Tony

I rest my head against the desk. I have drank more then I have in my entire life and that is saying a lot but I didn't care. Peter was dead, dead because of me. We should have just left him, Spiderman, alone. But we didn't and now he's dead.

"Sir," I hear Friday's voice come over my music and I internally face palm. I don't need this right now...

"What?" I grumble and look back up to my suit I was making from scratch.

"You should probably leave the lab, you have been in here for four days." the AI informs me.

"No, I shouldn't. I have everything I need right here with me." I motion to everything around me.

I have been living off alcohol and whatever was in the mini fridge for the last few days and haven't left the lab at all.

"What about Steve and -" Friday starts but I cut her off before she could go any further.

"Mute." I snap and the AI shuts up letting my music play at full volume again.

The other Avengers didn't have to be geniuses to come down here and bother me after what happened last time. Let's just say multiple things got thrown, so I'm fairly shocked in my drunkenness when I hear the lab door open.

"WHAT?!?" I yell and take another sip from my current bottle. I don't even look over my shoulder, I just turn my music up some more after a minute. I assume they left or were just staring at me and I didn't really care which.

Eventually I feel someone tap my shoulder. "What do you want?" I growl and I hear the person jump back. I don't look and wait, getting angrier by the second. If they have the nerve to come down here they better tell me what the hell they want. "I SAID WHAT DO YOU WANT!" I snap and turn to look at who ever bothered me.

Peter is alive?! My anger fades for a solid second before coming back. Why didn't anyone tell me, I should have been the first to know. I look at him for a minute not knowing how to feel.

"How long?" I yell and Peter backs up some more. "How long have you -" I stop mid sentence because Peter starts crying.

"Whatever, Friday how long has Peter been awake?" I ask the AI and an reply comes pretty fast but it's not a straight answer.

"You told everyone to leave - " Friday starts and I snap again.

"HOW DAMN LONG?!?" I yell and look up from the table again.

"Sir, you are drunk. Peter, should I call for help?" Friday asks and I look up. Peter is hugging himself with tears falling down his face and I instantly feel sober.

"Kid," I whisper and pull him into a tight hug. "Don't do that." I squeeze him and he hugs me back. "I'm sorry kid." I whisper just as the lab doors fly open.

Peter

I look into the lab and see Dad surround by empty alcohol bottles and beer bottles.

"WHAT?!?" Dad yells and I jump back a little. I have never heard him yell like that and honestly, I wish I hadn't. I watch him take another sip of his beer, not even looking back at me and he turns his music up again.

I build up the strength to tap on his shoulder but it fades as soon as I do.

"What do you want?" Dad growls and I jump back again. He doesn't look back at me and I want to cry but I hold it together. "I SAID WHAT DO YOU WANT!" Dad yells and finally looks at me. I crack under the anger in his voice and start to cry even though I don't want to.

Dad looks at me for a minute and I try to stop crying.

"How long?" Dad yells and I back up a little bit unintentionally. "How long have you -" he stops halfway through his sentence and I don't know if it's because he doesn't want to talk to me or because I'm crying. "Whatever, Friday how long has Peter been awake?" he asks the AI and Friday takes a second to think of the right thing to say so it must have been a little while now.

"Sir, you told everyone to leave - " Friday starts but Dad cuts him off.

"HOW DAMN LONG?!?" he yells and looks up from the table again. I hug myself trying to keep myself from crying but in order to do that I have to hold my breathe. So I do but it doesn't work perfectly.

"Sir, you are drunk. Peter, should I call for help?" Friday asks and I see Dad looks at me looking calmer.

"Kid," he whispers and I gulp as he pulls me into a hug. "Don't do that." he hugs me tighter and I hug him back a little letting myself cry a little bit. "I'm sorry kid." Dad whispers as the lab doors fly open and Pops, Bucky, Nat, and Bruce rush in.

"Peter!" Pops yells clearly relieved but worried at the same time. Aunt Nat and Bucky make their way over to us and I let go of Dad. They lead me out of the room and I see Pops and Dad start fighting right before the lab door slams shut.

