"When's our next game again?"

"Next Thursday you idiot."

"Right... I knew that..."

"Oh... By the way, where's Chanyeol?" Baekhyun spoke up, peeling his eyes away from his cold noodles.

"You're right, I haven't seen him the whole day and I'm his best friend too," Sehun stated and Baekhyun scoffed.

"Right. I bet he likes me more than you," Baekhyun challenged and Sehun raised an eyebrow, leaning forwards in his chair and putting his arms on the table.

The seating arrangements changed because Chanyeol didn't show up so everything just got mixed up. Everyone was sitting in a different spot and now Baekhyun found himself in front of Sehun and beside Junmyeon and Jongin.

"Really? I've known him three times longer than how long you've known him," he retorted and Baekhyun rolled his eyes.

"Big deal, I know he loves me."

"If only you..." Baekhyun couldn't catch the rest of the words Junmyeon said and he brushed it off because at the moment he was having a challenge with Sehun.

"How are you so sure about that? For all you know, Chanyeol has a girlfriend. That ass is always hanging around this one girl. He probably has a girlfriend," Sehun stated.

"I have a what?"

Baekhyun chuckled to himself when Sehun turned around shockingly, facing Chanyeol who was standing there with his arms crossed.

"Oh, hi Chanyeol..."

"So, continue with what you were saying..." Chanyeol urged but Sehun just coughed awkwardly.

"I was saying nothing dude."

"Okay then. Anyways guys, I have someone to introduce you guys to," Chanyeol mentioned and everyone's attention was on him.

"Oh, new teammate? But wait isn't it too late to add another person or is that allowed?" Xiumin questioned and Chanyeol shook his head.

Baekhyun took a drink out of his water bottle while watching Chanyeol. He saw someone behind Chanyeol but he seemed short, shorter than Baekhyun.

"I want to introduce you to my girlfriend."

Baekhyun choked on his water and slammed his water bottle down on the table, coughing as he hit his chest multiple times. Junmyeon patted his back while asking if he was okay and everyone else just sat in stunned silence.

"Oppa~ I haven't accepted you yet," a girly voice sounded from behind Chanyeol and a girl emerged from behind him.

Oh, so it's a 'she' not a 'he'...

With tears in his eyes—due to choking—Baekhyun examined the girl. She really was short, she had nice eyes and pretty brown hair that was put into a ponytail and curled.

She bowed politely and everyone still didn't say anything. "Hi, my name is Sandara Park, but you guys can just call me Dara, because whoever Channie is friends with is friends with me," she greeted cheerily and Baekhyun grimaced.

Hearing 'Channie' come from her mouth was like a living nightmare to Baekhyun.

I've got to remember never to call him that ever again... Maybe Yeollie will suffice?

"Hey wait," Baekhyun broke the silence between the boys and Chanyeol looked at him curiously. "Why does she get to call you 'Channie'?"

Chanyeol let out a laugh that seemed to say 'wow-that's-so-obvious'.

"Because, like I said before..." Chanyeol put an arm around her waist and pulled her into his side, causing her to giggle. "She is my girlfriend."

"I-Is she the one who you've been hanging out with a lot?" Sehun asked and Baekhyun finally looked at Sehun's expression.

The kid was terrified.

He looked mad and scared.

He also looked mortified out of his mind.

"Yup." Chanyeol popped the 'p' and Sehun suddenly stood up.

"You've been hanging out with her instead of me?" Sehun asked incredulously and when Chanyeol nodded, Sehun let out a conceited scoff. "You've finally gone crazy." Sehun grabbed his stuff and Chanyeol told him to stop but the younger just continued on, muttering things like 'crazy bastard' and 'stupid ass' under his breath.

Sehun left the table and Chanyeol was about to chase after him but Dara stopped him. "Aren't you going to introduce to me your friends?" She asked and Chanyeol nodded hesitantly.

"This is Xiumin," Chanyeol began and stated some facts before continuing on to the next people. When it finally got to Baekhyun, Baekhyun was giving a sickly sweet smile to Dara. "This is Baekhyun," Chanyeol introduced and Dara smiled back at him. "And that's Junmyeon—"

"Hey! You didn't even say anything about me!" Baekhyun exclaimed and Chanyeol rolled his eyes.

"I don't need to, from one look, anyone could tell that you're annoying and—"

"—One hell of a walking angel. My looks sweep everyone off their feet," Baekhyun spoke confidently and Chanyeol was about to retort something rude before Dara cut in with her laughing.

"Channie, he's funny," she stated and Baekhyun already hated her.

Don't get him wrong, Baekhyun didn't hate her because she was dating Chanyeol—he couldn't actually care less who Chanyeol was dating -he only hated her because she acted as if it was only her and her 'Channie' in the world.

