Ashton's POV: After everything that has happened, I'm thinking about having the girls live with me and my girlfriend for a while; just until Calum is clean.

Sapphire: I think that what my dad did was a suicide attempt.

Luke: Really?

Sapphire: Yes.

Ashton: Are you serious?

Sapphire: Yes.

Joy: Oh my God, why would he do something like that?

Sapphire: I think it was my fault, dad and I got into an argument today and I said some things that might have hurt his feelings.

Ashton: Really?

Sapphire: I was trying to tell you about it, when Ramona started screaming.

Ashton: It's okay, it's not your fault.

Sapphire: Ashton, I feel like it is.

Dr. Adams: I have some good news, Calum is starting to come around and his breathing is now stable, he still has an oxygen mask on but it's only until his brain gets enough oxygen to function.

Sapphire: Yay!

Ashton: What a relief.

Dr. Adams: I have a question for you.

Sapphire: Yes, Doctor.

Dr. Adams: I noticed that your dad had scars on both arms and wrist and I need to ask you this.

Sapphire: Okay.

Dr. Adams: Has Calum been hurting himself?

Sapphire: Yes, he has.

Dr.Adams: When did he start?

Sapphire: 3 years after we buried my mom.

Dr. Adams: Well, I'm afraid to say that according to my observations this was definitely a suicide attempt.

Sapphire: Oh my God!

Ashton: What's the matter?

Sapphire: Ashton, my dad made a suicide attempt.

Ashton: Are you kidding?

Sapphire: No, I am not; the doctor confirmed that it was an attempt.

Ashton: Oh my God, come here. * He says pulling sapphire into a hug *

Ashton: I can't believe that Calum tried to end his life.

Luke: What's going on?

Ashton: The doctor confirmed that Calum made a suicide attempt.

Luke: Oh my God.

Michael: I couldn't help but overhear the doctor, is it true?

Sapphire: Yes, it's true; my dad made an attempt.

Michael: I can't believe that he made an attempt.

Ashton: Joy, are you okay?

Joy: I can't believe that my son attempted suicide, that makes my heart hurt.

Ashton: I think that I'm going to take the girls to my house and have them stay with me and my girlfriend for a while.

Joy: I think that would be best, Calum is not in a good state right now.

Sapphire: Can we see him?

Dr. Adams: Yes, follow me.

Ashton: Okay. * He says following the doctor to Calum's room and everybody doing the same *

Sapphire: Oh my God. * She says breaking down at the site of her dad *

Luke: It's okay, Sapphire. * He says hugging her while Ashton was hugging Ramona *

Michael: Hey Calum.

Luke: Calum, we need to talk.

Calum: What?

Ashton: This is an intervention.

Calum: Okay.

Joy: We are all worried about you.

Sapphire: Dad, how could you do that?

Calum: What?

Sapphire: Make a suicide attempt.

Calum: Sapphire, I just want the pain to go away.

Sapphire: There's better ways to handle things and what you are doing isn't the right way to handle grief.

Calum: Sapphire, when I lost your mum; I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest.

Sapphire: I get it, Ramona and I felt the same way but we aren't acting out like you are.

Calum: Sapphire, can we not do this.

Sapphire: Dad, what you did really hurt me and everyone else.

Calum: I just want the pain to end, I just want to be with Delilah.

Ashton: Ramona and Sapphire miss their mum too and it seems like you totally forgot that.

Michael: Calum, the way you have been acting says otherwise.

Luke: You made a promise that you wouldn't do what you are doing again and that if you weren't feeling okay that you would reach out to one of us.

Calum: Guys, losing Delilah was painful.

Ashton: We get it but you had someone to reach out to, when she passed.

Joy: You haven't been yourself and I understand but that doesn't give you the right to act out.

Calum: Mum, come on.

Ashton: Because of how you have been acting and what you have been doing, I made the decision to take Sapphire and Ramona to my house and have them live with me and my girlfriend for a while until you are clean.

Calum: Ashton, you can't do that, I need them right now and they are all I have left.

Ashton: I get it but I am and that's final.

Joy: You are not in a good state right now to have them stay with you right now. I think that it would be best.

Luke: I agree.

Calum: Come on guys, I love them so much.

Ashton: Sapphire is basically raising Ramona by herself because you're not emotionally stable.

Calum: Says the person who was an alcoholic.

Ashton: Calum are you seriously going to throw me under the bus, when I have dropped you off at home every time you were too stoned to do so yourself.

Calum: It's true.

Ashton: We aren't talking about me; we are talking about you.

Sapphire: And another thing, why didn't you tell us that grandma Joy had cancer?

Calum: Because I didn't want to overwhelm you both, you had already been going through it after losing your mum and I didn't want to bring you anymore bad news.

Joy: It would have been the right thing to tell them, instead of hiding it. They deserve to know what is going on with their family.

Michael: We are all really disappointed in you and we're hurt.

Luke: You need help Calum, you need help.

Calum: Guys.

Ramona: Daddy, why? * She says crying *

Sapphire: Every time I go to your bathroom and your room to straighten up, I am going to see you bleeding out on the floor and you almost dying.

Ashton: The girls still need you.

Joy: And they need the best version of you.

Ashton: We are talking to you about getting help because we all care for you and don't want to lose you.

Dr. Adams: You guys should be finishing up.