"Peter, you really should have told us that you were going in there." Bucky says rubbing my back a little like Pops did when I first came to the tower. That seemed like forever ago though...

"I'm sorry, I didn't - " I start but Aunt Nat stops me.

"Hey, it's ok. we should have told you. Are you ok?" she asks the last part a little quieter.

"Yeah," I lie. I'm totally amazing, my parents are fighting, all of the Avengers just found out that I'm Spiderman and I just got screamed at by Dad. Totally peachy.

"Don't lie Pete." Bruce says as the elevator doors open and we all walk out to the living room.

"I don't know. I just don't, want anything bad to happen and I feel like I just started a war between Dad and Pops." I explain in one quick breath and Aunt Nat nods her head like she understands.

"Don't worry kid, they used to fight a lot more then this. It will blow over." she smiles what I assume is a sympathetic smile and Bruce nods.

"Like all of the time." he adds and Bucky hands me the remote as they all disappear into the kitchen.

9 Hours Later

I'm watching Star Wars when I hear the elevator ding and I look up.

Pops and Dad walk out but walk straight from the elevator to the kitchen. I look for a minute at Dad and it looks like he was crying because his face is bright red but Pops is holding his hand. Bruce and Aunt Nat were right.

I sit on the couch by myself for a second before all of them come out of the kitchen to join me. I am confused for a second but calm down when Dad and Pops sit down next to me.

"Peter, I'm sorry." Dad says and I nod.

"It's ok, I get it, I think." I reply my voice getting quieter as I say it.

"We all want to do something to make up for everything but we don't have to if you don't want to..." Pops adds onto what Dad says and I look over at the others who are all bubbling with excitement. What the heck is going on?

"We're going to Disney!" Dad says sounding enthusiastic but careful at the same time and I look at them all and see them smiling. I jump up excitedly, I have never been to Disney before.

"What?! No way!" I gasp and smile and they all nod and join me as I freak out. "When?!" I ask and they all look at Pops.

"We leave first thing in the morning." He smiles and everyone in the room starts to celebrate.

"You might want to pack." Clint laughs as I tell them all about everything I want to do and I nod before rushing off to my room.

Steve

Hours pass and it takes me a little bit but I am able to calm both Tony and myself down. Tony still is crying which is pretty upsetting but I know he will be ok, he's starting to sober up so he'll either feel worse or better pretty soon.

"I need to make it up to Pete." he cries into my shoulder and I nod confusedly. I don't know how he wants to make it up to Peter, it's not like he can go back in time.

Unless he created that technology, but I don't think he has.

"What do you mean?" I ask carefully and he looks up at me, his eyes filled with determination.

"I screamed at him and I want to do something for him." he explains and I smile as we go over things that sound fun for all of us to do together because the team is going want to join.

We agree on going to Disney because who doesn't like Disney? We go upstairs to the kitchen to talk it over with the team.

I see Peter sitting on the couch and he looks pretty relieved as we come and join him on the couch. Tony and me make sure we sit down next to him and he smiles a little.

"Peter, I'm sorry." Tony says and Peter nods.

"It's ok, I get it I think." Pete replies quietly and I smile slightly at the two of them.

"We all want to do something to make up for everything but we don't have to if you don't want to..." I add and Peter looks over at the others who are all nearly exploding with excitement and I have to stop myself from laughing.

"We're going to Disney!" Tony smiles and Peter jumps up smiling like crazy. I knew he would like the idea, being the Star Wars and Disney fan he is.

"What?! No way!" he grins like crazy looking at everyone else and they all nod and laugh as he tells them a bunch of things about Disney. "When?!" he asks and everyone in the room looks at me.

"We leave first thing in the morning." I smile and everyone in the room starts to celebrate, even Tony which makes me feel better.

"You might want to pack." Clint laughs as because Peter was acting like he was ready to leave right there and then. He nods before rushing off to his room leaving everyone in the room nearly dying from laughter.

