Part 1
On a day such as the one in which we are intruding, a sunny, warm day, with a cloudless blue sky and the sound of children giggling, you would never think that what was going to happen...was, well, going to happen. But it did happen, because that's how life goes. Now, imagine the world of Fairy Tail. You see Natsu, literally spitting fire in the guild, arguing with Gray about whatever stupid thing they argued about. Happy is talking with Carla, and if you look closely, you could see him blush, and her smile. Lucy and Levy talk and giggle about what book or fact they found interesting, and everyone is fighting. As you know, this fight was started by Natsu and Gray. Elfman joined in. Someone else joined in. Someone smashed Erza's cake, and, well, you can imagine the rest.
Let's focus on Lucy now. She is our heroine today, for she is one of my favorite characters. One could say Natsu was our main, yet he and Lucy share equal parts. This world may not have been created by me, nor perhaps, the story, for that was given to me, but for now, the relationships in this story will be written by me. In this tale I spin for you, Lucy has an attraction for Natsu, and thus, pays mind to the salmon haired idiot.
Let us watch now as Lucy watches Natsu. Imagine the smile that plays on her lips as Natsu laughs or defends himself against Gray. To our beloved blond, he is the most handsome of men. She notices every subtle smile or chuckle, every insult he hurls, and every time he calls her Luce.
To continue the story, we will move on, for I could go on and on about how Lucy feels for Natsu and what she notices in him. Let us follow Lucy as she walks over to Natsu and questions him, asking if he would like to go on a mission. This draws the attention of Erza, Gray and Happy, but Natsu shakes his head. No, he has to do something first. Asking Happy if he was coming (to which the talking cat replied, "In a minute") he heads out the door.
Now we're going to forget Lucy for a minute and follow Natsu. He left the guild, without waiting for Happy, and ran off into the forest, being the idiot he was and forgetting Happy would have no idea where he'd gone. No one knew where he was going, and maybe not even himself. He just followed his nose, which smelled food nearby. Now, we all know Natsu is not smart. I've stated it a few times already, and we're only 451 words into this story. And his lack of thought, was his downfall. He ran straight into the trap, and was clouded in darkness before Happy had even left the guild. Yes, that's how our precious idiot was taken captive and dragged who knows where.
Back to Lucy, we see as she watches Happy fly in, telling everyone he cannot locate Natsu (maybe not in those exact words, as Happy would not be intelligent enough to use those words).
"There's something on your back," Lucy says, taking notice of the note on Happy's back. Watch as she reads it, and turns deathly pale and runs to Makarov, muttering nonsense and telling him they had to help. To keep you from suspense, I'll read to you the contents of this note. We've taken the dragon slayer. And that was it. A simple note to mock Fairy Tail and Natsu, who had been caught so easily, and Happy, who had the note stuck to him without his notice. Picture the person you like getting taken. Then picture Lucy. You get the picture. She was not calm, and since we follow Lucy now, we're following her all the way. So, I suppose we're ending this here because she fell unconscious right in front of us. We watch for a minute longer, and the guild erupts into chaos. Perfect time to take our leave, I'd say.
Join me again, as soon as one of our characters awakens, would you? I'd love to have you again.
This is mostly an experiment. The rest of this book isn't going to be written like this. Hope you liked it, and please tell me if I should continue.
