"so you know, we've never really talked about our past" jake exclaimed, looking at me from the chair in front of me

we are currently on a date.

"what do you want to know?" i asked, eating a chip from the bowl

"any last relationships?" he wondered

i nodded and said "2, the first one i was engaged to but he got upset with me that i wouldn't have sex with him till we were married so he cheated on me" i laughed "the last one just wasn't the one i guess"

"so he just played you?" he asked and i nodded "what a dick"

"hm"i gave jake a smirk "but how do i know your not playing with me?"

jake looked at me like he was serious "because i would die for you"

i shook my head at him "what about you?"

"oh you know, nothing serious" he told me "my parents work for the navy, don't ask me exactly what they do though because i have no fucking clue"

i laughed and gave him a thumbs up "i guess i won't, you already know my parents. um you know like everything."

"that's true" he nodded agreeing

"so what are we gonna do now?" i asked him "like about us, i was gonna move back home to nevada" i told him

"i'll go with" i rolled my eyes at him "im serious lex"

"jake you can't just move with me, i'm probably gonna stay with my parents and help out at the academy" i said "you should hang out with your family in florida"

"i don't wanna hang out with my family" he groaned like a child "i wanna hang out with you"

"jake" i said with a smile

"lex" he copied me

"your gonna make this difficult" i laughed "what if we saw each other for a week out of each month"

"a week?!" he asked me loudly "that to short, i'm getting an apartment in nevada and that's that"

i groaned but nodded and gave him a thumbs up

"hey momma" i opened up the door to my parents house, i saw my mom right away "why are switching out those paintings? i liked the gray one" i pouted

"because your dad wanted a pop of blue, said he went to one of his lieutenants house and thought the pop of color was cool, that it's what is in style now" she told me

"mhm" i said "just don't do anything to my room" i tell her

she walked up to me and gave me a hug "so how's jake?"

"wow, i just got here and your already asking me about my boyfriend. you haven't even asked about me" i laughed "but he's good. thinking about getting an house out here"

"for you?" she asked

"for me" i nodded "i told him that he should go home, but he refused to leave me"

"aw" she paused with a smile "young love"

i laughed and started to walk away but she stopped me

"oh and teagan told me to tell you to come over when you get home" she told me

i smile wildly "like my best friend teagan?!"

she looked at me like i was stupid "the one and only"
