ABOUT
Known as the only daughter of singer-songwriter Rafael Santiago and supermodel Hazel Vargas. In 2019, she began starring as the title character in the Broadway production Evita.

BEFORE FAME
In 2002, she was featured, alongside her mother on the cover of American Vogue. In 2006, she was nominated for a Grammy and Latin Grammy award, the latter which she won, after her father featured her singing on "Luna Lunaroo", song that he'd written for her.

She gained her own popularity on her lunasantiago Instagram account which has received over 665,000 followers. There she's shared videos of herself playing various instruments and performing covers of popular songs. She's also shared her passion for photography.

From the years 2018 to 2023, she attended The Juilliard School in New York City, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. In 2019, due to staring on Evita, she took a break from college. In 2020, she went back to school after the play got shut down due to Covid-19, six months after her Broadway debut.

FAMILY LIFE
Rafael Santiago and Hazel Vargas met in 1993 at a Grammy's after party and got married in San Francisco in 1996. Before Luna was born, her parents moved from Los Angeles to Boston, hoping to give their daughter a normal childhood. They lived there until Luna moved out for college in 2018.

She's been rumored to have been in various relationships with people in and out of the public eye. The most recurring rumor being about her and her childhood friend, Elijah Hewson, son of U2's lead singer. She has shut down rumors many times via her social media accounts where she has called Hewson an "older brother figure" and "best friend".

ASSOCIATED WITH
She's childhood best friends with Soren Vasquez, YouTube Star and daughter of celebrity make-up artist and stylist María Delgado.

During her college years she lived with Soren, Iris Wallace, actress and daughter of author Dominic Wallace, and Miles Campbell, grandson of tv and film producer Eliot Campbell.

Nowadays, she still lives in New York City with childhood friend Grace Burns, supermodel, and daughter of television and film actor Edward Burns and supermodel Christy Turlington.
