— danielle is always sitting in hyde's lap, it's basically their thing and everyone is used to it. hyde would always pulled her into his lap, even when they were fighting he would do so to try to get her to talk to him, saying he won't let go until she does.

— hyde loves danielle so hard and fully, practically worships the ground she walks on. he knew he was done for, knew how much he was in love with her when they were younger and it just grew overtime. at first, it was a crush and before he realized it, he fallen for his best friends twin sister despite denying it at first. he would do anything for danielle and is extremely protective over her.

— the first time hyde knew he was in love with danielle was when they were thirteen and danielle had the hugest crush on a popular boy named james that asked her to the school dance only to end up breaking her heart and causing her to cry when he was caught making out with pam macy, which lead to hyde punching the asshole which lead to a huge fight that both eric and michael joined in.

— hyde hated to see danielle cry and it always felt like a punch to the gut, especially when he was the reason why and he never wants to make her cry so he tries his hardest not to. on the rare chance he does, he would hate himself but he would also be as stubborn as danielle and the two would go without talking until hyde finally caves, which doesn't take that long to begin with and ends up apologizing.