Peter

We walk around Disney all day riding the rides and skipping the lines because 'Omg it's the Avengers'. We eat as much junk food as possible, even though Pops said we were going to get sick, and meet a bunch of the characters. As we were walking around a little girl came up to us and points at Aunt Nat.

"Are you a princess?" She asks and she smiles.

"Yeah, I am." Aunt Nat grins and I hold back a laugh.

The little girl gives Aunt Nat a hug before running off to find her parents and we all laugh.

When it gets dark we went to the Castle and watch the fireworks before deciding it was time to head home.

As we climb into the Quin-Jet, Dad decides he would drive while the rest of us exchange our souvenirs. I got a lot of Star Wars stuff and I was having so much fun looking through the others stuff but I end up passing out from all the days excitement.

When I wake up the jet was just landing and everyone is packing up their souvenirs. I sit up and look around to see that Dad had gotten my bags but now he couldn't carry his own stuff back inside. Pops walks over to him and took most of my luggage, not all because Dad is y'know... Tony, and he walks inside without a problem.

I follow after him and we all go up to the living room. It is late at night, probably 10 or 11 but the compound is still bustling with life. No one seems to concerned so we just keep walking but just as we approached the elevator a woman stops Dad.

"Mr. Stark, there's a problem." She says and he yawns, clearly not interested.

"If this is about the Stark planes again-" he starts but the woman cuts him off.

"There's been an attack on New York."

The Avengers freeze and look at her.

"Tell is the details on the way up, Peter go upstairs." Pops eventually says and I make a face.

"What?! I can help though!" I complain but they shake their heads or look away from me.

"Peter your too... what's the word? Young, untrained, basically your unprepared to fight." Dad sighs and I grumble.

"Peter just go upstairs, please." Aunt Nat says and I sigh. She barely ever used 'please' so I knew she was serious. And I don't want to make her mad because have you seen what she can do?!

"Fine." I sigh as I make my way to the elevator by myself. When I get upstairs Friday greets me and tells me the there was some food waiting in the kitchen for me. I'm not hungry.

"Turn on the news with the details about the attack in New York." I say as I plop down on the couch. A couple seconds later I could see that Hydra was making some kind of problem not to far from Times Square.

I wait for my family to arrive on the set of the crime and after a couple of minutes they do. I watch the fight as I sit on the couch and I'm not gonna lie, they are getting there butts whooped.

That's it. I jump up from the couch and run over to wear I had fixed my suit earlier with Dad. It is nice and it has a few updates thanks to Dad so I throw it on before rushing out of the compound.

When I arrive at the crime people were screaming and running away as Dad and Pops were teaming up on who seemed to be the leader while everyone else was doing their own thing. I jump into action and start to help the people getting them to safer places and guiding them along but when that was dealt with I turn back to the Avengers.

I shoot a couple of webs to help Dad and Pops out because they seem to be a little distracted. They turn to look at me for a quick second before going back to fighting the dude. Guess that means I can help...?

I swing around shooting webs at the other bad guys and helping out people who need it. I even wave to the camera on the building as I pass before taking down a crowd of Hydra members.

I was doing pretty good until my Spidey senses went off like crazy. I knew it right before it happened. I swung by and grab the bomb that a Hydra member has managed to get in their hand and was about to throw it to Pops. As I grab it I know it's too late, it goes off.

I am thrown back into the crowd of Hydra people and black dots appear in my vision.

"Dad." I yell out and hear a lot of yelling and my head starts to pound as I pass out in the middle of the fight.

When I wake up I was in a room. A room I was sure wasn't in the Compound. It was bright and the walls were a shade of grey. I groan in pain as I try to sit up from a bed that was oddly positioned in the middle of the nearly empty room and felt a tug on my right wrist.

I look over and saw a silver circle wrapped around my wrist. What the hell? I try to help and get chained to a bed, this isn't very fair.

The door on the wall in front of me swings open and it gets brighter hurting my senses even more.

"Good morning Spiderman." I hear a voice say and I didn't recognize it at all.

"Where am I?" I ask as I notice how dry my throat is.

"Well, your in one of the Hydra compounds clearly." I hear him say smoothly and I blink.

