Grace's silver vehicle stood parked on the corner next to her house as the teen debated on whether or not she should enter. Her fingers nervously drummed on the wheel as she took a deep breath. Yet, just as her hands were about to open the car door, she rapidly stood back on the seat, starting her car and driving away. Anxiety pumped through her veins as she drove away from the street she grew up on. She couldn't do it. Not yet. It was too soon, that she knew. She also knew she was a creature without a pack and her best friend's family had declared war against every supernatural creature roaming Beacon Hills.
And the only Alpha she knew of was the one person she never wanted to see again in her life. Yet, she had realized something: there were much more important things than her pain and her conflicts, so she needed to suck it up and try to survive. Which meant the first thing she needed to do was get a pack.
As she drove, her jaw clenched slightly as she thought about her needing to be in a pack, which consisted on talking to Derek, and ultimately joining him. She turned towards an alley, gasping slightly as she saw someone get in front of her car, her feet stopping the car before her mind could even register she was going to hit someone. She let out a breath, her lights shining at the person in front of her car, which turned out to be Isaac. He seemed to be having some type of anxiety attack, the stench hitting her nostrils, making her rapidly get out of her car, taken aback by the sudden cold rain drops now on her body. She went towards the boy, his eyes furrowing as he saw a figure coming towards him, then relaxing a bit as he saw it was her.
"Hey, um, are you okay?" She asked, crouching down next to him. He stood there, unable to respond to the girl in front of him. She helped him get up and guided him to her car. As soon as she entered, she turned up the heat, getting out of the alley and stopping in the side of the street.
"Sorry, I-I know this kinda looks like I kid napped you, but it's freezing and raining outside and you were in the middle of having an attack of something," she said, turning towards the shaggy haired boy, slightly furrowing her eyes as she noticed he kept his hands hidden.
She looked back at the wheel, sighing before looking back at Isaac. "Can I get you somewhere? Um, your house or—"
"N-not my house," he said rapidly, making Grace furrow her eyebrows yet shake it off, she wasn't one to question him for not wanting to go to his house, "I, um, I know a place."
She looked back at him, his ocean blue eyes piercing into hers, igniting a sudden silence in the vehicle. His breathing turned irregular as he awkwardly broke the stare between the two. As she reached for her pocket to take her phone, she sighed as she figured she must've dropped it in the alley. "Shit. I'll be right back," she said, making the blue eyed boy look at her with wide eyes as if the thought of being alone for a few minutes in her car was the end of the world, "I'll be back as fast as I can, okay? Don't go anywhere."
Her white adidas rapidly walked back to the alley in the pouring rain, stopping dead in their tracks as a familiar smell filled her nostrils. Blood. She pushed it out, walking back to the alley, yet the smell only got stronger the closer she got. As she heard hissing, she rapidly hid behind a brick wall, her eyes widening as she covered her mouth in horror. That didn't sound like a werewolf. She pulled herself to look back, looking at her phone in the corner next to her, gathering the strength to run towards it without slipping. Yet, as her hands gripped her phone, she gasped in horror as she saw what was there.
Her stomach churned as she saw a car filled with blood, yet instead of running away like anyone would do, she slowly walked towards the corpse, her finger swiping a bit of blood off the gory wound, and before she could process what she was doing, she sucked on it, letting out a breath of pleasure as her mouth tasted the flavor. Before she knew it, her hands were covered in blood as she sucked on them, not getting enough of the flavor. Suddenly, she gasped, realizing what she was doing, walking back in disgust, wiping the blood off her face with her jacket, putting it around her body as she ran back, tears in her eyes as she processed what she was doing.
Yet, as she started running, she landed in Isaac's arms, his eyes shocked as he processed the identity of the corpse. It was his father. Grace gasped as she saw something she didn't quite understand. It was Isaac trapped and crying in a dark place, as a voice yelled at him, blaming him for something. She gasped as she backed away, turning around as she matched what she saw to what was happening in front of her. The corpse was Isaac's father. But what did she see? Did Isaac's father abuse him? How did she even see that?
She looked back at Isaac, both of them running back to her car. As they both entered, all you could hear was their panting as they processed what they had just witnessed. "Are you okay? I mean, um, a-are you hurt or something?" Issac asked Grace, his nostrils filled with the scent of blood.
Grace widened her eyes as she looked at her covered hands, blood nowhere to be seen. Her heart beat faster as she grabbed a scissor from her cup holder, rapidly grabbing his arm and sliding it across his bicep, a wide cut appearing on the spot. Isaac winced, trying to pull his arm away from her grasp, giving up when she held him in place, his wound slowly healing, soon disappearing. She gasped, letting go of his arm and looked at him with wide eyes, hearing his heartbeat accelerate.
"I-I can explain--" Isaac started but was cut off by Grace.
"No, um, I mean, like, you're a werewolf, right?" Grace asked, hoping to not be the only one that wasn't a werewolf.
"Shit, you--you're one of those hunters, aren't you? Th--that's why you got close to me in lacrosse practice and--"
"No! No! I'm not a hunter, Isaac, I'm.." Grace started, thinking of what to say, "I'm like you, Isaac."
Isaac looked at her, feeling a sudden comfort in her words. He looked at his lap, not being able to believe that the girl sitting next to him was also like him, they were going through the same things and that felt like it brought them together. It gave him a sudden confidence that the hot girl next to him was going through the same things as him. Maybe he could have a chance of getting to know her better.

