtalia is reading looking super happy and proud with the papers contents, and naofumi has a look mixed between amusement and violated confusion.

He glances at me as if to say, 'is this your doing?' And I just wiggle my eyebrows and try not to laugh as the room delves into total chaos. It fails when Malty hits her nail and starts crying. FUCKING CRYING!!! "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I FUCKING CAN'T DUDE! THIS IS THE KIND OF CHAOS I LIVE FOR!! HAHAHAHAHA! DID THE PRINCESS BREAK A NAIL?! HAHAHAHAHA!!! LOOK BOYS! THE WANABE MEREDITH BROKE A NAIL AND IS CRYING! SO MUCH FOR BEING A WARRIOR PRINCESS AND CHOOSING YOUR OWN FATE YOU DUMB BIMBO! AT THE END OF THE DAY, YOU'LL NEVER BE THE CROWNED PRINCESS! YOU'LL ALWAYS BE THE BIMBOSONIC SLUT ENGAGED TO A FAT PIG WITH SICK SEXUAL DESIRES!" My giggles die down a bit as silence reigns. "And that fact will never change no matter which hero you support or frame. I mean, this papers got pretty damning evidence of your lies and schemes, not to mention your dishonorableness."

I stand on the chair and hold out the paper for all to see. Grimm's holding my sides so I don't fall off. I open up the newspaper to the collage of images with malty in them. I thumb the photos. "I mean, the author makes valid points. Not to mention the calculations and images of catching you in the act... you really thought you were sneaky didn't You?" I point to the pictures of her sneaking into naofumi's room and sneaking out with his stuff. "You have no dignity or honor. You only care about a strong hero that could make your spot as crown princess return. A powerful hero who has many heroic accomplishments and owns a fief? It'd be impossible for your little sister melty to take the throne! But you know, who would want a queen that cheats in duels and frames a hero for rape, hmm? Who would want a king who thinks with his dick and tries to tax villagers way more than they can afford? And what noble in their right mind would support a princess who and hero who does all these things for king and queen?"

I drop the paper. "You're truly a disgustingly true villainous. Most villianous's are that way because the heroine is trying to steal their fiance. You're just a bitch to be a bitch." She grits her teeth but says nothing. The scrutiny of the other heroes and their party's. She looks at motoyasu and he just looks pathetic. That's right bitch, your white knight won't even defend you. He knows his reputation would only plummet and that's all he has.

"In any case," Ren clears his throat. "Is what this paper says true? Naofumi?" Naofumi glares at him and scoffs, I snort. Raphtalia, seeing Naofumi wasn't gonna answer, answers for him. "Yes it's all true. If you don't believe it, why don't you go back and check on those villages and ask them if it's all true after the next wave."

Ren nods and itsuki perks up. "Thanks Raph-chan we will! But... who wrote the paper? It's spread all over the kingdom!" Motoyasu says. I shrug haphazardly now sitting back in the chair. "Who knows? Must be someone pretty important and powerful. They got the backing of the queen and were able to distribute it throughout the kingdom over night! I wonder just how far it's spread? Maybe it's spread even farther than melromarc? Speaking of which, has anyone been out of the country recently? I'm getting pretty tired of melromarc scenery, and the leveling areas are tired out. I heard there's a country that values warriors and it has a colosseum! I also heard there's a more steampunk style country! They must have dwarves! We've got beastmen, humans, magic, why wouldn't there be dwarves?! Ooooo! I'm so excited!!! We can go there after this right Grimm???"

Grimm sighs at my enthusiastic expression. "Yes milady we will have to. The other countries experience waves as well. So it's only logical that we go and assist." Naofumi, for his part, looks alarmed. "The other countries experience these disasters as well?!" Grimm nods sighing. "Yes. It's tradition for the countries to each summon 1 hero to combat the waves and protect that country. However, because melromarc summoned all 4 heroes plus my ladyship, melromarc is in hot water with the other countries. Especially with stilvelt and shieldeden since the rape accusation and laughable trial. The two countries that worship the shield hero are calling for blood and I can only assume that because melromarc left them defenseless against the waves, the other countries don't at all feel inclined to assist melromarc. They might even back up the two beastmen countries with weapons and supplies."

