A fight is a fight
Thank you kittycoco25 for the great trailer!
"I'll be there in a few." She told her boyfriend, he kissed her on the cheek and walked away with a 'See ya'. She let out a sigh, making her way towards the girls locker room. She stunk of sweat and her clothes were itchy. Her bag was dropped onto a bench as she took off her clothes leaving her in her hot pink lace underwear.
As she made to go into a shower stall, the sound of the door opening was followed by footsteps. She rolled her eyes lightly, "Bryce, I already told you. Guys aren't allowed in here, so go do your practice." There was no response, but the footsteps got closer. "Bryce." She called out again, she was walking towards the footsteps.
Due to terrible lighting, she could only see a huge manly figure and she sighed, "Stop trying to scare me idiot, now get out Bryce." He made no movement, she shook her head slightly. "Brryycceee!" She whined. Finally the figure came out of the dark and she gasped lightly, "You're not Bryce." She said shakily, slowly she backed away. He took twice the steps she took backwards, forward. He finally got to her and pulled her into him.
He was a dark haired boy, his dark blue eyes almost seemed black. He had a perfectly built body, complemented with a good Facial structure. He was what girls would swoon over and guys envied, that's exactly what he loved. She shook and tried to pry his hands off her but he wouldn't let her.
Her hands were starting to shake, fear was starting to over power her and she didn't like it. Slowly she became helpless and was limp in his hands, her body shaking subtly. "Don't you know me?" She couldn't remember him from anywhere, who was he. She racked through her brain for any sign of his face but she came up with nothing.
He tsked at her, taking both her wrist and clasping them in one of his hand. With his other hand, her brushed away a piece of her falling hair. "So beautiful." He whispered, his breath fanning against her face. The strong scent of watermelon lingering I front of her nostrils. Before she could process anything, his lips were on her neck. Kissing and sucking, it disgusted her, she tried to fight him off but he was too strong. Whimpers had escaped her Lips as she let warm tears slip down her face.
She'd heard of girls being raped, but she didn't think it'd happen to her. "Please." her voice barely above a whisper, he heard. He heard her loud and clear, a smirk grew on his face. It seemed he found pleasure in her pain. His hand roamed her body, he ripped at her underwear and that's when she snapped. She could finally feel her hands and legs again, she could fight. She didn't want to be one of those helpless girls who got raped and everyone blamed the girl, she wanted to be different.
Her hand wriggled in his grip, she kicked and shook all she could. "What the fuck!" She knew that voice anywhere. He was here. Immediately, the body holding her was pulled away, she stumbled forward due to his hold on her wrist. It started with a punch to the face, then they were full on brawling on the ground, if they weren't separated there was a possibility of death.
Maddie tried her best to pull them apart but either got shoved or almost hit. In one of her attempts she got hit in the face, she stumbled backwards in pain. The both boys we're obviously stuck in their own world of who would murder the other first. In panic, she quickly pulled on any random shirt and sweatpants. Her feet carried her out of the locker rooms and out to the yard. It was littered with people all stopping to stare at the screaming panicking girl. She was panting hard, her hair scattered in different directions, but she could care less.
Her eyes scanned for the only people whom could help, locking eyes with one of them, she hurried to the group of boys and girls. They all stared like everyone else, why was she looking like she'd just survived a stampede. "Bryce and this guy... They're f-fighting! I-I can't....can't stop them. Help me! Please!" One of the boys jumped up, he looked strong enough to pull them apart.
She took off in the direction of the fight, not once sparing a glance behind her. She finally made it back, bursting through the doors to still meet the two boys pounding each other. Except this time, her savior was ontop. He threw punch after punch, showing no mercy. For a second she pitied the boy below but it washed away as she realized what he has almost done to her.
The doors were pushed open and in a minute she was surrounded but both boys and girls. The two boys were separated but still held apart, her boyfriend shooting glares at her attacker and fighting to be set free. Slowly she slid to the floor, palms on her face. Arms wrapped around her from behind and infront of her, she pulled both closer and cried to their chests. Her eye was throbbing and her heart and head pounding, her lungs were screaming for air but her sobs were doing her no good.
