Percy

If you think that Echidna's fat belly wouldn't  be that bad, you are so very wrong. Its a horror movie flashing in my eyes down here. It's absolutely horrible. Green goo is all over the place. Sliding down her throat, there was sharp teeth pointing out of it. Now someone tell me, who has sharp teeth in their throat? NO ONE. I carefully avoided from being sliced in half. But I was pretty sure that there is acid in her stomach waiting to evaporate me. When I saw an ending down her throat, I began to panic. What do I land on?

"Someone help us!!" I heard cries from bellow.

"We are trapped!" Another wail called.

"What kind of monster eats chipotle?!?" I heard another yell.

While I was waiting to fall in acid, I hit a hard hard surface. Let me tell you, it most certainly wasn't soft. I groaned for a minute and looked around. Campers I knew looked at me with hope. Okay, I knew I was a leader and all, but don't expect me to help you get out of a gross stomach. We were standing on some kind of flat surface surrounded by green acid. Not the best landing, but I'll take it. I got up, painfully might I add, and wiped my shirt from the dust. Or should I say, weird green things that attached to my shirt. I found some hunters of Artemis and campers.

"Alright then. What now oh great and wise leader." A hunter rolled her eyes.

"Well, um...we should try to find something that can get us out of here?" It sounded more of a question than a statement.

"Perseus, look around you. Does it look like there is something useful here?" The hunter made me feel like a complete idiot.

"Well we should.." I was cut off by this big "SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

A huge cut came down through Echidna's stomach. The acid began to rumble and I saw gold ichor seep out of that big slash. Who ever did that, is a genius. Now I had a plan going.

"Alright people here's what we got to do." I started explaining my plan, one step at a time. The hunters weren't impressed but the campers were happy. Then, another crash came from behind us. A groan echoed throughout the belly.

"Ugh slimy mutated fat old lady." I knew that voice.

"Well well. Thalia Grace decided to join the party. Welcome. We were just about to escape. Care to help?" I snickered.

Thalia sent a murderous glare towards me, then looked at her hunters.

"Girls! You're okay! I'm very glad. Now tell me what did this boy say to you?" Thalia grinned.

"Nothing, Thalia. But we could use your help." A hunter responded to Thalia.

"Very well then. Let's get out of here." Thalia came walking towards me.

I repeated the plan to her, and we began going through phase one. Find anything you can in this belly. We circled around the little flat island and just found plastic plates or a half eaten burrito. And if you are lucky, you could find some metal that Echidna has devoured. I figured I could use the metal as a boat through the acid so we can jump into the cut. Then we are free.   After looking for 5 minutes I already began thinking of how to make a boat with our stuff we gathered. Now I am no Hephaestus kid, but I am smart during situations like this. Using a empty box from chipotle, a half eaten burrito, and some metal scraps, we eventually created a boat thingy.

"Alright everyone. All Aboard!" I yelled. The campers began getting into the boat thingy. I guess it was okay.

Once all the campers and hunters got it, I went after them and pushed the boat from the flat surface. I took a piece of metal and began paddling towards the slash from the stomach. Once we got close enough, we used the half eaten burrito as a bridge near the cut. We all voted for Thalia to go first. If this doesn't go well, we can say bye bye to Thalia. She actually volunteered to go first. She wants her hunters safe. Wow I really feel the love, Thalia. As Thalia carefully crept up the burrito, she plucked her hand through.

"I feel it. The outside! Okay I'm going through." Thalia stepped in, which got weird green stuff all over her. We heard a yell, and a grunt.

"All clear." I heard.

"Alright everyone. One by one lets get out of this dungeon." I began sending campers and then the hunters. Once I was the only one, I decided we could hurt Echidna from the inside. But it would be a risky move, considering me not getting out. But I would do anything to hurt this ugly enemy. I paddled the boat to another side of her stomach. I put the burrito up as a ladder once again. I went up and slashes with Riptide. A large yell echoed through her stomach. That means it was working.

"ROOOAAARRRR"

I better keep going. I went to different sides, slashing Riptide all over the stomach. I knew it wouldn't do much but I could try. What worried me though is that the acid began to bubble. Is she hungry? I also have noticed that it was rising. Fast. Which means I got to hurry before I fall into the green gooey acid. While I was cutting down this long line against her stomach, that's when the acid got haywire. It started to spit acid in the air. I don't think that is supposed to happen... Acid drops began burning their way through the metal boat. I quickly paddled towards the deep gash someone made and put up the burrito bridge.

"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

That is not a good sign. The acid began rising more faster and began spitting more acid in the air. I have got to get out of here. Once I began going across the burrito, the acid quickly began swallowing it. Trying to avoid getting swallowed, I jumped right back in the boat. There goes my escape plan. I began thinking what to do. Usually Annabeth is the one making plans so I'm not messing things up. I decides I would make a jump for it. Pretty stupid, huh? I quickly paddled the boat as close as possible. The boat was about to get swallowed in acid. I had to be quick. I took deep breaths while the boat shook and began sinking. I went to the edge of the boat and jumped.

