IN WHICH, she got a closer look at her dream job in the worse way possible, but he was there to save her.

From a young age, Katarina Argent knew she wanted to save lives. The need to protect and serve ran through her veins and her bloodline. The women came from a long line of people in law enforcement or the medical field. It wasn't until a certain event took place that she was certain on what career she wanted to work towards. Consistent murders in her town led to a major investigation and her being face to face with the killer. Only for them to be taken down by an FBI agent before her eyes. As traumatic as the ordeal may have seemed, it helped Katarina figure out her future.

Years later, everything had been going good in the woman's life. After years of hard work and having to prove herself continuously, Katarina was on her last training course. When she goes to visit her parents to celebrate, she's faced with devastating news. Her parents were dead, murdered by the same person who murdered all those people in her town when she was younger.

Instantly, Katarina felt as if her world was crashing down. Her parents were her world - they were the base of her love and affection & she wasn't gonna be at ease until their killer was behind bars or dead. When the BAU sends a team to come investigate Katarina is reminded why she wanted to be an agent. She is especially reminded through a kind soul named Derek Morgan.

𝑵𝑶𝑻𝑬𝑺 ˖⋆࿐໋₊ ☆

- I figured you could make it two parts if you want, the first part being where she first meets Derek & she just finished her training course. The second part then being when it's a year later and they meet again, but this time it's because she's there to join the team.

- The time when she was first face to face with the killer was not intentional it just happened. They were going to kill her because she got in the way and ruined the plans. So, the second time around it's personal. They're getting back at her for foiling their plans and are going to attempt to attack Katarina too.

- You make your own killer. You can decide their gender, backstory, reasoning, but it just has to correlate with everything I explained above.

- Derek and Katarina should not be a fast burn, so please don't make them such. When Derek and Katarina first meet, it more so a spark between them that can lead to flirting, healing on Katarina's part, and maybe even a kiss at the end. Now the second time they meet, its a different story. They build upon the spark they already have and open up to each other more.

- Remember Katarina is the main character, so I want to see some character growth along the story. This also includes her relationship with characters with people other then Derek, there should be some growth there too.

- I didn't find it necessary to give her parent face claims, but you can if you want.