No way. Why would I be in a Hydra compound?

"Your Dads are very worried about you..." he continues and walks over to me.

"Why am I here?" I ask and he smiles.

"Because we can use you." He smiles coldly at me before pressing a button that locks me to the bed and my body aches all over again.

Multiple Days Later

Tony

I sit in the meeting room with all and I mean all of the other Avengers with me.

"What do you mean we can't find him?" I ask as I try to hide the anger as it builds up inside of me.

"Tony, we looked almost everywhere in the city. We don't even have a clue where he could be." Nat tries to explain and I put my head on the cold glass table.

"Okay so what do we know?" I hear Steve ask and I look up real quick.

"Peter was taken by Hydra -" Bruce starts and I growl cutting him off.

"After we told him NOT to come."

They all look away like they disagree or something.

"Whatever," I sigh and stand up. "Keep up with the search, I'm going to go look for any clues to where he might be." I say irritably as I walk around the team so I can go to the lab across the hall.

Peter

I wake up and see them.

"Hey kid." Dad smiles and I smile a little through the pain that was coming from everywhere.

"Hey Peter." Pops says from behind him and they other Avengers filed into the room.

"Dad, Pops." I try to reach for them but the metal held me back. Tears form in my eyes and as I blink the images of my family slowly fade.

"Hm, how's your family?" The man I know know as Dr. Yordy smiles coldly at me as more tears trickle down my face. "You'll never see them again, they don't miss you or want you anyways." He adds as he grabs hold of my arm and my muscles tighten.

He jabs a shot into my arm not even looking for a vain and I cry out.

"No ones going to help you." He says pushing the point further into my arm and I gasp for air as I choke on my tears.

My arm feels warm and the feeling quickly spreads to the rest of my body and the pounding in my head try to fight it. I am hungry, thirsty and in pain so my senses weren't helping me much more then trying to heal me.

I look down at my arms and take a couple breaths as I see the scars that were now on my skin. Some were newer from earlier but most were from the first couple of days because I fought back, or at least tried to. The older ones were starting to fade but I know that my healing was working way slower then usual.

Dr. Yordy walks in front of me and took out his phone.

"Smile for the Avengers Spiderman." He says and I try to look up to let my eyes meet the camera. When they did he snaps the picture and my head falls back again making my whole body ache even more then before. Maybe I should just give up...

Tony

I scroll threw the internet looking over one useless thing after another when my phone rings.

I have been searching for some clue to where Peter may be for the last few days without a break. Normally I would have ignore it because it would have been the other Avengers but they all rushed into the room. I eye them as I reach for my phone. It is a text from an unknown number.

I open it and gasp. It is a picture of Peter but it almost didn't look like the boy I know. His hair was greasy and messy, his face was bloody and bruised and he just looks horrible.

"Tony what is it?" Steve asks as he walks over and I make it so the picture shows on the lab screen. They all freeze when they see the picture and before I can even say anything we were all suiting up.

I track the number which lead us to an abounded War world 2 base in a pretty remote town in New Jersey. The base seems almost completely empty and we were about to retrace our steps when we see a black van pull out of a garage clearly not seeing us.

As the garage doors starts to close we all make our way over and under the door into what definitely was not an abandoned building. The garage was filled with weapons and get away cars. Some of them were labeled with the Hydra symbol. I look over at Steve before we make our way across the room to the doors.

I have Friday scan the walls and she tells me that there are at least 5 armed people on the other side of the door.

"We're going to have to fight our way through." Steve tells us and we all nod. We weren't leaving without Pete.

Peter

I try to close my eyes so I can focus more on my breathing instead of the shot going into my arm. Once the stinging starts, Yordy's radio went off.

"We're having a problem in the left wing." A female voice says over the radio her voice monotone.

"Ok, I'm coming." He replies and leaves out the door. I hear the lock click and I close my eyes trying to calm the pain that's spreading all over my body.

I don't know how long I had my eyes closed for, in the state of pain and sleeplessness but I shoot them open when I hear the door open. I know what has happened when I try to fall asleep when Yordy or any of the other Hydra members are around.