People gaped at what was placed before them, their beloved and worshipped popular group all in a chaos. Their queen bee bawling her eyes out, in the comfort of her followers. Her boyfriend, the king, glaring and pushing against his teammates to get to the dark haired boy whom seemed to have gotten the worse half of the fight. Worst of all no one understood what happened or what was happening.
An hour later, the two boys had been dragged to the principle office. Their queen bee was led to the nurse to get her harmed eye checked out. The rest had left to their respective homes, all the 'populars' were sure of one thing, this would be the start of the rumors. It was a huge burden for Maddie to be carrying, people had seen her broken for the first time.
The two pairs of heels and a pair of sneakers trudged against the hallway floors. The 3 girls known in the school for their outstanding looks, skills and brains. Cheerleaders with brains, people hardly ever saw that. Maddie's head was in a whirlpool, her mind on her and her boyfriend's relationship now. He'd hit her in the face, given her a deep mark that was highly noticeable. It was a large purple circle covering her whole left eye, she grabbed an eye patch from the nurse to draw less attention but the eye patch did the exact opposite.
"Maddie." All their head looked in the direction of the boy waking towards them. His face was bruised, beaten, messed up, she mentally stopped herself from going to him, to hold him and take care of his wounds. She forced out a glare, gripping onto her friends hands, she pulled them forward. "I'm sorry." She froze in her step.
She spun around on her heels, locking eyes with her probably still boyfriend. "Sorry doesn't fix anything." Her best friend Bailey growled, she was never a fan of Bryce and always told Maddie how she'd made a mistake. Bailey grabbed Maddie's forearms and continued to pull forward but the queen bee didn't move. She yanked her hand out of her bestfriends grip and spun around. "Leave." She ordered and just like that the two girls walked away.
Bryce rushed towards her, stopping directly infront of her. "Mads, baby, I'm so sorry. If there's anything I can do to make you forgive me, say it and I'll do it. Please, I'm sorry." She was never able to witstand his puppy dog eyes, his puckered lips and that pleading look. He took her hand into his, she immediately tensed but calmed down as he softly rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb.
"Remember when you promised to never hurt me? We sat on the swings in the park and y-you said you loved me. T-That was the first time we- we ever said the 'L' word." Tears were rolling down her cheeks now, she'd let out a shaky sob and gulped. "You b-broke your pro-promise, you hurt me." Not so surprisingly, he pulled her into his chest.
She felt as he softly stroked her hair, her tears stained his shirt but she could care less. Her body felt weak to her and her chest hurt badly, she hated when he saw her at her weakest, like right now. She didn't like the feeling of being little in his arms, it wasn't something she was used to and she never wanted to be used to it. But then again, she loved the way he hugged her, the way he held her to him like she was his and no one else's, she loved the feeling of someone wanting to protect her. "I'm sorry, love."
She knew he was sorry, from the guilty look on his face and the pleading tone he used, even an oblivious person could tell from a mile away, he truly was sorry. "I know. And I forgive you." He pulled away from their embrace and looked her in the eyes, he saw as her glassy eyes shone with innocence. He was angry and disappointed at himself for doing this to her, after all his continuous promises, he hurt her.
"I want you to really promise me one thing." She started, he nodded for her to continue. "I want you to promise to try and control your anger." She'd known from all the time they'd spent together, he had a short temper and had huge problems controlling his anger. "I promise, my sweet, I promise to try my best at controlling my... Anger." He once again pulled her into a hug and this time he didn't pull away.
They both stood there, enjoying the sweet, peaceful moment. This was what they'd craved for, they wished every time spent together could be like this but they knew it wasn't possible. They were the top of the food chain, the king and queen of the school and their lives couldn't be normal. ever. It was how it was and how it'd always been.