Ren, Itsuki, Motoyasu and Naofumi look shocked by this revelation. "Why are you all so surprised?" I said. "The summoners and king said please save our "world" not country. So it shouldn't be surprising that this countries conduct regarding the heroes would spark serious conflicts. Haven't you wondered where the queen was all this time? She's been at the world conferences discussing the problem of the waves... although now she's probably getting verbally abused while trying to difuse the situation and avoid war. War is the last thing that this world needs right now! Think about it logically, if one country harbored enough H-Bombs, atomic and nuclear weapons to destroy the world, wouldn't every other country set aside their differences to deal with the immediate looming threat? That's what this is. Except, WE'RE the weapons of mass destruction and melromarc is the greedy country who refused to equally distribute, and is now public enemy number 1 of the entire world."

"It's a given that this country is on the decline now. Maybe if the princess didn't frame the shield hero then this all could have been solved by simply sending each of us to another country, but now that the beastmen countries are out for blood and though the other countries don't worship the shield, the gross misconduct against a hero whose worshipped like a god is not something they could or would ever ignore. Especially since they have their own hero worship and such, they definitely are like 'i understand how they must feel.' And are politely getting to the sidelines. Beastmen are fearsome. Not only do they have class systems, their physical form and abilities grow as they level. For example, raphtalia was a smoll child when Naofumi bought her. A few days of leveling and she was a full grown adult. Now consider this: cats are agile and quiet and fast and have night vision, eagles are all those(minus the night vision) and can fly, those kinds of things are just a few of their species traits. The beastmen have human and animal characteristics making them superior to us in many many ways. In hunting, and fighting they can easily mop the floor with us humans. Not to mention they've got monster compatability. They can easily raise powerful and loyal war beasts like dragons.... that FLY. Which means Ren is DEFINETLY on the Draconic shit list."

Ren frowns. "Draconic? You mean dragon descendants?" I roll my eyes. "Yes genius. Dragon descendants. Dragons are a prideful but respectful race. They pay respects to fallen warriors and their ancestors. They look out for each other. So this news will undoubtedly put a target on your back. Aaaanyway, let's not bother with any of that eh? It's almost wave time! I can't WAIT to test out my new toys!"

Malty scoffs. "As if you could do anything worth while. You're just some useless fake hero. You'll definetely be killed. The waves are the most convenient place to die after all! Stupid sl-!" She doesn't get to finish before she's a few nails and teeth short and is extremely swollen with a bruised up body and frost bite.

I don't know who did it but, thank the Lord! "Most convenient place to die? Oh that's rich coming from a FUCKING skank like yourself! Threatening to kill me eh? Right here in front of everyone? Even... The shadow guards and your own citizens? You royals just don't know when to quit do you? Thankfully for me, I brought something eeeextra special today. A new spell meant specifically for the waves. A recording and broadcasting spell. So everything that's happened here and during the waves are being broadcasted throughout the kingdom. Even the church and royal castle are watching, and they just saw you threaten me. Let me tell you something else, I made a LOT of powerful allies with beasts of legend. And I don't know which one you pissed off by threatening me and insulting me but this is the result. And I'd also like to say this to everyone watching, the princess just said she was gonna assassinate a HERO in public during a time of desperate need when even the king would not dare execute a hero assumed to have committed a crime punishable by death. Therefore when I get attacked during the wave trying to save you guys, if she is not held accountable for it consider this hero out. I won't lift a finger during any waves after this one until she is punished for attempted assassination of a hero in a time of war. Even if she doesn't lift a finger towards me, I will still assume she orchestrated an assassination if I get attacked because anything is possible with money and power, and the royal family has more than enough of that. Especially malty of the 2 princesses evident by the fact that the king clearly spoils her and has not disciplined her a day in her life. If he DID discipline her, she wouldn't act this way in public and towards a hero no less! I don't know much about the religion here but in my world it's considered blasphemous to harm or threaten to harm others or show any Ill will to others in words or actions. And doing that to an important figure? Either death in one of many ways or a lifetime stuck in a prison with people who make others their who're or will stab you While you're not expecting it in you're orange or black and white jumpsuit. But while I personally believe that if such things are done in play with a friend it's not a 1 way ticket to heck, acting out on it or intending to is widely considered as bad karma and the more bad karma you have the further from salvation and god you are. Her statement was made with very clear malice. I want you all to remember that as I stay back and take care of the small fry."