My vision is foggy and I blink multiple times but it doesn't go away. Light streams in from the doorway and I squint as I try to make out who is standing at the door. I smile a little when I see Dad and Pops but remember it's just my brain playing with me. It must be Yordy or another one of the Hydra members. I lean my head back and close my eyes not caring about how much trouble I will get into.

Tony

We make a Hydra member show us to where Peter was being kept. She was sweet but then again she probably didn't want to be killed. She led us down a metal hallway and to the very last door. I went to open the door and heard a smack behind me.

"What the hell?" I ask and turn around to see Steve standing over the woman's limp body.

"She was going for the alarm." Nat says and jerks her head to the red box sitting on the wall. I nod my head and push open the door.

The door was pretty heavy but wasn't a match for my suit. I step in first followed by Steve then everyone else, after all he was our kid. Then I see him.

He looks worse then before. His once brown hair was now closer to black and filthy and he seemed to be shaking with cuts and bruises all over his arms and legs as far as I could see. He didn't say anything though, he closes his eyes and leans his head back.

"Peter is in an unstable condition sir." Friday says to me and I roll my eyes.

"No really?" I mumble back and walk up to him. "Peter?" I call for him and he flinches a little but kept his eyes closed. Steve and Bucky quickly pick him up and we all make our way back to the Quin-Jet so we could take Pete home to the compound.

Tony

The Quin-Jet lands at the compound and everything seems to happen so fast. The lift of the jet lowers, letting Hellen Cho and her medical assistants rush in and sweep Peter away from us to treat his injuries.

Within seconds Steve is at my side.

"Tony, we have to go inside." Steve tries and I nod knowing that if I stay in the jet all night I will get sick.

I walk into the compound with Steve at my side but stop when we reach the living room. On the couch I see Peter's souvenir bag from our trip to Disney. I hesitate before looking to Steve.

"Hey, it's going to be okay. We know Peter, he won't leave us like this." Steve assures me and pulls me into his chest engulfing me in a hug.

"I know, I just- I don't want to loose him again." I stiffen and Steve rubs my back.

"Yeah, I know but Bruce and Cho are working on him and he will be back to being himself soon." Steve kisses my cheek and wipes my tears away. "Are you hungry?"

"No, not really."

"That's new." Steve says trying to get me to smile. I don't. "Then let's go to bed, it's been a long day." Steve smiles kindly and I nod as he takes my hand and leads us to our bedroom.

Bruce

My eyes scan over Peter. He's in worse shape then when he was adopted not even two months ago. His condition is still definitely worse then the gun shot he took not that long ago.

"Dr. Banner?" Hellen Cho calls for my attention and I look over at her.

"Yes?"

"Do you know precisely what happened?" She asks and I shake my head no. No one really knows what happened to Pete other then him and the Hydra bastards who did this to him. Maybe once he heals we can ask him.

"Well, we should probably get to work then." She murmurs before she walks back over to Peters limp body where her students are working away to help Hellen and me as much as they can.

"I suppose." I sigh hating to see Pete in this shape but know I have to get to work, not only for him but for everyone in the tower and everyone who looked up to Spiderman.

Natasha

Sand spills onto the light blue smooth floor, echoing across the training room. I stare down at it debating on what I should do, not what I should do about the broken punching bag leaking out in the floor but about Peter, the kid who does everything for everyone except himself.

"And there goes another one." I hear Clint chuckle weakly from behind me. "You need help cleaning that up again?"

It's already the third bag I've gone threw in the last hour alone. Bruce is working on the kid but we don't know if he'll make it and Bruce or Hellen Cho haven't come out of the medical lab. And it's not like we can just go in and see for ourselves, Bruce got Friday to make it so whenever one of us try to get threw the whole medical ward goes on lockdown. I don't think even Tony can get through the system this time.

"Nat?" Clint calls my name and I look over to him.

I look back down to the growing pile of sand with a frown.

"Yeah, yeah sure." I nod and we start towards to door to the lab so we can get something to clean up the mess.

