Frenemies
Luan Baker seemed like an average normal teenager, except for the fact that she was a brunette whom was obsessed with Bryce Matthews. Luan, like every other girl fell love with his bright smile and his beautiful sparking eyes, sprinkled with his kind heart. What more would a girl want. Then in came Maddie Wilson.
Maddie was the girl everyone loved. Captain of the cheerleading team, pretty face and great body, smart A+ student, 4.1 GPA and a perfect life. Ofcourse a guy like Bryce would fall for her, like it was expected, a week after Maddie and Bryce were deemed partners by their biology teacher, he was drunk in love.
His eyes were for Maddie and Maddie only, she was the drug he was high on, that drug he was addicted to and he loved it. Maddie Ofcourse as expected felt the same except her love wasn't enough. She didn't love him as much as he did, even though he would give his life for her and he knew.
While in the sidelines was Luan, she was sick of seeing the love of her life in pain. She came up with a decision to crush Maddie, make her suffer for hurting her crush, her obsession had gone that far. Luan made herself noticed by sleeping around with boys, dressing slutty, joining the cheer-leading team and in less than a month she was beside Maddie at the top of the food chain.
The unfortunate day Maddie accidentally spilled her coffee on Luan was the ice breaker, the start of the war. Luan swore she'd do all she could to make Maddie's life a living hell. The only problem was, she didn't know it would be hard to destroy a perfect girl.
"Why can't I be captain? I'm much better than Addy." The group of girl stared at the brunette with frowns etched on their faces. Maddie was their captain, she'd been their captain since they joined the team. No one was better than her and they were sure Luan couldn't out do their leader. "I don't think Mads would like us talking about her position as captain."
One of the many cheerleaders said, the others nodded in agreement. The girls were true to their captain, they didn't betray her for anything and that was what Maddie loved about them. "Good Morning everyone. Today we're going jogging, all round the town. It's going to be fun, I'm so excited. I hope you're all in your running clothes cause we'll be going for 2 hours none stop." The captain smiled brightly but her curved lips went limp as a hand shot up.
"Yes?" She questioned. A smirking blond walked to the front of the group of girls and tilted her head sideways. "I'm not jogging." Maddie furrows her brows in confusion, her blond hair cascading over her left shoulder. Luan swayed her hips as she pushed to the front of the pack of girls. "I speak for all the girls and we're tired."
Maddie glazed through the group of girls, then her eyes fell back onto Luan. "No. I planned this and i'm captain so what I say, goes." Luan took a threatening step forward and was face to face with Maddie. "What if I want to be captain?" the blond scoffed loudly, she crossed her arms and shook her head lightly, "Who do you think you are?" Luan smirked widely, her eyes locked with Maddie's and they held a stare down. "I think i'm the girl whose going to destroy you this Tuesday at a cheer-off,"
Luan looked so confident, she sounded confident, she acted like she was invincible and feared nothing but we all know everyone or everything has its Achilles' heel. The brunette girl seemed smart and cunning, she was cunning but she was miles away from smart. She made the worst decisions ever and fortunately for her, it never backfired but maybe this once in her life it would.
"Its on."

Sorry for the crappy chapter, i'm busy with school and all that. I've had this chapter done for like a month or so but there was this phone issue and i had to cut it short. sorry.
Hope i update soon.
But,
If i manage to get 10 or 5 comments on this chapter i'll update next week Monday or Tuesday. I don't want to continue a book no one reads, so comments would prove i do indeed have readers.
Yebay!
Kelly.