Malty's face pales exceedingly now healed with a high quality healing potion given by motoyasu. I smirk as the wave counter reaches zero... it's go time.

with a flash of light I open my eyes to see. A village in tatters in the distance... villagers are heading towards us.

V1: mage hero!

Alyss: you guys! Are any of you injured?

V2: no no. just minor scrapes and bruises. We were watching your broadcast at the bar and so we came here!

Alyss: *sighs* It's good that your all alright... did you see the shield hero? Or soldiers?

V1: yes. They helped us escape the village! They should still be there.

Grimm: your orders milady?

Alyss:.... Damien, Nikolav you two will guide the villagers to a safe spot and erect a protection barrier! Give them food and potions and such. Your jobs will be to defend them till I call for you! Grimm, your with me. Yuki, Umbra, gather any remains human or monster. Freeze the human ones. All corpses are to be delivered to the barrier once it's set up for identification and burial or harvesting respectively. Villagers, I know it'll be hard but I need you to identify the bodies... I'll have umbra look for anything that belonged to them and Niko will help you prepare them for burial... And since I don't know if I'll get a chance later, I'm sorry for everything you've lost...

Villagers: what a saint!/She's a saint hero not a mage hero!/thank you kind hero!/what a gift from the goddess!/must be an angel!

Alyss:😓 jeez.... how troublesome.... anyway, it's time to break! Don't you go dying on me boys!

We split up. Me and Grimm head to the village but on the way I stop. Grimm turns confused. "What are you doing milady? We need to go!" I smirk as I say, "hey Grimm? Ain't it just the dandiest time to try out my new toys? You go on ahead. Boots on the ground and all that!" He's confused before he smirks and nods finally understanding. "Very well then. I expect a great performance milady!"

As Grimm runs off I strike a pose as I hold out my staff. "I've always wanted to do this but.... LET'S GO STAFFY! TRAAAAAAAAANSFOOOOOOORM!"

In a flash of blue light I'm in my mecha suits sniper form!

If I remember correctly it was named Fafnir? So we're just calling it Fafnir! I move around with casual ease, partly thanks to practice and partly thanks to Staffys pilot assist function. Handy!

I start to laugh. "BEHOLD THE POWER OF MY HOLY WEAPONS FIRST FORM! FAFNIR, THE ICE QUEEN OF SPEED!" I use the magic the waves emit to fuel the Fafnir. The pact with Damien helps out immensely so! I snipe out enemies giving the soldiers a hard time before I spot Naofumi(who I almost called Natsumi as in yuujincho lol) killing a lizard thing while protecting the soldiers.

They all stare at me as I land. "Yo!" I say as naofumi snaps out of his daze and scowls. "Don't 'yo!' Me Alyss! Is this the new toy you were talking about? How the hell did you build the Fafnir in this techless world?! And where's your weapon?!" I chuckle.

"To answer that in order; yes, magic, and this IS staffy! I'm the greatest aren't I!? Praise me! Praise me!" I say with a cartoon tail and ears. He sighs. "I'd expect nothing less but such craziness from you... have you seen the others?" I see Grimm running this way. "Nah. They're probably with the boss. I know I said I'd stay out of the main fight but, if it's taking them this long then they're either dumber than we thought, dead, or too weak to kill the boss. Especially since this waves not letting up any time soon. Should we go check it out?" As I'm speaking a hear a scream like a martial artist.

