Ashton's POV: Everyone just left the hospital and went their separate ways. I made the decision to let the girls live with me and my girlfriend for a while because Calum hasn't been doing well ever since Delilah died, and when the girls were born, Calum asked me if I was willing to take care of them if something ever happened to him and I said yes.

Kaitlin: Hey darling.

Ashton: Hey baby.

Kaitlin: Is Calum, okay?

Ashton: He is, Calum made a suicide attempt.

Kaitlin: Are you serious?

Ashton: Yes, the Doctor confirmed that it was an attempt to end his life.

Kaitlin: Oh my god.

Ashton: He's stable now but he has to stay at the hospital so the nurses can watch him.

Kaitlin: I can't believe he tried to end his life.

Ashton: Everyone was surprised, the girls are going to be staying here for a while until Calum is clean.

Kaitlin: Did he relapse?

Ashton: Yes, he did.

Kaitlin: Oh my god.

Ashton: Is one of the guest rooms ready? I wanted to put Ramona down, she fell asleep in the car. * Looking at a sleeping Ramona sitting on his lap *

Kaitlin: I think so, let me go check.

Ashton: Okay. * He says taking off her shoes and her jacket *

Sapphire: Hey Ashton, sorry I took so long. * She says walking in with her overnight bag and then putting the keys down to her dad's car on the side table *

Kaitlin: The first guest room is ready.

Ashton: Okay.

Sapphire: Hey Kay Kay.

Kaitlin: Hey, how are you doing?

Sapphire: I'm hanging in there; I really miss my mom and I can't believe that my dad is acting out and to top it all off I found out that grandma Joy has Cancer.

Kaitlin: It's okay, we're here for you.

Sapphire: Thanks.

Kaitlin: No problem, I'm going to get the second guest room ready for you.

Sapphire: Thanks.

Kaitlin: No problem.

Ashton: Sapphire.

Sapphire: Yes?

Ashton: Can you grab Ramona's PJs, so I can put them on her?

Sapphire: Sure. * She says going in her sister's bag and giving Ashton her pj's *

Ashton: Thanks, she fell asleep in my car. * He says gently taking her clothes off and putting her night gown on her before picking her up and taking her to the guest room *

Sapphire: No problem, awe.

Ashton: Kaitlin.

Kaitlin: Yes.

Ashton: Can you keep an eye on Ramona?

Kaitlin: Sure, why?

Ashton: She has been having nightmares about her mum.

Kaitlin: Really?

Ashton: Yes, she has that same nightmare every night.

Kaitlin: Awe, sweetie of course.

Ashton: She sometimes wakes up in tears.

Kaitlin: You got it.

Ashton: Thanks. * He says to Kay Kay after putting Ramona down on the bed and pulling the covers on her *

* Ramona moans and turns on her side while she is sleeping *

Ashton: Sapphire, are you okay? *He asks hearing Sapphire sobbing *

Sapphire: No, I'm not.

Ashton: Sapphire, talk to me.

Sapphire: Ash, I'm stressed, I have so much to do to keep things afloat and with my dad's situation, it just brings more stress on me and I am trying to go to college. I have been trying to balance school and a job and I have to take care of Ramona too. * She says breaking down completely *

Ashton: Hey, hey; don't cry.

Sapphire: I am basically doing everything by myself.

Ashton: It's okay, it's okay. * He says pulling Sapphire in a hug *

Sapphire: Ashton, I can't do everything by myself.

Ashton: It's okay, you don't have to anymore; Kay Kay and I are here.

Kaitlin: Please don't cry anymore Sapphire, Ash and I are here to help you take care of Ramona.

Ashton: I haven't told you this but it's time for you to know.

Sapphire: What is it, Ashton?

Ashton: When you and Ramona were born, Calum asked me if I was willing to take care of you both if something ever happened to him and I said yes.

Sapphire: So, my dad wanted you to take care of us?

Ashton: Yes. He trusted me with your lives.

Sapphire: So, he truly loves us?

Ashton: Yes, he does, when you and Ramona were born, he broke down in tears. His heart was so full when the both of you were born and I had never seen him cry before but when he was holding you and Ramona when you were brought into this world, he fell in love with you both. You two were the greatest thing that happened in his life.

Sapphire: So, he basically vowed to protect us.

Ashton: Yes, there is no greater love than that.

Sapphire: Oh my gosh. * She says not crying as much as she was before *

Ashton: Having to let you girls come with me was the most difficult decision for me to make because I really wanted you to stay with Calum but with his situation and actions, I made that tough decision and I did this because I truly love and care for you both. Even if I'm just your dad's friend.

Sapphire: Thank you Ashton. * She says hugging him and finally not crying anymore *

Ashton: No problem, time for bed.

Sapphire: Okay, I love you.

Ashton: I love you too, goodnight.

Sapphire: Goodnight. * She says walking up the steps and going into her guest room and putting her pajamas on, before climbing in bed, turning her light off and falling asleep *

While Ramona was sleeping, she started having the same nightmare she had been having every night, followed by the nightmare of what happened to her father.

* Ramona Screaming *

Ramona: No! No! No!

Kaitlin Ramona wake up.

Ramona: No! No! Nooo!

Kaitlin: Ramona.

* Ramona wakes up crying *

Kay Kay: Shh, it's okay. * She pulls Ramona into a comforting hug *

Ramona: Kay Kay, it was horrible.

Kaitlin: I know sweetheart, I know.

Ramona: I'm scared to go back to sleep.

Kaitlin: You just had a nightmare.

Ramona: I had two nightmares, one was about what happened to my mom and the other one was about what happened to my dad, I'm not okay.

Kaitlin: Shh, it's going to be okay.

Ramona: Will you please stay with me?

Kaitlin: Yes, I will

Ramona: Thanks, good night.

Kaitlin: You're welcome, good night.

* Ramona falls back to sleep with Kay Kay doing so after. *