Tony

"Tony, sweetheart?" I hear someone call my name and I sit up. "Tony? I'm going out for a bit." The voice is so familiar and it sends a shiver up my spine.

I walk out into a hall and look down the spiral staircase and see someone I thought I would never have seen again.

"Mom?" I call out but I assume she doesn't hear me as she turns and one of the men by the door opens it. I rush down the stairs but as I get closer to the floor she gets further away.

When I finally reach the floor the man is closing the door and I'm left standing there like an idiot.

"Anthony-" I hear another voice start talking to me from behind.

"Tony." I correct the person before turning to look at them. My heart drops.

"Okay, Tony." His voice is cold and strict and it makes me want to walk away as fast as possible but I don't. "Tony, we have an interview in five minutes. You go make him presentable." He waves to someone and before I know it I am being taken away.

"Let me go." I try to shake the person off of me.

"Anthony! Listen to me and go get ready. I'm leaving in five minutes with or without you." He snaps and I stumble back a little.

"But-"

"It's not up for discussion Anthony Edward Stark." He says and I look down. "Tony." He sighs and I don't look up.

"Tony." I open my eyes and see Steve looking down at me. "Tony, are you ok?" He asks putting down the book he was reading and he pulls me into a hug.

"Yeah," I shake my head.

"No, you're not Tony."

"No, I'm not. I had a dream about my dad." I burry my face in his shoulder.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Steve kisses my forehead and I look up at him.

"I just don't want to be like him. I don't want to treat anyone the way he treated me-"

"Your not like him Tony. Your so much better and your a great father." Steve assures me and pulls me into another tight hug. "I love you."

"I love you too." I mumble and drift back to sleep in his arms.
Bruce

I haven't left the medical ward since Peter had arrived. He seems to be doing better. He is healing quickly which is amazing but it seems like it will still take a while for him to get better.

"That's all I can do," Hellen Cho sighs and touches the matted hair on Peters forehead. "All he has to do is wake up now, but there's still the chance..." Her words trail off like she doesn't want to finish the sentence, I nod my head in understanding. It makes it easier if we don't say it. "Would you like me to tell the others or would you?"

"I'll do it," After all I have been with these guys for years, they'll want to hear it from me. "Have a safe trip back."

"Will do." She smiles then her eyes go back to Peter. "Good luck with them." She says before walking out to the hall with her team behind her, leaving me and a passed out Peter in the room together. I sigh before going to go tell everyone else about Peter's state of health.

Steve

The compound reeks with deafening silence. No one has any inspiration to do anything and Fury refuses to let us do any missions. It's because we don't have Peter running around causing trouble with Clint or working in the lab with Tony and Bruce or even helping out in the kitchen with Bucky. So instead we keep to ourselves, thinking about what we could've done differently to keep this from happening or think about all the memories we have had with Peter.

The elevator doors ding breaking the silence. I look up to see Bruce walk in and I keep my eyes on him as everyone else turns to see him. A kind of new energy has filled the room making everyone look around at each other with hope. With hope the energy also brings curiosity and worry at the same time.

"Hey guys," Bruce smiles awkwardly and I smile kindly at him. "How are you guys doing?"

"Could be better." Tony locks eyes with him knowing that he is avoiding the subject. "How's it going with Peter?" Bruce runs his hands through his hair.

"Peter is doing great, I think he is most likely going to make it." Bruce says and everyone seems to sigh in relief holding onto his words. We couldn't loose him, it would break us and I know it would break Tony more then anything.

"Can we see him or?" Clint asks not even finishing his sentence because Bruce shakes his head no.

"He has to heal a little more and needs a lot more rest before any one can see him." Bruce pauses for a minute scanning everyone's face in the room before continuing. "He has the healing factor and, even if we don't fully understand it, he should be as close to back to normal within the next few weeks but since we don't know much about it, he could be better sooner or later then that." Bruce explains and I nod.

"Next few weeks? As in around two weeks or as in more then five?" Nat asks pushing for more details on Peter's state. There is no doubt in my mind, that she won't try to go and see him without Bruce's permission.

