Sydney raised her eyebrow. 

"Are you sure? I mean, he could be trying to trick us." She inquired.

I nodded, knowing Liam in normal life. 

I turned back to face Liam, still in a fencing stance. 

Liam was frowning and peering down at the floor.

"Geez, Lucy, were did all this blood come from? Am I in the ladies room or something? (I'm sorry, I had to)

I snickered. "Well, yeah. But it's not from that. Actually, you were bleeding pretty profusely... and you were attacking Sydney and me."

His eyes widened and he looked genuinely surprised.

"I did what?" He said mouth open.

I bit my lip and nodded. "Yeah.... long story short, that sub we had today turns people evil by touching them, and then have them fight anyone who stands in his way. You got transformed, and began mauling us. We didn't know what to do, so we started attacking back, and that's how you got injured."

His face turned scarlet red and he looked down at his feet.

"Well, um, I'm not really sure what to say, except for I'm so sorry. You know I'd never do that if I was myself."

Sydney muttered under her breath "One can never be to sure with you."

I turned back to face her and slugged her in the arm again.

"Ouch!" 

I smiled and looked back at Liam.

"Well, anyway, I'm sorry." He said enveloping us in a hug.

Sydney pushed away and we all separated. 

"Well?" Said Liam.

"Let's go find Jack and kill that psychotic substitute." I said grinning. 

We all walked out of the bathroom with our heads in the clouds.