Percy

The fates must have loved me at that moment because I successfully went to the gash. I was will in the stomach but I held on for dear life before I could slip. I carefully went right out, before getting devoured by acid. I began free falling towards the ground. THE GROUND. I groaned and looked at the floor.

"IM ALIVE!" I yelled and began kissing the ground.

Once I was done, I got up and looked around. Everyone was looking at me weirdly. Including Echidna. Wow did her stomach look awful. Gold ichor was all over the place while there were cuts everywhere.

"You got lucky this time Perseus, but I will kill you and all of your friends!!" Echidna roared.

"Someone get this lady a breath mint. Woo weee that stinks." I swatted my hand around my nose. Echidna snarled and continued to slap stuff with the tentacle that were in her mouth.

"PERCY!" Annabeth tackled me to the ground.

"Oh my gods you are ok! Once everyone was out I started freaking out when you didn't come out and we saw cuts forming all over her and what were you thinking?!?!!" Annabeth cried. She hugged me.

"Sorry wise girl." I got up and hugged her back.

"Quit huggin and start killin!" Thalia hollered at us while she was shooting arrows at the tentacles.

I laughed and let go of Annabeth. We went back into the fight.

"What's the plan?" I asked Annabeth. She shrugged.

"Wow. The great Annabeth Chase doesn't have a plan? Has the world gone wild?!?" I was actually shocked.

"I would like to see you come up with a plan to defeat Echidna." Annabeth glared at me.

"Alright, I get it." I sighed. Annabeth smiles in victory and she started thinking. I knew she was thinking cause she has this thinking face. It was adorable. Her nose all scrunched up and her grey eyes deep in thought.

"We need help from a god." Annabeth started tapping her finger to her chin.

"Isn't that against the rules?" I asked.

"How do you expect us to defeat her?" Annabeth raised one eyebrow.

"Defeated once again." I sighed.

"Which god?" I asked.

"You ask too many questions. But, I actually don't know..." Annabeth was concentrating. Then we heard a huge clap from the sky above.

"Zeus?..." I asked.

"Impossible." Annabeth looked at the sky. Everyone looked up, and saw a ray of light.

"Hello, demigods." Hestia had her warm motherly smile.

"Lady Hestia?" All the demigods bowed.

"Oh great. What are you going to defeat me with? The power of friendship and love?" Echidna snorted.

Hestia just smiled. "Hope and kindness." Hestia spread out her hands and light energy came out, seeping into our skin. Suddenly I had this big feeling that we could defer Echidna easily. I have lovely Annabeth and the campers and hunters and Party Ponies and Tyson! We could do this easily. I felt this power of energy run through me, like I'm having a sugar rush.

Water exploded from all directions aiming towards Echidna. A small hurricane blasted from the towers and I joined the wave surge. A crackle of lightning came along with the hurricane. I pushed it towards Echidna, as she fell over. When I had no energy left, I came back down. All the campers, hunters, cyclops, and Party Ponies began rushing towards Echidna while she was on the ground. She hissed and tried getting up, but couldnt.

"I don't think so. Maybe you should stay down for a little." Hestia smiled and pushed Echidna deeper into the earth. Everyone shot arrows or cut big gashes or just trampled over her. The cyclops were doing random things and picked up cars or trees and threw them at Echidna. 

"Back away children." Hestia warned. We all moved back and watched her do her magic. She took light out of Echidna. Then she pushed her deep inside the earth, where Echidna was no where to be seen.

"I have took the hope out of her so she will have no desire to hurt Earth again." Hestia looked at me and frowned.

"I'm sorry Perseus. Sometimes I can't control the fates." Hestia looked sad. Annabeth was giving a worried glance at me. Wait, what is going on?

Suddenly, I knew what she was talking about. I felt a huge bite running down my back. Ouch. That is one long bite. But the bad thing was that it was an Empousia. Which means it was poison. I dropped to my knees and screamed. The poison was too much. It's like someone curving into your skin with two sharp daggers across your back. Hestia looked away and she looked ashamed. Annabeth yelled and killed the Empousia right in the heart.

"SOMEONE HELP HIM AND TAKE HIM TO THE APOLLO CAMPERS!" Annabeth was crying at this point. I could feel the poison running through my veins, slowly and painfully killing me. I took deep breaths, trying to be tough in front of everyone, but I guess it doesn't work for me.

People rushed to my side and quickly dragged me to the buildings. I lost the energy of hope. Every time someone pulled on a part of my body, it would explode in pain and I would yell.

Annabeth walked aside me trying to cool me down, while she was crying. Once they got me in the little alley way to the Apollo campers, I was grateful. The Apollo kids carefully took off my shirt, and examined my back. I could tell it was bad because nobody said anything. All I heard was Annabeth's cries hovering over me. I saw black dots dancing in my eyes and I felt the urge to sleep.

"I think I'm going to take a little nap...." I landed face first into the ground and passed out.

HEY GUYS! I'm back! School started and everything is so complicated! I hope I can update faster than I usually do. To be honest, this is my favorite chapter! Should I make Percy die in this story? I REALLY DONT WANT TO DO IT. I want Percy to liiiive. But, please comment! THANK YOUZ