"I'm thinking three weeks but it might range up to five or so." Bruce sighs and Tony looks away with a look on his face before he lays back down turning the tv back on. "Sorry guys."

"It's not your fault Bruce." Vision tells him and I join in.

"We couldn't of known what kind of shape he was in. We weren't exactly expecting..." I trail off, thinking back to when we had found Peter at the Hydra base.

He was nocked out cold but he was mumbling things in his sleep and if you really listened which wasn't that hard in the deathly quiet Quin-Jet you could hear what he was saying.

Tony had sat next to him the whole ride, rubbing his back as Peter had laid on his side and whispered things to him the whole ride. No body else dared to speak until Hellen Cho came over the radio.

We had all been in shock clearly and we were scared for Peter, and even though we didn't want to admit it at the time, we all knew that he had an almost impossible chance of making it. Even Bruce said it himself as he started looking at the cuts and marks on Peter assessing the injuries. The minute he said it the room had gone cold loosing some kind of energy that we hadn't found until Bruce finally came upstairs to give us a status update.

"Thank you Banner. We appreciate the update." Wanda says breaking me from my thoughts and as I look over to her Vision holds her closer.

"Yeah." Bruce says before he turns and walks over to kitchen most likely to get something to eat.

Peter

I look around and I'm in full honesty in shock by what I see. It's Aunt Mays apartment, but it looks almost exactly how it looked before she was killed.

I look around the living room and see that my backpack laying on the floor along with a bunch of my school books and right besides it is my suit.

"Peter?" I hear an unfamiliar voice call my name and I turn around to see a woman with long brown hair and stunning blue eyes looking at me with the most confused look on her stunning face.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" I ask stupidly and she seems astonished.

"Mary?" I hear someone call and a man steps into the living room and he stops when his eyes land on me.

"Richard, where is May?" The woman, Mary, asks and Aunt May steps out of the kitchen.

"Peter? What are you doing here?" May asks as she walks across the room and wraps her arms around me.

"Uhm," I gap at the room around me when a voice that makes my chest ache comes from the kitchen.

"What do you mean Peter is here?" I hear Uncle Ben ask and I look around May and see him standing by the counter.

"She means that our boy is here." The other man, Richard, says and I look to him and he looks at me with soft eyes in awe.

"Peter why? Why are you here?" Mary asks and I try to think but my head feels heavy and it doesn't seem to want to think.

"I don't know." I mumble and May looks at me.

"What did you do?" She asks her voice suddenly stern, a voice I have only heard a few times since I have ever lived with her and then all of the memories come rushing back to me.

"I-I messed up. I tried to help even though I was told not too." I mumble and Mary pulls me into a hug.

"Peter, baby, you cant come with us yet. You've got to go back." I am confused but I nod and she kisses my forehead. "They need you more then you think. They love you too." She smiles gently before my vision goes black again before flashing bright white.

2 weeks later

Peter

A door slams and my eyes fly open. A wall of white light blinds me and I attempt to bring my hands to my face as my adrenaline kicks in. I don't know what's happening, I can hardly see, but I know I have to protect myself.

"Woah, Peter." Someone says but the words echo around my head changing, making it harder for me to understand and comprehend them. I use my arms to cover my head knowing that the voice most likely belongs to a Hydra member and I have no other way to protect myself. I shut my eyes right and prepare for the hit but it doesn't come.

"Peter, relax. Your going to hurt yourself more." The voice says and notice that the person sounds like they actually care. It also hits me that Hydra has also learned my name and isn't calling me Spiderman anymore. "Can you open your eyes?" The voice asks and I shake my head no.

"The light." I explain briefly but my voice sounds off. The words also echo around my head after they leave my mouth making it hard to concentrate.

I hear the person walk away then back before they speak again, "Lights off now Peter."

I slowly remove my arms from over my head taking in each detail at a time. By the time my hands are on my chest I see that the room only has a little light coming from the window to my right.

"How do you feel?" The voice asks and I look over at the person. As my eyes adjust to the dark room, my jaw drops.

