Chapter-2

"Someone's popular."

I glanced at the pink haired girl leaning on the locker next to me.

I raised my eyebrow at her.

"The party. Zach. You. Beer."she smirked. I sighed.

"It was epic though. The look on his face. Anyways the rumour is you won't be alive much longer."she said while chewing her gum.

I shut my locker and start walking towards our first class. I could hear the people around me whispering and pointing at us. Or more specifically me.

Why?
Because I was the crazy ex-girlfriend who after one year of breakup threw beer on her ex. Oh, let's not forget that the ex-boyfriend happens to be one of the most popular boy in school. And a player.

Such nice high school gossip.

They should be thanking me for making their Monday this entertaining.

But I had to be on my guard. He would want revenge. For his reputation. For what I did to him.

Sophia and I parted on reaching my history class. We did not have any classes together in the first half which was very unfortunate. But on the bright side I did not share any of my classes with Satan himself either. I sighed and went inside.

As soon as I entered the class all conversation ceased and the whispers began. I wouldn't call that whispering though. I could damn well hear what they were saying.

"That's Carmen White. She's the one who threw the beer on Zach."

" What a big attention seeker."

"Is she still pining on him after this long? What a loser."

I rolled my eyes at their childishness.

I plopped down on my desk and kept my head down and closed my eyes trying to block all of them.

Until I felt someone poke me.

I opened one of my eyes and saw a guy with a Cheshire cat grin on his face. He waved. Okay. Weirdo alert.

I have never seen this guy in my life. He was good looking though. He had messy black hair and striking blue eyes. The only creepy thing about him was his smile. How can anyone be this cheerful in the morning? That too on a Monday.

I sat up straight and gave him a questioning look.

"You must be Carmen White."

How does he know?

"I am a new student. Joined today. And well everyone's been talking about a Carmen White this morning and looking at others pointing at you right now is a big help to know your identity." He talked 10 words a second. How was I supposed to keep up?

"Apparently, I am the most interesting thing to them today." I said while rolling my eyes.

"Aw. Give them a break, sweetheart. They are 'teenagers'." He said waving his hands around.

I gave him my best death glare. "Do not call me sweetheart. Ever."

"Ah! I can see the charm that everyone's been talking about."

I opened my mouth to respond but was cut off by the teacher who was entering the classroom.

I took my book out and opened it but was startled by a voice next to me.

He leaned next to me and whispered in my ear,"Dylan. Dylan Stone."

I ignored him for the whole period.

.....................................................

Currently I was trying to blend myself among my peers in the corridors. I had average height so it was not that hard. I could hear Creepy Guy a.k.a Dylan Stone pushing around and calling my name but I did not stop. I turned around a corner and looked for him but there was no sign of him. I let out a breath in relief. I turned back around and screamed.

There he was leaning against the wall staring at me with that grin of his. People stared. I just screamed people. Care to help?

They all just kept moving not staring at us anymore.

I guess no help was arriving. I glanced at Dylan. I had to deal with him on own. I groaned.

"Let's leave the groaning and moaning for the bedroom, sweetheart." He smirked.

I pushed him away and kept on walking towards my next class. History. Ugh.

"Hey White! Wait! I have no idea where my next class is. It's history. If you could, you know...." He trailed off with a sheepish look on his face.

I rolled my eyes. "Try and keep up, Cheshire Cat."

.....................................................

History is one stupid subject. Aren't we supposed to forget about our past and focus on the future?

How did our teacher even expect to learn all this stuff? It was easy for him. He was present during the World War II if his looks were any hint.

"Okay. I got another one." The person behind me whispered.

I groaned. For the past 15 minutes Dylan Stone had been whispering his stupid puns to me. They were dumb and not punny at all. Is punny even a word?

The boy was only good for the eyes and nothing else. Specially not for the brain. I must have lost a large number of my brain cells by now.

"I changed my IPhone's name to Titanic. It's syncing now." He snickered at his own joke. Oh sorry, pun.

I rolled my eyes.

"You know what, White? I used to have a fear of hurdles. But I got over it."

Good God! I prefer World War II over this torture.

"Fine. You made me believe it, Stone." I whispered to him.

"Made you believe what exactly? That I am THE pun master?"

"Why people get abortions done." I smirked.

His grin fell being replaced by a scowl.

I blew him a kiss and turned back around towards the teacher.

Reeeaaaalllyy short chapter. I know. UGH. I am sorry.
