Annabeth

If anyone said this would be easy, they're wrong. I was constantly fidgeting with my dagger. I was terrified. For Percy of course. I don't want to watch him suffer the same way and I can't afford to loose him again. While the sun began to set, New York was mostly empty. Most people left while I still saw some New Yorkers get comfy in their homes. Good luck with that. Everyone was still in positions but just laying on the floor here and their. I heard complaints from the Aphrodite cabin about 'it's too uncomfortable! I need a bed not a hard rock floor!' and also a 'I have to fix my hair in the morning!' . Percy was sitting on the side walk staring into nothing. He was probably worried as much as I was. I walked over to him and sat by him. I placed my head on his shoulder and scooted closer. Percy wrapped an arm around me.

"Everything ok wise girl?" Percy asked.

"Perfectly fine. It's not like we have a war battle tomorrow in the morning and my boyfriend might die. Otherwise, I'm perfectly calm." I said sarcastically. Percy took my hand and started rubbing circles on it.

"I'll be fine Annabeth. We had battles before what's so different?" Percy asked

"Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that Chiron was almost CRYING when you left. Somethings going to happen to you and I just c-cant loose y-you a-again." I sobbed into his shoulder. Percy wrapped me into a hug and kissed my head.

"Hey, Annabeth no matter what I'll be by your side. Nothing will happen, I can handle it." Percy lifted up my chin and kissed me softly on my lips. I kissed back, filled with passion mixed with sadness. This could probably be the last time I kissed Percy Jackson. He pulled away and started playing with my hair. I laid my head on his lap and my eyelids began getting heavy. I sniffled, trying to take my emotions away. When my eye lids closed, I felt lips touching my forehead. I smiled and went to sleep.

Percy

Seeing Annabeth that worried last night gave me nightmares. What if I get tortured again? That won't be great. This battle might be worse than the others, considering the monsters getting stronger.

I woke up to a huge roar. I shot straight up. Annabeth began stirring away, she probably heard the roar as well. I gently shook her awake. She jolted up. I got up and began waking everyone. Hunters of Artemis were already on guard. No surprise there. Once I knew everyone was awake, we stood on guard. I jogged towards Annabeth and gave her a kiss on the cheek, for good luck. I took out Riptide and uncapped it. I just hope the other cabins were ready for this..

"ROOOOAAAARRR!"

Suddenly a huge pack of monsters came running this way. I saw empousia, hydra's, cyclops, hellhound's, Gorgon's, Harpies, manticore's, The Minotaur, HECK even Echidna and the Chimera were there!

"Great" I muttered to myself. The mother of all monsters?!! The echidna! Are you kidding?

"Well Perseus. Let's see how you'll fight this time." Echidna hissed. The chimera barked in response.

"We'll see." I hissed.

Soon all of the monsters came running towards us. My main goal was to get to Echidna. Hellhound's came barking towards me. I slashed Riptide and made them split into half, resulting into dust.

"Demigod for lunch!" A cyclops came running towards me.

"Come on one eyed freak!" I yelled.

I charged towards the cyclops and began slashing Riptide. He slapped his hand which pushed me a few feet away. I got back up and charged again. I cut its arm, but it wasn't much damage. The cyclops grabbed me by his hand. He picked me up and studied me.

"Am I really that attractive?" I chuckled.

"ROOAAR!" The cyclops threw me. I went flying back a few meters. I landed in my back, which wasn't a good experience. I heard Annabeth yelling my name. I almost forgot about her. My back hurt like Tartarus, but I had to keep going. I saw Annabeth fighting against a empousia. Those weren't easy I would say. She was looking hot, slashing her dagger and doing pretty well. I got up and charged back at the cyclops. I slashed a deep gash on his foot.

"GAH!" The cyclops picked up his foot and began bouncing.

"OW OW OW OW" I took this as a distraction. I ran right back and slashed Riptide against his face. He turned into dust. I felt a chill run down my back, so I turned around and found a gorgon. I stabbed it in the heart, then it turned to dust. The Hunters of Artemis were doing their best with taking down Echidna. The other monsters and The Chimera were attacking a small group of hunters and the Aphrodite cabin. Nico had a bunch of skeletons charging a group of empousia. Annabeth was doing well, now attacking a hellhound.

"SCREEEEEEEE" I covered my ears, blasting because of the terrible screech. Harpies were all over the place screeching the worst they could. I saw Thalia shooting some Harpies down.

"ROAAAR!" I turned around once again, and saw a hydra. This won't be easy..

I began running towards the hydra. The heads began snapping at me. I had the urge to cut off their heads, but that wouldn't help, but only make it 10x worse. I ducked behind a car that was on the road. The heads were spewing out fire. I summoned some water from the pipes below the city. I used the water as a shield. I walked towards the hydra, blasting water balls towards its mouth. One of the water balls hit one of the head's mouth. It tried spitting out fire, but with no luck. I kept on throwing and throwing, until I made all the water balls hit their mouths. Once I succeeded, I  jumped at the hydra and slashed a deep gash in it's chest. It roared in pain. The heads began snapping back at me. I backed away, before they could gobble me up. I ducked behind another car.

"What's the plan?" Annabeth's voice made me have a little hope. She looked tired and she was panting hard.

"Stay here and try to gain your energy. You look tired already." I pointed to her shirt filled with monster dust.

"I'm fine." Annabeth got up with her dagger covered with dust as well.

"You go left, I go right. And Percy please don't aim the heads." Annabeth went running to the right.

I went running towards the left. The heads got confused. Two heads came for me while one head went for Annabeth. They tried snapping at me but they had no luck. They can't cut them in half and go there separate ways. Annabeth went running towards the heads. She was on it's back and she stabbed as much as she could. The hydra roared in pain. I threw a rock that was at the floor at a head. It looked at me deadly.

