~Seto's POV~

I hate needles...I've been in a lab before and I rather not stay much longer.

"Ow! You said it wouldn't hurt you liar!" Summer yells as one of the scientists poke her with a needle.

"I said it wouldn't hurt for long." The scientist retorts.

There are three of them so far, probably more. The first one I think said his name is Ryan, the second said her name is Paris, and that last one said his name is Trent. Ryan likes to use sarcasm a lot, you can't really tell if he's serious or not. Paris is actually pretty nice, laughs a lot too. Trent is-

"You sir are derogatory! How do you sleep at night." Creme yelled at Trent, for what reason I have no idea.

"Alright, the guard is outside waiting for you, you're all free to go...except...what was your name again?" Paris says, looking at me at the end.

"Seto, why do I have to stay!?" I start yelling.

"No questions, everyone else leave!" Trent glares at the others, who rush out with no hesitation.

Great.

I stay silent as Ryan gets a new needle out and starts filling it.

"What is that?" I ask.

Ryan doesn't answer, just continues to fill the needle. When he's done, he comes over to me. Paris and Trent stand beside me.

"I'm sorry, but this might hurt for awhile." He says before the two beside me grab my arms and force me backwards on my back. Ryan quickly jabs the needle in my arm and backs away. My arm suddenly feels like it's on fire and I scream, Paris and Trent back away slowly. The pain slowly makes it's way up to my shoulder and too my head. I hold my head in pain and continue to scream. Darkness soon overtakes my vision and I pass out.

~Penguin's POV~

I hate needles! I hate labs! I hate scientists! I hate this place...and I hate Creme's attitude...No...I hate her completely.

The guard guides us back to our cell quickly and waits till we are in and the door is closed to tell us stuff.

"So, you don't have to worry about staying in your cell 24/7 okay? There's a schedule you have to follow! Each morning you'll head down to breakfast. Then you'll have the freedom to go outside, in the fenced in area of course. Lunch, then back to cells. And of course you'll only be let out if they need you down in the lab. At night there's lights out, which means these lights out here are turned off and you are to be in bed! If you're in the halls without a guard we are ordered to shoot. Got it?" He explains.

We all nod are head, no one really in the talking mood.

They'll shoot us!? Ouch...I hope there's a nurse or something here. Wait...how are they gonna shoot us? Squids can't shoot guns! Or can they...?

"Question!" I yell, raising my hand.

"Yes, what is your question?" He asks.

"Why is it so cold in here?" I ask, now realizing how cold it really is.

"It's because we're so close to bedrock, and the closer you are to it the colder it gets." He explains.

"We won't freeze to death down here will we!?" Suddenly becoming panicked.

"You shouldn't, no." He says before leaving.

"How does he know we won't!?" Mitch exclaims.

"It sounds like he's not sure if we will or not." Quentin says, sitting down on the cold floor.

I do the same and sit down, pulling my knees close to me. I start to think about all the bad things that could happen to us, the worst possible outcomes.

Are we gonna die down here...? ARE THEY GONNA DO EXPERIMENTS ON US!? Sean never let me get blood tests done or anything like that, what if there's something wrong with me!?

~Seto's POV~ (That's a lot of POVs...)

"That's weird..." Someone says, my eyes are closed so I couldn't see them.

"What's weird Paris?" Someone else says, I slowly open my eyes, quickly closing them when the light hurts them. I keep doing that repeatedly till I can open my eyes without the lights hurting me.

"This blood sample...its...different?" The girl who spoke first explains.

"Different? Who's is it?" A guy comes up beside her and looks at a computer screen.

"It's one of those girls, I think her name was...Penguin?" She tells the boy.

Penguin...that name sounds familiar...

I stop paying attention to their conversation when I notice my head is hurting really badly. I hold my hands out but they're suddenly stopped by glass, I look around, seeing that I am in a round glass tube of some sort.

Where am I?

One of the three people out there sees I'm awake, one of the boys specifically. The boy grabs something off a counter and comes over to me, I quickly back up. The boy gets on his knees and smiles at me, "Hey, you're awake. I don't know if you remember me but my name is Kyle, don't worry I won't hurt you. I know you're confused and it's okay." He explains.

Kyle suddenly puts something up to the glass, a mirror, I get closer to it and just stare at it. The thing that shocked me is the cat ears on my head. The cat ears suddenly flatten against my head and I back away again, quickly hugging my knees. Kyle takes the mirror away, but I catch a glimpse of the hood behind me before he does and pull it over my head.

What's going on...I'm scared...what did they do to me!?
