"Promise," You muttered as the tension was getting bigger. A wolf, a rabbit, and a red panda. Not exactly a good combination. You stood there as the wolf was slowly getting on to all fours, and the rabbit's ear twitched.

'Shit, I don't have anything to defend the rabbit, I don't even know who they are, stupid fog,' You thought taking a small step forward. Suddenly, everything happened so fast, the wolf lunged at the rabbit, who tried to run off, and you quickly ran to push the rabbit put of the way.

You tackled the wolf and the two of you tumbled off. The rabbit fell onto the ground and she watched on in horror as the wolf had a tight grip on your neck, and your claws came out to attach themselves to his arm.
'Can't move, one wrong step and my throat gets ripped out. Is this really how I'll die? In the hands of a Carnivore, the one that I try to have equality? I couldn't even solve the case for Tem, and if I die his case will die too,' You thought as you tried to gasp for air, your heartbeat going faster.

'The heartbeat. Is it mine? Or yours? She feels... warm... Her neck... it's soft. Under the clothes, under the fur... Stop! What should I do?' Legoshi thought as he didn't look at you, but into space.
'Should I? The warm meat in my mouth... My hands... won't stop...' He felt his hands wonder on your stomach, making you bare your fangs, making your fox side come out. Haru couldn't move, she was frozen in fear as she looked at you two.

'Is that... (Y/N)? She protected me from the wolf...' She thought as Legoshi started to whimper.
"Stop... No... Go away!" You looked at him confused, but was still struggling as his grip on your throat tightened. He bared his teeth and slowly came to your neck, at which your claws dug into his fur.
'I'm sorry Kora... Tem... (F-'

"LEGOSHI!" Legoshi snapped out of his trance and accidentally drew blood from your neck. You quickly kicked him off and ran to Haru.
"Come on," You grabbed her hand and the two of you ran off, leaving Legoshi staring at you two leaving. You didn't say anything else, your mind is fogged with thoughts of death. You two eventually made it to the entrance and panted. Haru looked at you with awe in her eyes.

"You... you're hurt," She moved her hand to touch your bleeding neck, but you quickly waved her off.
"Don't worry about it Haru, I just need to know that you're okay," You grumbled checking to see if your notes and camera are with you. The lenses are smashed, but besides that everything is good. Haru frowned and took your hand, making you jump and held in a growl.

"Your neck is bleeding, I need to worry about it," She said opening the door and taking you to the room.
'What am I doing? I'm seriously helping an animal bigger than me with an injury. It's usually the other way around,' She thought. The door slowly opened and Haru lead to to her bed so she could tend to your wound.

She grabbed a cloth and put it on your neck, making you hiss in pain.
"Sorry," She flinched, but continued to clean your wound and tie a bandage around it.
"If anyone asks, say you had some troubles with thorns at the garden," She whispered. You said nothing and touched your bandaged neck.

"...Thank you..." You mumbled getting up from her bed and laying on the couch. You picked up your ladybug toy and fumbled with it.
'What the hell is wrong with me? Baring my teeth, Kora said not to, and the kid probably knows. So much for being undercover,' You sighed and laid your head down.

'But... was the kid... the murderer?"

"Are you sure it was thorns?" Jack asked worriedly as you both sat down at the table.
"I'm sure, an accident at the garden club. Leave it alone," You said bluntly and started to eat. Jack hesitantly nodded and dropped it, but was still worried about you. Legoshi on the other hand...

'She's here. She's right in front of me! At this table! Why did Jack have to become friends with her! Does she know that it was me? She has a bandage around her neck! Is she going to say anything? Why am I staring at her?!' Legoshi quickly looked away from you eating your scrambled eggs and looked at his tray, staring at the bread.
'I can't eat this. I can still remember what she felt like last night. And the rabbit girl. I tried to eat her too. I don't want to touch anything soft,' He internally trembled until a shout.

"Hey you bastard! What's your deal?!" You looked up to see a fox and wild dog arguing.
'That's not good, make sure they're not doing anything stupid,' You carefully watched the two as they argued more. Then the wild dog bit the fox's arm. Your eyes widen as you quickly stood up, about to break up the fight by any means necessary, until.

"ENOUGH!!"

You paused and looked at Legoshi, who was also shocked at what he did.
"Who the hell are you? Just because you're bigger than me, you thought you can beat me?" The fox growled. Legoshi stammered and shook his head.
"Hey, leave him alone. He was worried about you and you're gonna try and fight him?" You finally said walking over, making others whisper about you.

"Oh yeah? What are you going going to do about it red eyes? You may be the biggest red panda I've seen, but I'm still taller than you. Come on, I'll bite into your neck nice and gently," He smirked. You internally winced at the mention of your neck, but stood your ground.
"Oh come on, being a Carnivore isn't so easy, is it?" You three turned around to see a red deer walking over, with girls fangirling.

"You're not so lucky to have both personality and power." He said, slighty looking at you before looking back at the fox.
'Who the hell is this?' You thought confused.
"Well well well, if it isn't Louis, the super star rich kid," The fox said cockily.
"Exposing your fangs in public is considered bad manners," The deer, now known as Louis, blankly stared at him.

"Wish I could say the same to you. If you want to be the next Beastar, you need to put in a lot of effort to attract people," The fox argued.
'Beastar, I've always wanted to be a Beastar in high school when I was a little cub, but I always knew I didn't had the... right blood for the school to want...' You sighed at the one dream you had as a cub.

"Have you ever wondered why we needed a Beastar in our world? Instead of me, worry about yourself," Other people started to agree with him and the wild dog and fox stomped away.
"Go worry about your business now everyone," Louis said to the people watching. Louis turned to Legoshi and talked about how he was how long his personality was gonna last.

"And you," He faced you and you slightly squirmed under his gaze.
'He's a high schooler, don't be afraid (Y/N)' You stared back as he was looking up and down at you.
"Very brave for a herbivore, and for a new student. What's your name?" He asked.
"(Y/N)" You stated, cautiously looking at him.

"Follow me," He said and walked off. You looked back at your 'friends' and they shrugged.
"Best that you follow, Louis is super popular," Jack whispered.
"Thank you," You mumbled to him and walked off. Jack smiled and shyly rubbed his neck.
"Aw, does Jack have a crush on the new student?" Collot smirked, making Miguno snicker.

"W-What! No of course not!" Jack looked away with a blush crawling up his face. Legoshi looked at Jack and felt his stomach twist at the thought of you and Jack together.

'What the heck is going on with me?'
