"hey I heard we got a new receptionist." Mike said looking at Sully happily.

"too bad, I liked Susan." Sully said.

"me too.... but I bet the new one will be awesome." Mike smiled. Sully smiled slightly. "lets go meet them!" Mike grinned. Sully chuckled and nodded letting Mike lead the way.

"Monsters Inc. please hold. Monsters Inc. please hold. Monsters Inc. Mr.Waternoose is in a meeting with the board, can I take a message?"

"she has snakes for hair." Mike said softly. Sully shrugged.

"Randall has four arms." Sully said. Mike nodded in agreement and walked up as the lady put the phone down.

"uh, hi." Mike waved. the women looked up.

"hi! can I help you?" she ask.

"nah, Mikey just wanted to come meet you. I'm James Sullivan, you can call me Sully. this is Mike." Sully said.

"hi! I'm Celia. Mr.Waternoose told me so much about you!" Celia grinned shaking Sully's hand quickly, then Mikes.

"um... nice... snakes?" Mike said, they were watching him.

"oh thank you. I just had a hair cut." Celia smiled. Mike's eye widened and he looked at Sully.

"how unfortunate for them." Sully managed after a moment. she laughed slightly, but her and her snakes eyes were on Mike. Sully narrowed his eye's slightly, then ruffled Mikes hair with a smile. "alright, c'mon Mikey. we have to get ready." Sully smiled. Mike nods.

"nice to meet you Celia." Mike smiled.

"bye Mike. bye Sully." Celia smiled, waving. Sully threw his arm around Mike's shoulders, turning to shoot a glare at Celia as they walked. she looked shocked and slightly confused. through out the day Sully caught Celia flirting with Mike. FLIRTING with his boyfriend! the entire building could sense the tension except, of course, Mike who was absolutely oblivious to Celia's obvious flirting. Sully knew Mike was oblivious though, so he kept his temper in check. he kept his hands to himself for the most part, but always made sure to have Mike under his arm when Celia talked to them. Sully sighed slightly as they packed their stuff up to leave.

"I invited Celia over to watch a few movies. she's new to Monstropolis and she doesn't know anyone. I thought I'd be nice if she could relax with us." Mike smiled at Sully.

"Mike, I don't know." Sully said. he really didn't want her to come to their house.

"huh? why not?" Mike ask curiously. Sully couldn't just straight out be an ass to his boyfriend.

"well, she could be a murderer. you don't even know her Mike." Sully said.

"if she's a murderer, I'm sure we can take her." Mike smiled brightly. Sully sighed and gave in.

"okay. okay. okay. fine. she can stay for a few hours, but I wanted to work out this weekend. I need a little practice with the bunk beds." Sully said. Mike grinned.

"thanks Sul! you're awesome!" Mike grinned hugging him and ran off to tell Celia she could come over. Sully sighed, clearly annoyed. he grabbed his and Mike's stuff and followed his energetic boyfriend. "Sully agree'd we'd be glad to have you come over." Mike smiled.

"Sully?" Celia ask clearly confused.

"oh yeah. we've lived together since we met in college. he's my bestfriend." Mike smiled. Celia nodded slightly and smiled.

"alright." she smiled.

"c'mon you two. we don't live too far. hope you don't mind, but we walk to and from work." Sully said. Mike pouted.

"only because you won't get in my car." Mike mumbled. "and you know what that means!" Mike grinned brightly. Sully sighed, he loved Mike really, but sometimes he was such a child. the bigger man allowed his boyfriend to climb on his back. "victory!" Mike smirked at Celia. she giggled and walked with Sully.

"is this normal?" Celia ask.

"oh yeah. he says his legs are too short to make the walk twice a day." Sully said. Celia laughed slightly. Sully carried Mike all the way up to their appartment, throwing him on the couch as soon as they got up there. Mike laughed and got up smiling. Sully headed to their room to shower and change clothes.

"so you guys share this place?" Celia ask.

"yup. we've had this place since we got out of college." Mike smiled. Celia nodded.

"so... what are you doing tomorrow?" Celia ask.

"Sully wants to train." Mike replied.

"oh... um all day?" Celia ask.

"probably thats wha we usually do on our days off. he was a little off his game today." Mike said, sounding worried.

"oh... well what about Saturday?" Celia ask hopefully.

"Sully and I will probably work on cleaning the appartment." Mike said. Celia frowned slightly.

"do you... ever do anything without him?" Celia ask. Mike thought a moment.

"huh... it has been a while since I've done anything alone." Mike said thoughtfully. Sully growled lowly, but put on a smile and walked past Mike ruffling his hair. "hey!" Mike pouted. Sully grinned. "can you stop that?" Mike ask.

"you'd miss it if I did." Sully replied. Mike frowned but knew he was right.

"alright you get set up and pick some movies. I'll get some snacks." Mike smiled, heading for the kitchen. Sully set up the tv, ignoring Celia to the best of his abilities. Sully sat on the couch, leaving a cushion between him and Celia. Mike brought back snacks and put them on the table. "what movie?" Mike ask smiling.

"sit down and find out." Sully grinned and pulled Mike into his lap. Mike laughed and shoved himself free, sitting between Sully and Celia. Celia gave a slightly dirty look to Sully, but it was ignored. Mike cuddled to Sully's side, hugging his waist happily. Sully smiled at him and wrapped an arm around him holding him tightly. he played with Mikes hair and horns gently, out of habit. Mike cuddled to his chest, looking content and half asleep. Celia watched them out of the corner of her eye, unimpressed that her flirting was clearly not working. after two movies Celia said she had to go and left almost as fast as she could. Mike and Sully moved after they left.

*Monday morning*

"I cannot believe you did that! you couldn't do it where my shirt could cover it?" Mike hissed quietly as they walked into their job.

"I told you I'm sorry. I didn't mean to leave it so high up." Sully replied. of course he wasn't sorry, but Mike didn't know that. he couldn't know that Sully had purposefully left the biggest hickie on his neck just above his shirt collar. it was petty, but Sully had to lay claim to Mike some how and PDA around new people made Mike uncomfortable. Celia walked over excitedly, clearly looking to talk to Mike. she paused for a moment upon seeing the mark on his neck, it was impossible to miss.

"hey Mike. hey Sully. how was your week end?" Celia ask, her voice strained.

"it was fun." Mike smiled slightly. "and yours?" Mike ask.

"yeah. same." she smiled. she waved and them and walked off quickly. almost everyine else paid no mind to the mark on Mike's neck, it wasn't the first time they'd see into Mike and Sully's relationship, but it was the funniest and everyone knew why the mark was there, except for Mike of course. Mike was taken and now that stupid receptionist knew even if she didn't understand he belonged to Sully.
