Hera's P.O.V

We did a short and small wedding ceremony in a meadow surrounded by a peaceful forest. We invited Zeb, Sabine, Ashoka (Kanan's boss) Chopper and Phantom. Mr. Sumar was my pastor who helped with getting us wedded. We had Ezra help out with being the ring bearer. Then, all of us went back to our house and had a party. When everyone left, the three of us cleaned the house and went to bed.

Now it is the next day and I'm getting ready to leave for work. Ashoka gave Kanan a day off and decided to use it today to keep Ezra company. I looked at the calendar, it was December 15th. Lothal never gets snow or any cold weather. Kanan and I thought of taking Ezra to Indiana to rent a hotel room and go sledding. Then we would give him a big surprise. A beeping from my watch told me it was time to go. I grabbed my bag and walked over to the door. "Bye loves, see you at 3:30". And with that said, I was out the door and off to work.

*time skip*

Ezra's P.O.V

It was 2:30 and I was just reading a book in my room. A scratching noise came form my door. I got off of my bed and went over to the door and opening it to reveal Phantom. "Hey boy," I said petting his head. Phantom came in and sat next to the bed. He would sometimes come in and listen to me read my book. Phantom sprawled out on the floor and waited for me to read the story. I went back over and sat down, reading the book where I left off. A couple of minutes later, I heard someone run up the stairs and into a bedroom. 'I wonder what Kanan is doing?' I thought. Phantom was asleep so I quietly crept out of the room and over to my guardians room. Kanan came out of the room and almost ran into me. "What are you doing?" I asked him. I noticed he had his police gear on. "Ezra, I need to go help out with a robbery. Can you stay here by yourself?" He said quickly. I smiled and nodded my head. "That's my boy, Hera will be home in a little bit. Bye!" He yelled running down the stairs and out the door. I laughed at him and went back to read my book.

*time skip* (sorry with all the time skips)

Hera's P.O.V

"Oh no, oh no, oh no," I said frantically driving back to my house. I was just writing on some papers when I got a phone call that made me run out of the room.

*flashback*

I'm grading my student's tests while they are silently having study hall. I'm a teacher at Rebellion High School and the bell was going to ring in a half an hour. The phone started to ring and I answered it. "Is this Mrs. Jarrus?" A woman's voice said on the other side of the phone. "Yes, who is this?" I asked. "My name is Eve and I need to tell you something....".

All of a sudden I drop my phone and run out of the room leaving my confused students.

*end of flashback*

I parked the car on the side of the road and ran to the front door, unlocking it.

Ezra's P.O.V

I got bored of reading my book and went down stairs to watch something on TV. I just sat down when I hear the door open. "Ezra, We need to go now!" Hera said frantically. I got up and saw Hera at the front door with worry written all over her face. "Car, now," she said almost shouting. I was beginning to worry now, "Hera, what's wrong?" I asked trying to calm her down. "Ezra Bridger, get to the car, immediately!" Hera yelled getting frustrated. I flinched a little and slowly nodded my head. She was already in the car and I slowly got myself into the car.

Once the car door shut, Hera started to drive. I buckled up and said in a quiet and scared tone, "what's going on?". She seemed to boil with rage, "why in the world do you want to know?!" She shouted. Now, I was mad, "Because your scaring me!" I yelled. Her frustrated expression dissolved into guilt. Tears started to fall down her face, "I'm so sorry, Ezra". Hera parked the car and got out with me following. If I wasn't worried before, now I was. I trudged along by her side and went into a huge white building that I didn't recognize. We both went inside and to a desk with a window. The person on the other side of the window opened it and said, "name?". "Kanan Jarrus," Hera said with a calm voice. "Sorry Mrs. Jarrus but he is having surgery right now," the woman said. Hera nodded her head and went to sit down. Again, I followed and sat down right next to her, "Hera, what's going on and where are we?". "We are in a hospital and Kanan got into a car crash," she said shaking a bit. I think I understand but there was still some more than what she is saying. "You aren't telling me everything," I said. "Kanan crashed the car so hard that it he hit his heart hard," she explained, "if you hit the heart to hard, you could die. Kanan hit his pretty hard that there's a possible chance he could...". Hera didn't even have to finish her sentence for me to understand.

My anchor, the person who inspires me, my almost new father, a man who actually cared and loved me could be laying on his death bed. I started to cry to myself and Hera gave me a hug, letting out some more tears of her own. I returned the embrace by hugging back. I'm not sure how long we were sitting there when a nurse came in. "Mrs Jarrus?" The nurse came  out and Hera stood up. The nurse came over, "I'm sorry to say this but...."