Baekhyun suddenly made up his mind not to let her call Chanyeol 'Channie'. Because that was his nickname and he wouldn't give up so easily.

"Like I was saying before I was interrupted, this is Junmyeon, leader of the SRG. He's pretty good looking. He's also one of my best friends."

At the mention of best friends, Baekhyun remembered about Sehun.

He couldn't just let the poor guy be sad himself, and so Baekhyun stood up.

"Sorry, I'm going to have to go now," Baekhyun stated and Chanyeol raised an eyebrow.

"Where and why?"

"You're not my mom, Channie—"

"Don't call me that."

"I don't care. I'm going."

"Where?"

"I'm just going to go! Is that such a big problem?"

"Yes it is. Just tell me where you're going." Chanyeol looked at him and Baekhyun felt himself shrinking under his gaze.

"I'm going to find Sehun, alright?" Baekyun asked before sighing, picking up his tray.

"You don't need to find Sehun—"

"Yes I do. Now leave me alone and go suck your girlfriend's face or something."

Chanyeol scoffed, shaking his head. "Fine, I will." He suddenly pulled Dara into a lip lock and Baekhyun turned away quickly, his gaze dropping to the ground.

For some reason, he couldn't stomach seeing them kissing, even for one millisecond.

Okay, so maybe Baekhyun did care that Chanyeol was dating Dara.

Baekhyun eventually gave up on finding Sehun, now just walking aimlessly in the hallways. He searched pretty far and wide for the youngster but he couldn't find him.

He had a few minutes until class, and yet again he finds himself standing in front of a familiar door.

Except this time, it's slightly opened unlike the usual times where he'd go here alone.

He pulled open the door a bit more and heard voices inside.

"Wow, it's a very nice guitar..." It was Dara's voice.

"I know... I got it for my birthday." Chanyeol's voice...

"Hey, do you want to open the window?" Dara asked and Baekhyun hid himself, taking his head out of the doorway.

He heard the faint noises of the window opening and Dara's voice, saying that it felt nice.

"But it's snowing, aren't you cold? Here, take my coat." Chanyeol said and Baekhyun clenched his fists, closing his eyes.

This feeling of hurt... Baekhyun's felt it before.

Baekhyun clenched his teeth when Dara asked for Chanyeol to play a song, and he played the exact song he showed Baekhyun.

He felt slightly sad that everything that happened between Chanyeol and Baekhyun was happening with Chanyeol and his new girlfriend- no wait, scratch that. Baekhyun felt beyond depressed. So sad that if someone walked near him, they'd feel the air of melancholy surrounding him.

Yes, Baekhyun knew exactly which feelings these were.

He was jealous. And maybe, just maybe... He had a small crush on Chanyeol.

"Can you play me another song?" She asked.

"Okay..."

And suddenly, the melody of the song Baekhyun and Chanyeol had created together began flowing through his ears. Each time they met up in this classroom, in between classes or at lunch time, they'd write a new line.

They were nearly finished writing the song and Baekhyun didn't know if he had the heart to continue.

At that moment, Baekhyun was coming to realize that this small crush was actually a pretty big crush.

Chanyeol finished playing whatever they had of the song, and Baekhyun heard him speak again.

"Hey, I need help finishing this. Can you help me?"

Baekhyun's heart seemed to lodge up inside his throat and his stomach twisted uneasily. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Sure!" She chirped and in the next minute, they were finishing Chanyeol and Baekhyun's song together.

It was already class time, but it didn't seem that any of the three cared. One of them was too busy having his heart broken while the other two were having sweet times together.

Baekhyun was one small push away from crying, even if he didn't want to.

He didn't know when his feelings for Chanyeol turned into this. Maybe it was when he helped him last game, or even the game before when Chanyeol was the most amazing person he's ever met... Or maybe it could have been when he first saw the captain... Baekhyun just decided that these feelings began after seeing all of Chanyeol's stupid smiles and dumb jokes.

A few minutes more until they finished the song with the lyrics: 'I love you' and Baekhyun felt so horrible. He knew he wasn't even that important to Chanyeol, but to Baekhyun, Chanyeol was priceless.

It was sad that his crush- actually, at this point he can't even lie to himself and say it was crush anymore... It was sad that the person he might actually love just disregarded their moments like something they'd throw in the trash.

"Fuck this..." Baekhyun muttered and bolted down the hall, not able to hear Chanyeol serenading her with the song he showed and made with Baekhyun first.

What Baekhyun didn't know, though, was that the two heard his running footsteps and after checking, they saw his retreating figure down the hall.

And what Baekhyun didn't know was that Chanyeol felt something turn upside down in his own world.
