Breathing.

His lips lingering above mine. And yet I can't stop staring. My heart is racing, my fingers numb against the surface of his shirt. What is this?

He doesn't say anything, I don't either. His cheeks are a glazed scarlet, eyes not leaving mine.

"Stop stalling." My voice is shaky. I pull him closer, my lips crashing on his. My hands are gripping his shirt towards me, he doesn't argue.

I feel like I could melt. My body is a thousand degrees and burning, but I can't get out of this kiss. And hell, I don't want to.

Next thing I know we're on the couch. I'm running my hands thorough his hair, soft to the touch, bringing him closer. He's gentle, cupping my cheek with one hand and the other supporting him up above me.

We part, just for a mere moment to breathe. He presses his forehead against mine, softly, as if I might break. He looks as if he's about to tell me something.

"Don't." I exclaim before he can speak. I lean in to kiss him again, he lets out a soft gasp, but goes with it.

I turn us over, I'm on top leaning on his chest and he's pressed up against the couch.

"Jesse-?" He's nervous. That's cute.

"Comfortable?" I manage a smirk, which only makes his face even redder.

"Actually..." his momentarily-sheepish expression turns sly, in a moment I feel his breath on my ear making me shiver. "...very."
