Annabeth

I embraced him in a hug. I missed him so much. I missed his ocean scent and those sea green eyes always filled with mischief. He kissed my cheek and said he missed me too.

"I missed you so much Annie." He grinned

I glared at him. I hate being called Annie. But I was used to Thalia calling me that every day.

"You can leave now." I smiled and Percy pretended to be hurt by putting his hand on his heart.

"That hurt wise girl!"  He smiled and I laughed.

But then Percy turned his smile into a frown. "Percy? What's wrong?" I was getting worried. "Nothing..let's just go meet the others I'm sure they missed me." Percy began walking towards the five. I stood there trying to find a reasonable explanation to why Percy is having a mood change. All the others hugged Percy and told him if he was ok. I was still concerned. I walked over to Percy and glared at him.

"Where's the Percy I know and love? Also what happened while you were gone? What did they do to you?" I started demanding answers because I knew they did something to Percy. They wouldn't just let him free for no reason? Right?

"The Percy is right here. They just..talked to me that's all. Nothing too serious. I'm fine, really Annabeth. I just missed you." Percy didn't sound like he was okay.

"Fine. But I'll find out sooner or later." I warned him. He smiled at me and began walking to his cabin. Did he just walk away from me?

"What happened?" Thalia put a hand on my shoulder.

"They did something to Percy. I don't know what but Percy isn't acting the same." A tear strolled down my cheek.

"It's ok Annie, he's a tough man, at least kelp head came back in one piece right?" Thalia tried to reassure me.

"I'll go talk to Chiron about this, I know Percy is hiding something." I began walking to the big house. I need Percy back. I don't know what they did to him but this is not normal.

Percy

Of course I missed Annabeth. I missed her princess golden curls and her lemon scent she always had. Her grey eyes so fragile and intimidating. But I couldn't stand there and see the last of her. I know she was going to figure out what was wrong with me. Of corse she could. She's a daughter of Athena for crying out loud!! I sighed while remembering all the work I have to do now. How was I supposed to figure out the new prophecy? I needed a plan and it had to be a good one.

Annabeth

"What if he is in danger?!?" I yelled at Chiron. He wouldn't cooperate he just kept trying to tell me he was okay.

"Annabeth, Percy is too loyal to do anything bad to us, also he is probably upset because they hurt him. Just let him recover and everything will be fine." Chiron's words weren't helping.

"If he's hurt then we have to help him!" me and Chiron kept arguing until I felt another person in the room with us. I looked around trying to see what was there. For a second I thought it was Nico, he could shadow travel.
Chiron felt the same thing and starting looking around.

"Nico?" I asked into the darkness.

Suddenly we heard a crash next to Mr. D's office.
"Could you not be so clumsy!!" We heard someone whispering in frustration. I recognized that voice. Thalia.

"Thalia and Nico would you please come out and show yourselves, along with anyone else that is with you." Chiron instructed.

"Ugh great you got us caught. Way to go Leo." I heard Jason's voice.

Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Leo, and Nico All walked up and looked down in embarrassment.

"Ugh I hate shadow traveling." I heard Chiron curse under his breath.

"Sorry Chiron. We were just worried about Percy. He's been stubborn and ignoring all of us. There is surely something wrong but he won't even tell us." Nico answered quickly.

I took a deep breath. At least I'm not the only one suspecting Percy's behavior. "See! I told you Chiron! We are all worried about him." I looked at Chiron hopefully.

"We will discuss this matter later, I have a meeting with Mr. D and it is serious. I better get going before Mr. D starts getting drunk." Chiron got up and began walking away.

"Since when was there an important meeting with Chiron and Mr. D?" Leo asked.

"I don't know. Let's just go check on Percy." I wanted to see him right this moment.

Percy

I have been sitting at a table inside the Poseidon table for hours. I'm trying to figure out a plan. I'm not always good at making plans. Annabeth always figures them out for me. Annabeth. Annabeth began going through my mind and replaying how she always laughs and how heart broken she will be when I'm betraying camp. But it's for a good reason. I can't let my mother die in front of my eyes. I put my head in my hands thinking and getting upset with my life and how it's frustrating to deal with this. Mother. Annabeth. Camp. Evan. George. Too much for my mind. Just then, I heard a knock on my door. I got up and began cleaning up the papers so no one will know. I finally answered the door and saw Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, and Frank, and Leo. They all looked at me with worry.

"Yes? What do you guys need?" I snapped. I was getting frustrated because they wouldn't leave me alone.

"Percy we are trying to help you." Annabeth began walking towards me.

"I'm fine how many times do I have to say that?" I snapped.

"Bro, chill. You aren't acting like your usual self so we got worried. No need to get mad." Jason kept trying to calm me down.

"Well I'm fine. Now leave me alone." I snapped again.

"Percy what is up with you! We are trying to help don't you understand that? Every since you left you kept acting frustrated and ignored us. What happened to 'I miss you too Annabeth' because it sure doesn't act like it! I don't know what happened to the Percy I know, because you were always happy and smiling. What did they do to you?!?" Annabeth snapped at me and tears began strolling down her face. She stomped away, crying with Piper and Hazel running behind her.

"What is up with you?!" Frank began yelling at me.

"I didn't mean to make her cry! I just need alone time!" I yelled back.

"That's your girlfriend! You know better to avoid her and be so intimidating! Why would you make her cry like that?" Jason joined the yelling.
Hazel began running back and looked at me with disgust. Then she slapped me. I never knew Hazel slapped that hard.

"What was that for!" I yelled at Hazel.

"FOR BEING A TERRIBLE BOYFRIEND AND TREATING US LIKE WE WERE NOTHING." Hazel snapped and took Franks hand and walked away.

"That's my cue to leave..." Leo began walking with Frank and Hazel.

I looked at Jason. He was looking at the ground. He then looked up at me with disappointment. "Get it together. We are trying to help. You can't avoid us forever." With that, Jason walked away. I stood there dumbstruck. What did I just do? Why did I do that? Tears began to roll down my cheek and I began to cry. I slammed the door closed and went to cry into my pillow. What have I done? How am I supposed to save my mother? I hate being a demigod.
