Chapter 1- First Day Again

"(Y/N) we can't wait any longer, they're gonna die!"

"No wait! Y-"

BANG

"Shit! You actually shot her!"

"It doesn't matter, lets go!"

"What about that Red Panda?"

"Leave her as a message!"

"(Y/N) let go! She's gone!"

"No! I can't leave her!"

"(L/N)?" You opened your eyes and looked up to see the headmaster, Gon.
"Sorry, my mind was wondering," You said fumbling with your wooden toy ladybug.
"It's okay, take the time you need. I have to thank you again for doing this," The tiger gave you a soft smile.
"Whatever, what do you want me to do here?" You said standing up.

"In order to investigate further, here's a schedule and your dorm room number. You don't need you learn anything, but blend in as best you can," Gon explained handing you a piece of paper.
"Thanks, see you later Gon," You waved him goodbye, grabbing the backpack and walked out the office, but not before hearing Gon say.

"Have a great time here at Cherryton Academy,"

'So this is the inside of Cherryton. It's been a while since I've seen Herbivores and Carnivores together in one building.' You thought as you walked through the halls, ignoring the stares and gasps around you.

"Woah! Look at the size of that Red Panda!"

"Oh he's cute!"

"No you idiot! That's a girl in a boy uniform!"

"It is? That's kinda hot,"

"Well, she's way bigger than Fudge or any Red Panda I've seen, is she new?"

"I heard there was going to be a transfer student, maybe that's her?"

'I remember high school, it was one of the most beautiful, yet heartbreaking years of my life,' You thought. But you shook the thoughts away as you turned the corner and spotted it. The doors with Tem's picture on it.
'Jeez, I forgot what it was like finding a crime scene' You noticed a gray wolf and a red deer sitting in front of the memorial.

'Must've been friends with Tem, I better get to my new 'dorm room' and check out this scene after school,' You turned away and walked off, not noticing cold brown eyes following your figure as you did.
"Alright, stay nice to the dorm mates, don't draw attention to yourself." You muttered walking to a door and knocking.

The door opened and you saw a cat and a raccoon.
"What are you doing here in the girls dorms?" The raccoon said.
"I'm a girl, and this is my new dorm room, said from Headmaster Gon," You said in a bored tone. They were shocked and looked at you up and down, making you fumble with your toy.

"Oh, you're the transfer student, come in," The car motioned you. You walked in and laid your bags against the couch.
"I know if it's four each room, but the Headmaster advised me to come here," You looked around to see a squirrel sitting on a bed.

"You can get the other bottom bunk, there was another girl sleeping here, but she's a slut, so stay away from her," They laughed obnoxiously. You twitched your ear and shook your head.
"It's alright, I'll stay on this couch, I don't want any trouble with anyone," You stated.
"Suit yourself, say, you're really tall," The cat walked up to you and touched your shoulder, making you tense.

"For a Red Panda, you must be strong," The raccoon cooed and touched your waist. Your eyes twitched and you pushed them away.
"I advise you to not do that, if you want to be thrown out of the window," They may be students, but you sure as hell won't let anyone touch you.
"Feisty, see you at the cafeteria!" The two laughed and left, leaving you and the squirrel.

"Hi, I'm sally, what's yours?" The squirrel asked not looking up from her book.
"(Y/N), is anyone one else jerks like them?" You asked taking out ladybug toy and playing with it.
"I don't know, maybe Haru," Just then, the door opened and you saw a white dwarf rabbit, holding a mattress behind her and books and pencils.

You stared at her for a moment as she looked at you in confusion.
"Are you... the new dorm mate?" She asked. You snapped out of it and nodded.
'It's a boy? No, the figure is definitely a female, but why is she wearing a boy uniform? Did she already met the others? I bet they told her all about me. Typical,' Haru thought bitterly.
"Yeah, call me (Y/N), and you're the other roommate," You said.

'Huh, I guess they didn't, or maybe she doesn't care,'
"I'm Haru," She said pulling her mattress to the bunk and placing it there.
"Great, now we introduced each other, I have to go now," You tiredly said walking and passed her.

'Huh, weird girl,'

'Great, now the troubling part. Finding a place to sit. Always had this problem,' You gripped your tray as you walked around. The students stared at you in awe and you tapped the tray rhythmically.
"Hey!" You turn to see a golden retriever smiling and waving at you. You hesitantly walked over and saw others.
"You seem lost, want to have a seat with us?" He asked parting a seat next to him.

'All boys, but it should be fine, if they try anything I can always throw them off, and maybe study their behavior for any suspects,' You shrugged and sat down.
"So, you're the new transfer student, few days after the incident. What are you, a spy?" A Bengal Tiger asked with a grin.
"Bill! Don't say that!" The golden retriever pushed him off.

"What I'm just joking! But really, you are tall-"
"For a Red Panda I get it. Not the first time I got that today," You cut him off and ate your bread. He stopped and laughed.
"I like this guy! What's your name? I'm Bill, that's Jack, and that's Legoshi," He wrapped an arm around you and pointed at the wolf. You briefly looked at Legoshi, before nodding.

"Great, now get your arm off of me, name's (Y/N), second year transfer," You said taking a bite off of your bread. He paused and looked at you closely.
"You're a girl?!" He quickly pulled his arm away in embarrassment.
"Duh, I thought it was obvious with my fur color," You glared at him.

"W-well! I thought, because of the uniform, Umm," Bill looked away embarrassed as Jack stifled a laugh.
"Serves you right Bill! Don't worry about him, he gets like this all the time," He smiled at you. You felt a tug at your heart as Jack showed kindness, reminding you of her.
'Stop, remember why I'm here, finish the case for Tem,' You thought, simply nodding at Jack.

Legoshi looked at you as you ate. His ears twitched as he quietly sniffed the air.
'Her scent, it's different than Fudge's, is it because she's a girl? No, there's another scent besides Red Panda, what is the scent?,' He looked down and ate his meal.

A pair of orange eyes watched the table and you as you tiredly talked to the 'new friends' you made.

'Who are you?'

"No one around, best get to the auditorium doors," You mumbled taking your camera and notes and walking swiftly down the halls. You made it to the memorial and bowed, taking a moment to respect Tem.
"Poor kid, shouldn't deserve this. No one deserves to be treated by label," You sighed carefully opening the doors and taking pictures of anything you could find as evidence.

"Nothing but hints of Alpaca wool, blood, and claw marks on the floor," You muttered sniffing the air.
"What the hell?" You sniffed further and definitely smelled carnivore blood, but it was told Tem didn't fought back.
"Either that or the murderer injured himself during the chase," You wrote the information down and quickly left the auditorium, closing it and hanging the picture up so no one suspected a thing.

You walked out the building and towards the dorms. You were lost in your thoughts, when you froze. The smell. Of a Herbivore and a Carnivore alone at night. You covered your mouth as you felt your blood grow hot.
'Keep it down (Y/N), kept it down. Control your half blood,' You thought looking around to see a fountain. You walked closer and stopped to see a large figure, 10 feet away a from a smaller figure.