I turn to the noise and see... an old lady beating the crap out of a wolfman. I hear Raphtalia speak from behind. "How did she do that?!" I don't turn to her mesmerized by the old lady. "Ki. She's a martial arts master and possibly a cultivator. Someone who tirelessly trains their body to reach the heights of the heavens. It's an old practice in our world's, but basically it entails years of intense training, medicine, meditation, and refinement of the soul. There's a lot more that goes into it, but I've only read about it in manga and wuxia novels... it was much much more complicated and difficult than magic so i couldn't remember it all as well. But I always admired such strong people! In some stories, they were called immortals because they transcended humanity through diligence and lived for thousands and sometimes even hundreds of thousands of years. They often had 2 types. Individual cultivators, and sects. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages, but it's a cut throat and dangerous path to those without the will, the strength, or the ability to cultivate. Often in those stories, there are massacres of martial sects and guys who are hellbent on world domination. The protagonists are usually: betrayed, reincarnated, have a fortuitous encounter that puts them on the path of the strongest, or are world and/or time travelers like us. Magic may be easier, but it's costly on the soul and not really helpful to the body. Whereas cultivation is the exact opposite. The fact that that granny can move like that means she's been practicing since she was around our age or younger... and she never stopped practicing. I never thought I'd meet one, but I also never thought I'd be isekai'd and that happened!😄 ooooooo this is so exciting!!"

I squeal as I clap my hands. I turn and see naofumi, the soldiers and Grimm looking impressed, while Raphtalia has a look of admiration and curiosity on her face. "As expected of Alyss-sama! Your just as wise and cool as naofumi said!" I squeal and taker her hands. "He talks about me?! Only good things I hope! After the wave I'll prepare some good books for you from my world since I'm in such a good mood and you're like, the only teenage girl that I've seen that I like so far!" She nods happily. "I'd love to learn more about your world's sometime!"

Naofumi smiles. "We'll set aside a date and time okay? It'll be good for us to catch up on stuff..." I smile back.

"Yeah that would be nice!" The old lady finishes her fight and bows. "Thank you so much for your help in the past shield hero. I'm indebted to you. Mage hero, though we've never met your knowledge is quite a surprise. A welcome one. Not many practice martial arts since there is magic. So to hear a magic user and a hero speak highly of it is incredible to me. If you would like to learn I'd be more than happy to teach you."

I laugh nervously. "Sorry miss. But I'm really not a martial arts gal... I've tried when I was younger, but it's not my style... I'm grateful for the offer though! Although... if you wouldn't mind, naofumi might benefit from your teachings more... he can't hold a weapon so I think martial arts might be a perfect fit for him... please teach him some basic moves sometime?" I bow as best I can in Fafnir. She nods slightly. "Its understandable. Martial arts is not for everyone. I don't know if ki usage is a good fit for the shield hero but I can certainly teach him hand to hand combat if he's willing."

Naofumi nods gratefully to the woman. "Sir hero! All the villagers are safe inside a barrier created by the mage hero's party on the outskirts of town!" "That's great! Now keep the enemy out of the town." He replies as he gazes at the wave. "Sir and lady heroes, you really should go. We need to put an end to the wave quickly!"

Naofumi converses with the soldiers and granny some more before he turns to me. "Ready to go?" I nod. "Hell yeah! I know where we're going but... How're we gonna get there?" "We'll take filo. You take to the skies I guess." I nod. "Grimm," I start. "I know milady. I'll stay here and help defend the village. If you need me, just call."

I smile. "Thanks Grimm. You always know me so well!"

~Timeskip to the ship~

Naofumi heads up to the ship while I arrive late. "Sorry I'm late! I had to make sure there weren't any strays around... need a hand?" I say as I land next to Itsuki. Him and his party are stunned but don't bother asking cause it's not the time for that. "Yeah. We could use some help!" I smirk. "Alrighty! Here comes the buffs!"

I cast mana regen, accuracy up, attack up, focus, speed up, cast speed up, and put it on an auto recast. Then I take itsuki's bow. "Hey!" He says angrily. "Hold on I wanna try something. Mmmmmmmmm!" I turn red with concentration trying to penetrate the weapon before- "success!" I say as I hand it to him.

"It was a gamble but i think it worked. Try using it now, there should be some new functions... aim assist, target tracking, sniping functions, elemental and missile arrow options are what you're looking at if it worked. Try it out now." I say. He examines the bow as I get yelled at by his teammates who I ignore.

"Wow! This is amazing! Thanks Alyss, this'll be a great help in the future!" I give him a thumbs up. "No problemo my bro! We gotta work together after all..." he nods happily. A minute or so later a bright beacon of light appeared. "That's our cue Itsuki!" I say. "Lets go guys!" Itsuki says to his party.

