The moment you loose someone, is the moment you miss them the most. That's when you feel like you have lost everything.

Bella

wasn't sure what to feel in that moment. As soon as JJ walked up to them, they all knew. Emily was gone.

She knew she should feel angry with her self. All those years of being a spy. She should have seen it, but she didn't. She should have seen the signs. Saw that there was something wrong, but she didn't. Clearly she had lost her touch. how she got onto the team was a mystery to her at that moment.

She looked around at the team, sure...she hadn't known them very long, but she felt as though her first mission was a failure, and it was.

The man responsible got away and they lost a member of their team.

Bella got up and walked out. The reactions from her team mates were too much to handle, Spencer Reid seemed to have been the one to take it the hardest, even though everyone else were in tears, there was something about Reid that made Bella have to leave the room. This happened every day, someone dies, and in this case, Bella was used to death. How could she not be? Living the life that she had lived up until that moment, there was death all around her.

She walked out to her car and got into the drivers seat. what else could she do? She had only known the woman a couple hours before she had gone rouge and disappeared. She couldn't really blame her, Bella would have done the same thing had it been her, but that was the problem. Bella had not known who the woman was, or anything about her. There was no way that Bella could have predicted that this would happen.

She sighed and started the car. she needed to get out of there. She needed to get home. sleep sounded really good at that moment. She pulled out of the hospital parking lot and made her way home.

Thinking back she probably should have told the team where she was going, but at that moment she really didn't care. They didn't even notice that she had left, it was ok, To be honest she preferred it that way.

She stopped by a McDonald's and picked up a child's happy meal before heading home. The drive home took her maybe 20 minutes. She lived just out side of town. Her home was large, and couldn't be missed, but the team didn't know her address, she was careful to leave that out of her paper work. The only one who knew where she lived was the Director, and even that was one too many people to know where she lived.

She pulled into her garage and killed the engine. She sighed and looked over at the happy meal. she picked it up and made her way into the house.

"I'm home!" Bella called out as she shut the door and walked into the kitchen from the garage door.

She sat down the happy meal and pulled off her jacket. Hearing the tv on in the living room she walked into the living room

and saw a group of teenagers sitting on the floor watching Van Helsing the movie.

"Nico! What have I told you about having friends over when I'm gone!" Bella said exasperatedly as she walked over. She smirked in amusement seeing them all jump and look over at her.

Nico,

the dark haired emo looking boy looked up at her. "ummm" he stared at her blankly.

"No ice cream before dinner, your father will whip us both" Bella said sternly. Nico started to say something which Bella suspected to be 'how did you know?' but she cut him off. "you left evidence" She said wiping the remains off of his face. "speaking of friends...who are they?" Bella questioned as Nico pouted.

"This is Percy" Nico started as he pointed to a dark haired boy with blue eyes.

"Anabeth" he continued as he pointed to a brunette girl.

"This is will" he added guestering to the boy that he was leaning against.

"oh...the boy friend" Bella said teasingly making Nico blush from her words.

"and this is Thalia" he finished pointing to a dark haired girl with a leather jacket on.

They all waved a little awkwardly as they were introduced. Bella couldn't blame them, she would feel just as awkward had she been in their position.

"It's OK that we are here?" the brunette girl, Anabeth, questioned.

"It is" Bella said reassuringly. "Just....keep the ice cream thing a secrete. K" she added.

Percy looked around at the other. "Well I ain't going to say anything" he said and they all agreed.

"I'm going to assume that you are all demi gods?" Bella asked.

"You know?" Will said surprised.

"I baby sit for Hades...I'm pretty sure that I am very well aware" Bella replied as she walked over and sat down on a recliner. "So who are your parents" she added.

They all glanced to each other wondering who was going to start them off.

Percy raised his hand. "well, mine is Poseidon." he replied.

"Apollo" Will said.

"My mother is Athena" Anabeth spoke up.

"Zeus" Thalia was the last to speak. Bella made a face at her answer.

"Oh I feel sorry for you" Bella commented. "He is an ass" she said.

"You've met him?" Thalia asked curiously.

"He is my father" Bella replied with a sigh. Thalia's eyes widened a little.

"You're a demi-god?" Percy asked surprised.

"Uh no, demi god's are half god half human...I'm not half human" Bella replied as she stretched back in her chair. "Though lately I have been feeling as weak as one" she added with a yawn.

Nico frowned a little. "Why?" he questioned.

"Don't know" Bella replied closing her eyes as she laid back.

"Did something happen at work?" Nico asked sounding worried.

"Hm, Emily, one of the members of my team was murdered" Bella replied. "Couldn't handle all the emotions" she added as she curled up into the chair in a cat like way.

"Ouch, on your first day too" Nico mumbled apologetically.

"Not as bad as it could have been...The guy got away too" Bella explained. "Screw you too dad" She said hearing thunder rumble out side. "Do me a favor...Try to not let anything wake me up" She said, but didn't say anything else as she quickly fell asleep leaving the group of teenagers to watch their movie.

"So who is she exactly?" Anabeth asked not liking that she didn't know something.

"Dad found her when he came up one time. She had been ganged up on by a bunch of guys. They got to talking, and since then she just became the designated babysitter so to speak. I basically just live here most of the time." Nico explained.

"How long have you known her?" Will asked.

"Um, oh I don't know...couple months" Nico shrugged. "She is so much nicer than other people that I can't stand" Nico said with a scowl.

"Nico"

They looked over at Bella hearing her speak.

"Don't forget...medicine" Nico raised an eyebrow seeing that she was still asleep.

"What medicine?" Will, the ever loving over protective boyfriend, questioned.

"She talks in her sleep a lot, the other day she was talking about cat fish and flying sea horses" Nico replied with a shrug.

Percy looked over at him with a 'wtf' look.

Thalia snickered a bit. "That's better than some of the dreams that I have been having" she commented.

Nico laid his head on his boyfriends shoulder and they turned their attention back to the movie.
