[Chapter 41]
Hyunjin stood up.
"Sir I don't feel well." He said.
Han turned to face him, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Head down to the nurses office. Take, ah Mr Han with you." He said, ushering them off.
I leaned forward.
"What do you mean 'mission complete'?" I asked.
Jungkook turned.
"Namjoon Hyung finally found me these drinks I've been wanting for ages. That's all." He said, waving me away.
Weird.
As we left class, I noticed Hyunjin's car was gone.
All five of them had left.
Not even Gabs had hung around, and she usually did, so she could annoy the juniors and gain a few extra dollars.
Jungkook and Taehyung were hovering around, as Ji Woo was busy interrogating her boyfriend.
"What do you mean you can't come over? You promised!" She whined.
"I'm sorry babe, Namjoon Hyung needs me back. I promise I'll make it up to you." He pouted, giving her a kiss.
Jungkook was pulling at his sleeve.
"Hyung come on let's go."
Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"Okay, okay, gosh."
With that they left.
Ji Woo came running over to me.
"He's so mean! We had a whole date night tonight we had been planning for months!" She whined.
"I'm sure it's just to do with their business. I don't trust boys. That's why I always tell you that you should date a girl." I joked, pulling her to the car.
"Come on, let's head home."
When the boys arrived home, it was a mess.
Changbin had Felix in his arms, pulling him inside.
Lee Know was hovering over Bang Chan, who was holding his head, guilty tears running down his face.
Meanwhile Gabs just stared.
Kara's room was empty. She was gone.
Gabs had looked in every nook and cranny of the house, refusing to believe it.
They had lost her again.
"Guys.." Jeongin started, emerging from Bang Chan's office, a note in hand.
Bang Chan looked up through his tears, eyes red and puffy.
"What is that?" He asked through sniffles.
"A note. From Kara.." Jeongin started.
"Read it." Lee Know said sharply, helping Bang Chan to stand up.
His leader was a mess, and it was killing him.
Jeongin just nodded, taking a deep breath, as he unfolded the paper, and started reading.
Kara wrote hastily, not caring if it was messy. They would get the message.
"They're going to hate me.. fuck." She grumbled, crumpling the paper into a small ball, throwing it onto the floor, and writing a new one.
"Okay, okay, let's take a different approach.." She whispered.
"Dear boys and Gabs,
I think if you're reading this, then you know what happened.
Yes, BTS took me. Please don't take it out on them. I know, I'm betraying you, and I'm sorry.
I understand if you hate me, if you want nothing to do with me. I would feel the same.
To be honest with you, I was suffocating.
Being trapped alone in a house with friends might seem like a dream, but it was a nightmare.
It felt like all those years ago when my freedom was stripped from me.
It was ridiculous, really. A warning would have been enough.
I'm not going to tell her anything, but I am going to get my answers.
I love you guys, so please don't hate me.
This is killing me to do, but I was in pain, and now I hope I'm not.
I'm sorry.
- Kara :)
Bang Chan just stood there, staring at the floor.
"So she- left on purpose?" He stumbled on his words, leaning into Lee Know for support.
Felix was unconscious on the couch, a damp rag on his forehead.
"Hyung, I know it's a lot to take in." Lee Know said, not really believing it himself.
"But people move on, I suppose. We tried."
"Asshole." Gabs muttered. "She goes and leaves me alone to clean up after all these boys. How rude."
Felix woke up slowly, blinking tiredly.
"Kara.." He half croaked out.
Jeongin was about to speak, but Bang Chan stopped him.
"Felix, she left us. It's okay- it- it was her decision." He said slowly.
"What?" Felix said.
"She was being suffocated by me, being here. She asked them to help her." He said, nodding to Jeongin, as he handed his note to his sick friend.
Felix only laughed sadly, not wanting to read the note.
"Well, we must've fucked up."
When Kara woke up, she expected a dark room, or a creepily bright white room again, and her hands and feet to be in chains.
But it was the opposite.
The room had a whole red aesthetic, the walls patterned with a wallpaper of roses, all the furniture a dark red, almost brown colour.
The bed frame was made of dark oak, the bed spread a solid grey, sheets a dark red to match the pillows.
She looked down, to see she was dressed pyjamas, of which were red with white spots.
"Quite a lot of red." She mumbled, standing up as she walked around the room.
There was a door in the corner, and she opened it to see a modern bathroom, with her own shower and toilet.
There was towels, and a small amount of necessities.
She was going to have to ask them to buy more- no, she could buy them.
She walked to the other door along the wall, opening it to a wardrobe.
There was a singular change of clothes.
Wear these and come downstairs. You need to go shopping, since we didn't know your size.
She rolled her eyes, taking the clothes down, searching the draws for lingerie, before getting changed.
It was just a ridiculously sized T-shirt, and baggy tracksuit pants.
A pair of shoes identical to her old ones sat in the corner of the room, as she pulled them on, and left out the third door, the one that led to the hall.
Photos and paintings covered majority of the wall space, of the boys together, or paintings of the members.
All Kara knew was that the paintings were most likely very expensive.
She followed the hall until she reached a flight of stairs, heading down, to be met with Jungkook.
She tensed up, stepping back.
"Um.. there was a note telling me to go to the kitchen." She said awkwardly.
"No need to act like I'm going to kill you, chill." Jungkook chuckled.
"Follow me."
So she followed as he walked down another hallway, and into the kitchen.
He waved her goodbye, as Kara hung around awkwardly.
Jimin and Namjoon walked in shortly afterward.
"I'm glad you finally woke up, Princess." Jimin smirked.
Kara rolled her eyes, stopping halfway.
She was in their house. So she should probably be more respectful.
"Kara, we understand you only recently woke up, but since this is our home, I'm just going to set a few ground rules. Nothing major, okay?" Namjoon started.
Kara nodded.
"Well firstly, we're enrolling you at the school again. But- we will have your classes rearranged so at least one of us is with you. We don't know how your group will respond to this, so we have to be vigilant."
The girl just nodded, sitting down as he did.
Jimin walked around the kitchen whilst they spoke, humming away casually.
"Secondly, if you want access to our weapon storage, you have to ask one of us for permission. I just- I don't know whether to trust you or not fully yet. I hope you understand." He smiled awkwardly.
"I do, don't worry." She responded.
"Thirdly, you have the right to leave this house whenever. You don't really have to ask permission, but I ask you avoid your members for awhile. As much as you will want to talk to them, it might make this situation worse."
"I know. Thank you so much." Kara said, keeping her eyes down.
"Actually can I ask something?" She said.
"Hm?" Namjoon asked, as he stood up.
"Can I- look at your files on the Y/N case? I was interrupted last time." She asked.
Namjoon smiled. "Of course. You can read whatever files you want."
As he left, Jimin turned to the girl.
"Wanna go shopping?"