"Over here fire spitting beast!" (A/N: Bare with me here, I couldn't think of anything else 😬)

All the heads looked at me and began snapping at me. I climbed up its leg and went on it's back as well. It was like riding a bull. It kept wiggling trying to get us off.

"We have to tie the head into a knot. That's the only way." Annabeth panted while holding on for dear life.

"Alright then." I grinned. I ran up one of its long necks. The head snapped back and roared right in my ear drum. I jumped onto one of the other head's neck. The other head that I was previously on came towards me and tried biting me, but only biting the neck. I ran towards the other neck. The two heads I was on came at the third head. I jumped towards the other head. Annabeth was doing the same as I was. Soon the heads were getting tangled up. While the hydra was heading towards a building, I took the advantage to take Annabeth and jump off of it. I grabbed Annabeth by the hip and ran towards the building. I jumped off one of the neck's and soared through the sky. I used my body as a shield for Annabeth. I slammed right onto the roof. My back pain was definitely getting worse. I groaned in pain. Annabeth got up and helped me up. She noticed how my reaction to my back was bad.

"Percy are you alright?!?" Annabeth helped me up. I groaned in response and slowly got up. We still weren't down with the hydra.

"Any idea how to get down?" Annabeth asked.

I knew exactly what to do. I whistled. I waited for about a minute until my favorite Pegasus came into view.

What's up boss?

Hey Blackjack. Care to help?

Sure thing. Hop on.

Blackjack landed perfectly onto the roof.

Show Off

Hey I have to make a good entrance for your girlfriend, boss

Shut up

Blackjack snickered. I grabbed Annabeth and got her on. I went up front and we went soaring off. Annabeth was gripping onto my hip. I smiled at the thought. I still saw monsters coming everywhere. We weren't enough. We needed to get more reinforcements. As if right on cue, I heard yelling and whistling. Coming through the road, the Party Ponies arrived. They were obviously drunk, while getting themselves hit by a car that wasn't even moving. They began slamming to monsters, taking down as many as they could.

"Annabeth, I need you to go with BlackJack and see if the others are ok. If the monster attacks weren't very bad, send reinforcements. If their busy leave them. I'll go down and fight." I looked back at Annabeth.

"No! You said we would stay together. What if something happens to you while I'm gone!" Annabeth argued.

"I'll be fine." I kissed her cheek.

Take Annabeth to the others. She will know what to do. Whatever she tells you don't come back. Not until she finished checking the others.

 
Alright boss

I jumped off of Blackjack. I heard Annabeth screaming and telling me I'm stupid. I smiled and grabbed onto the hydra. I landed on it's back. I quickly slashed Riptide against the hydra until it FINALLY turned into dust. I saw campers laying on the floor wounded. We don't have Apollo campers. I scolded myself. I was so stupid. I began collecting bodies and taking them behind a building, far away from the monsters. Hopefully Annabeth will be quick, and come back with Apollo campers. After I tried collecting the wounded I told them help is on the way. I ran out and heard a hissing noise. Empousia. I gripped Riptide and slashed its head off. Then I ran back into the battlefield.

Annabeth

Was Percy always this stupid? What will happen while I'm gone! That seaweed brain doesn't know what he is getting himself into! I lead Blackjack around the Hudson River. There were small attacks here and there. Not much like we had. I checked more around New York. I saw the Rimans here and there fighting off small groups of monsters. But something seemed odd. It wasn't smart if all the monsters would just quickly head to Olympus. It would be smarter to have huge groups around New York and surround it then attack Olympus. I decided to get some Apollo campers along with some Ares kids. I landed BlackJack and got into the small fight. There were hellhound's and harpies here and there but not much. Once most of them were gone, I walked towards the Apollo campers.

"Listen up! There's a whole army of monsters heading for Olympus. We need back up. Apollo campers especially. Along with some Ares kids. Helen, Andrew, Tera, Lily, Sunny, and Ray we need you for the wounded. Clarisse, Matt, Brian, George, and Georgina we need you guys." I announced.

"How exactly will we get there?" Clarisse asked.

"Good question.." I looked at Blackjack. He understood me. He made this huge neighing sound. Soon, a bunch of Pegasi were landing.

"Hop on." I smirked. I got on Blackjack and we went flying. The winged horses followed. Once we reached the battle field I saw everyone suddenly exhausted. There was a lot more to go. I spotted Percy fighting off a hellhound. As we got closer to landing I saw a claw marks slashed against his chest. I gasped and landed. I went running towards Percy. I called over Andrew. I slashed at the hellhound with as much anger as I could. It turned into dust. I looked at Percy and hugged him. He winced, and I quickly apologized. He collapsed on the floor.

"Percy!! You are such an idiot! I told you!" I cried. Andrew came running over. He had a water bottle with him and splashed it all over Percy's chest. It began to heal, and I let out a deep sigh of relief. Then I felt a tingling sensation behind me.

"ANNABETH!" I heard Percy scream, but it was too late. An empousia dug her claws on my back. And might I add, very deeply. I cried out in pain. I fell to the floor right next to Percy. Thankfully he was healed and he got up without pain.

"Let's get her out of here!" I heard Percy's voice. Black spots danced around in my eyes. I felt someone pick me up and run. I didn't know where we were going but I just felt a sharp pain in my back. They put me on the ground softly. I saw other Apollo campers looking after the wounded. I saw Percy's worried face hover over me.

"P-Percy, go to the battlefield, they need you. I'll be f-fi-ne." My eyelids began to get heavy.

"Andrew please take care of her. She needs rest. The other people need me," I didn't hear the rest, as I fully closed my eyes.