I land on the ship after itsuki carefully. "What the fuck are you still doing alive you useless slut? And what is that monstrosity!" Malty shouted. I fired a round close to her head. "What do you mean 'What are you still doing alive?' Did you really send something to kill me you skank!? Thank GOD they must've died in the wave. And I'm more useful to the country then you so why don't you shut your whore mouth and be thankful I don't kill you for not only insulting me multiple times, but trying to kill me, and insulting my legendary weapons mecha form! And yes, I did just say that this 'monstrosity' was the legendary weapon given to me by the goddess. I'm streaming all of this btw in case you forgot in the last 3 hours y'all have been being stupidly retarded. Naofumi and I were finishing securing the village and it's people wondering why the fuck the monsters were still pouring out like a cursed piñata! Only for us to show up and find itsuki taking care of the flying freaks off you guys who are on the ship, and when naofumi goes up here, what do I see on the live feed?! You idiots fighting with Each other about which enemy needs to be killed to reach the next phase, Only for Naofumi to come in and you guys act like total tools and him to use his brain and figure it out instantly. Everyone who was standing around in bafflement at my words snapped back to reality realizing the soul eaters truly weren't dying. And instead it had fused into a large dimensional soul eater. I powered down my suit and are a snack to chill... no reason to fight right now...

"Hey! Why aren't you doing anything you useless slog?!" Malty shouts at me. "Shut the fuck up SKANK! While y'all were FUCKING around, I was taking care of villagers and securing a town with Naofumi. I swear nervously... "soooo.... Mr spirit god... why am I here and why are you talking to me? Am I not worthy to contract with Damien and you're here to curse me or something!? "No. Absolutely not. I don't want my predecessors sloppy seconds. Plus your super old and I already have Damien! And he's super cute and sweet and he understands me! I don't need your power anyways. "Never. It's not something that should ever be used." I stand in front of naofumi. "Not to mention, I'll be cutting in. Mrs. Glass, fan Hero of another world." Everyone looks shocked at that revelation, even Glass.

"My My. The only other hero worth mentioning awakens." I snort. "Yeah well. I just got done communing with a GOD. Apparently I'm worthy of his attention. In any case, the wrath shield will not be being used. If you want to fight so badly, you'll fight me! The Mage Hero Marked by the Gods of Magic and Spirits! Nimbus, Lets go all out!" Nimbus. That's his true name.

Staffy is no longer staffy. He is Nimbus. It means "the rainstorm" in latin. I return him to his original form. It's evolved from a staff, to a book.

(A/N: yes that is indeed V's book. I thought it was fitting considering we're the 5th hero and all. Plus I liked it, and I like V.)

Everyone was super aghast at that. Especially Glass. "How is that possible? The Mage Hero only ever had a staff!" I laugh. "Fufufufufu! That's where you're wrong! It's in my name after all. I'm the Mage Hero not that egotistical ass STAFF 'hero'. My weapon is magic, and any weapon can use magic. You picked the wrong hero to piss off Glass." I smirk.

"Now then... you damn invader, I think it's high time you get back to your own world! ABYSSAL CHAINS!!"

Nimbus opens up as several portals open above me. Over 100 chains with hooks come out and pierce and wrap up Glass as she struggles in pain. "And now I summon thee, GABRIEL!"

In a flash of blinding light, a angel appears and kneels before me. "Send this invader back to her world forthright!" And so the angel grabs hold of the chains, swings her around and throws the nuisance into the portals above. "Noice gabriel! Now let's go back to the village and restore life, okay?" The angel bows before picking me up and flying me over the village. As she does her feathers fall on the scorched ground and tattered houses, leaving newer, better houses and pusher lands. After that we pick up the boys and head back to Melromarc. The boys are flying on conjured Dragons, and Gabriel is carrying me. It is truly a sight to behold to see guards, adventures, townsfolk, and clergymen alike bowing before Me and my party. It's most definitely because of the fact that I summoned an angel whose feathers healed the land. We land in front of the capital before I dismiss Gabriel and the dragons. We have time to spare so we head to Sheri's Café to celebrate our victory as we wait for the other heroes to return and for us to be summoned.
