Toby
(A/n) My dad is playing Careless Whisper over and over again. It's great, but that will not affect this chapter. It shall not! ~Tiny
Christopher's POV
It's been a long week this week. We constantly investigated the same place, since Toby's father wouldn't let us go to the spot where the note was found. For some reason we decided to hold a meeting at my house. Three of us were already here. The other two were running late, like normal. The people here are Jax, Toby, and me. We are all sitting or standing in my kitchen. Something was a little off though. It felt as if we were being watched by someone. My parents were both at work, so it could not be them. We don't have cameras either. It's probably just me being paranoid or something.
"When will the other two get here?" Toby whins. He puts his head on the table. He reminds me of a little kid who is bored at a restaurant. I kind of want to pat him like a dog. It would be funny for me, but he probably would react poorly, so I won't do that, no matter how tempting it can be. I shrug at his question. He sighs.
"Don't worry Toby, they'll get here soon," Jax says trying to cheer him up. They've come close ever since they have met, which is good for her. She needs more people to be her friend. Toby seems to have perked up a little, but not much.
"Yeah, they'll be here soon. You know them. They are always late," I state. Toby nods and sits up.
"You're right. They are always late," he agrees. I smile at him. He smiles at me. He still thinks I'm a murderer. Maybe he thinks I murdered them. I chuckle at the thought. "What?"
"Nothing, just thought that Josh might try to make an entrance," I lie. Toby giggles and Jax gives off a slight laugh.
"Hey, um, Christopher, where is your bathroom?" Jax asks me.
"It's downstairs in the basement down the hallway to the right," I direct. She nods as a 'thank you' gesture. She walks off to the bathroom.
"I thought Jason knew what on time meant," Toby says. I laugh.
"He does, but Josh doesn't," I tell him. We both crack up. We settle down and Toby stand up.
"What would your parents do if they found out that you murdered Jeremy?" Toby asks me. I stare t him. He sneers at me. "Would they cry?" He steps closer to me. "Or would they be proud?" He takes another step. "Will they shun you for your wrong doings?" Another one. "Or will they hug you, since the whole family is a bunch of murderers?" His eyes goes black. They are just like that monster's eyes. It was like it followed me here or did it follow Jax. It step closer to me. I back away from him. "Why can't you admit to being a murderer, Christopher?"
"Because I'm not one!" I shout at him.
"You slaughtered him, but why? Oh, I know, because you wanted his girl. You were jealous of him, so you murdered him. You couldn't stand that he had her and you didn't. That's why you killed him," he spits. He charges at me. I hit the counter. I reach behind me and grab something. He jumps at me and I move out of the way. I throw the object in my hand at him. It is a knife. The blade hits him directly in the center of his forehead. He falls to his knees. His eyes turned back to normal. He is done. He is dead.
(A/n) The song, that is still being played for some reason, clearly didn't effect this chapter. Welp, I hope you enjoyed, even it was another crappy murder scene. I hope to see you in the next chapter. Peace. ~Tiny