"Derek! Derek!" Isaac shouted as he ran inside a place unknown to Grace. She gasped as she heard his voice answer Isaac, her eyebrows furrowing as she wondered Isaac's connection with Derek.
"What's wrong?" Derek asked, his voice soft yet laced with a bit of worry for the boy.
"My dad. I think he's dead."
"What did you do?"
"That's the thing. It wasn't me," Isaac said, panting in worry. Derek furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at Isaac, not quite believing he was saying the truth.
"He's telling the truth, Derek," Grace said, slowly walking inside an abandoned train, where the two boys were. Derek's lips parted as he looked at her, her black hair damp from the rain and her hands bloody.
"Did you..?"
"No. I-I didn't kill him. But I was there. I brought Isaac here," Grace said softly as she looked down at her bloody hands, Derek licking his lips as he looked at Isaac, his stare laced with a bit of jealousy as he thought she was already moving on from him, to a boy that she was actually legally allowed to be with.

As Lydia and Allison entered the school, making everybody stop and look at them, Grace joined the two. "I guess we're the school's freak show now, aren't we?"
Allison widened her eyes as she looked at Grace, Lydia knitting her eyebrows together in confusion. "I'm sorry, weren't you in a coma while I was running around naked through the woods?"
"Y--yeah, but now I'm awake."
"How? I mean Scott said you were only getting worse like two days ago," Allison said and Grace looked at her, faking a smile before telling her a white lie. She didn't trust her best friend, especially when she shared the last name of the family who had just declared war against them all.
"Okay, well I was in the hospital while apparently Grace was in a coma and Allison was doing god-knows-what so, anyone care to fill me in?"
Allison smiled as she told her everything that happened, leaving out the supernatural parts. As they kept talking, Grace excused herself as she went to the lacrosse practice, sitting in a bleacher between two boys she didn't know that kept staring at her. Specifically at her boobs, making Grace say something in the lines of get your eyes off my body before I tear them out of yours.
As the two boys moved in a frightened matter, Grace watched the practice laughing as her brother escaped the goal to attack everyone in the line. It was hilarious until Isaac's turn came. They both flew until they fell to the ground, Grace slowly standing up as she saw both of their eyes had turned yellow, walking towards both of them, bending down to both their levels.
"Guys, remember we're in public," she whispered, "So I suggest you both control yourselves and get to the game."
The three of them were pulled out of their conversation as three officers came to deliver the news that Isaac's father was dead. "We're gonna need Grace McCall, as well," one of the officers said, making Scott look at Grace with furrowed eyebrows.
"Grace, did you--"
"No. I didn't kill him. But I, um, I was there," Grace whispered, walking towards the officers as soon as they signaled for her to go with them. Isaac looked at her, fear running through his veins as he heard one of the police radios say they were going to be held in as suspects in the same cell. It wasn't the fact that they were suspects that made fear run through his veins, it was the fact that it was a full moon and they were going to be held in the same room.

Grace tapped her feet on the linoleum floor of her cell as she stared at the ceiling, the teenage werewolf who shared a cell with her sitting cross legged in the floor as he stared at the cell door. It was already dark out and it was a full moon, which scared Grace only for the simple reason that she was trapped in a tiny cell with a werewolf who had the urge to maim and kill people.
She widened her eyes as she saw the moonlight softly hitting the floor of the cell, making Isaac stand up in front of the metal door, reclining against it as his breath got heavy. Grace sat as far away from him as she could as she felt her heart going faster by the minute.
As Isaac turned, Grace's breathing hitched as she looked at Isaac in his werewolf form, his bright yellow eyes looking directly at her. She felt her heart pound in her chest as he growled at her. "Isaac... please."
Yet, he ignored her pleads as he charged towards her, Grace avoiding him at the last minute, making him crash against the wall and look back at her, his breath heavy and his mind circulating on the fact that he wanted to maim and kill something, her specifically as she was locked in a cell with him. Isaac looked at her, going towards her with a roar, making her push him towards the small toilet which drew a little blood on his head. Her breathing got heavier as her fingernails turned to claws, much bigger than Isaac's and her teeth turned to fangs, her eyes changing to a bright lavender color.
Isaac stood up, pinning Grace to the small bed on the cell. She kicked him away, his body weight breaking the cell room open as she took the blanket on the bed and threw it on him, hiding under the desk beside the cell. At that moment, an officer came in, reeking of blood with Stiles next to him, making them victims to a recently turned Isaac. Stiles quickly hid under the desk as well, widening his eyes as he saw Grace there, too, gasping as he saw her lavender eyes.
"No, no, it's okay, I won't hurt you, Stiles," she whispered as she looked at her claws. They weren't as small as everyone else's, they were long and resembled nails— the ones you build with— with the ends just as sharp.
As Isaac just about almost killed the officer, Derek came in and stepped on the wolfsbane needle, looking at Isaac on his werewolf form who just looked at Grace, who had come out of the desk and was ready for Isaac to come charging at her. Isaac snarled, yet just as he was about to attack Grace, Derek stepped in front of him and let out a roar, indicating that he was the one in charge. Grace covered her ears, whimpering as the roar sent a shiver down her spine. Isaac didn't have the same effect, he just whimpered like a hurt dog and hid away from Derek, turning back to his human form.
"How did you do that?" Stiles asked.
"I'm the alpha."

Guess who's being responsible af and has brought you two chapters in four days? Adri! Anyways, I know some of you are still really confused so I'm going to clarify some things. 1) yes, she did lose the baby, that's why Derek said she was pregnant.
2) No, she's not a werewolf or a vampire, you guys will know better in the next chapter, I promise.
3) does it have anything to do with Peter? Oh, well I dunno maybe you should go back & read again cause a lot of chapters have a lot of foreshadowing lmao