"Bruce?" I ask amazed and he smiles. "Where am I?" I ask and his smile instantly drops a little.

"Your home Peter.!Do you want me to get your parents?" He asks and I nod. "Ok, I'll be right back."

I watch as he leaves the room and I force myself to sit up so I can see my surroundings better.

As I look around the dark room, out of the corner of my eye I spot something I feel like I haven't seen in forever.

On the bedside table I spot the phone that Dad and Pops had given to me when I first moved in with the Avengers. I reached for it and managed to inch it closer to me before it fell on the floor. I stare at it and groan as I decide that I should get it and make sure it isn't broken.

Tony

I lean on the Steve, starring blankly at the tv, as we sit on the couch watching. Some show is playing but my mind isn't in the mood to try and understand what is going on. The show is something that had come on after the eleven am news and it was keeping the room from falling into a complete depressing silence. For me, the silence would've been better but Steve has been making me do normal everyday things such as watching the news.

Nat, Bucky, Wanda, Vision, and Clint were all spread out doing what they would usually do. Anyone who wasn't blind, wait screw that even, blind people could even see that their hearts weren't in it. The show cut to commercials just as Banner burst threw the door and I shoot up.

"He's awake." Banner says and that's enough. The room has suddenly become brighter and well its easier for me to breath. I sit up and rush down to the medical wing with the rest of the team closely behind me. I don't stop to wait for them though, I need to see Peter. I see the other Avengers in the hall behind him looking into the room looking relieved slightly.

"Tony," Bruce calls from behind me and I look over my shoulder at him. "Peter might still be a little confused so you have to be careful." He explains how he thinks Peter has a concussion and how it shouldn't take him that long to heal but we've still got to be careful with the noise and light levels. Bruce also tells me that he will show us the room Peter is in because Friday won't let anyone but him through until Bruce clears his code.

I walk to Steve's side and he reaches for my hand. We follow Banner through a couple of halls and past a few doors, which Banner has come up with a code so the rest of us couldn't get past without him, until we stop at a light grey door in a dead end hallway.

"This is his room." Banner says quietly and I watch as he cracks the door open slightly.

"Me and the others can wait out here." Bucky says and Nat nods. Clint groans and sits down on the floor while Vision and Wanda start talking about who knows what.

"Ready?" Steve asks and I nod. We haven't seen Peter since we've rescued him from a Hydra base after the kid decided to help with the fight in New York where he was kidnapped. Between those few weeks he's been going through with Hydra torture and when we got him back he didn't look to great.

I push the door open and see nothing. No one is in the room.

"Bruce?" I look at over my shoulder. "Where's my kid?"

"He was in there tens minutes ago." Banner takes a step into the room and looks around. "Peter?"

Peter

So the bad news, I almost fell and almost hit my head when I tried to get out of the hospital bed to get my phone. The worse news, I'm kinda stuck on the floor.

I sit with my back against the space between the bedside table and the bed regretting my decisions as I start my phone back up. As soon as it faintly glowed with the Apple symbol I squint my eyes.

The light was starting to give me a headache so as soon as I put my password in I put it on the lowest brightness level. That's when the texts load in.

Ned: Peter, did u sleep in again?
Ned: Peter?
Ned: The teacher wants to know where u r...
Ned: Peter did u like die?
Ned: Is something wrong?
Ned: People r worried abt u
MJ: Where are you?
Ned: Text me back as soon as you can
Ned: Plz

There are close to a couple hundred more texts and calls but I'm sure Ned would tell me all about them later. Still, I decide I should text him really quick just to let him know I'm not dead yet.

Peter: Hey Ned, it's Peter

I groan and place the phone next to me on the floor and tuck my head between my knees, which only brings back worse memories of when I was living at an orphanage after Aunt May had died. I feel tears forming in the corners of my eyes as my head ache starts pounding.

"Peter?" I hear Bruce's voice over my own thoughts and manage to look up. The door is open, which is allowing bright light flood into the room, and I see he has people standing with him. Dad and Pops.

"I'm over here,"
