14 - "Here We Go."

14 – "Here We go."

"I'd be a little more comfortable having a weapon," Selina commented to Dean.

They were on their way to their destination: Hell. The two had kept low for a while, mostly to make sure the plan was solid.

"Well, if the dynamic duo show up, steal Cas's," Dean told her.

"I can't believe we're actually gonna go through with this."

"You can't back out now, we're close."

Selina exhaled loudly. Out of the two, she was the lesser fighter. Dean could take out a whole hoard of demons if he really wanted to. It would be effortless for him, like slaughtering humans. This was more than killing for sport; this was killing with a purpose. Revenge, for Selina. Freedom, for Dean. Well, perhaps it was to secure Selina's freedom permanently as well.

Without the King, she would have no one to report to. She could roam about Earth as she pleased and do what she wanted. It'd be the sweetest reward.

Dean pulled off the road to ensure the stolen car wasn't seen.

"You ready for this?"

"Yeah," Selina breathed. "Are you?"

"If things go south, improvise. If it gets really bad, you got a split second to make the fight-or-flight decision."

"What are you gonna choose?" Selina raised a curious brow.

"You'll see if it comes to that."

The two climbed out of the car. Selina rounded the front of the car, pushing Dean against it, kissing him roughly. He responded back with equal lust.

The two found themselves in the back of the car, managing a good time in the confined space.

"What spurred this?" Dean rasped. The two were untangling themselves in the back seat.

"Just if things go really bad," said Selina, who was digging through the clothes to find hers. She tossed Dean his.

After dressing (and almost going for a second round), Selina and Dean finally exited the car. Dean took lead, as he knew the way to Hell's entrance.

The fact that it was in an abandoned warehouse creeped Selina out slightly. The two exchanged nods. As practiced, they called upon their power, forcing the door open. No sentry was in sight when they stepped in.

Instead of the temperature rising, Selina felt it actually cool, almost to the point where she could see her puffs of breath.

"Here we go," she muttered.

"Here we go," Dean agreed.

The two crept through the halls of Hell. They were nowhere near the dungeon area, as Selina knew they would have already heard the screams of the damned. So far, so good. Don't let your time here distract you.

When the two rounded a corner, that's when they ran into trouble. Before the guards could shout, Selina and Dean finished them off. Well, Dean did. Selina got in her few punches. Any unconscious guards she knocked out, he stabbed to make sure they didn't come back.

"You got a map?" Selina whispered. They were following the torches that lit up the halls.

"No, but, the more demons we run into, it means we're close."

As they rounded another corner, they ran into more guards. Selina and Dean broke off, respectively fighting their hoards. Dean took care of his faster, he went to help Selina finish off hers.

"I got this," she hissed.

"You got nothing to kill them with."

"Then toss the knife to me so I can do so once you're finished! I told you, I hate being without a weapon. Makes me look like the weaker target."

As the two continued their tour through Hell, Selina kept her senses on alert. She was the one to look over their shoulders in case word did get out that there was a siege upon Hell.

When they found the double doors, and, surprise-surprise, more guards, Selina knew this was it. The final obstacle.

With a nod between the two, Selina and Dean took care of the guards. Selina blew open the doors with her power, startling all the demons in the room.

Crowley, the King of Hell, sat, startled, upon his throne.

"What in the bloody hell?" he screeched. The messenger near him stood, petrified. Others in the room watched the two carefully, ready to pounce at the snap of fingers, or a command.

"Hiya," Selina said casually, whistling, as she and Dean entered the room.

"What is this?"

"Whatever do you mean?" Selina smirked. "This has been some time coming, your majesty. Time for you to suffer like all the damned in your dungeons."

"I don't deliver the punishment myself! How is it that I'm the target here?"

"Oh, do you want to scurry away? Go ahead, try. We'll catch you, little mouse." Selina flashed her eyes, Dean mimicked her.

Crowley looked, wild-eyed, at his followers. "Why are you standing there like gaping morons?! Kill them!"

Dean chuckled. "You know what happens if you kill me."

Exchanging a look, Selina and Dean took on the demons descending towards them. Selina was quick to avoid any weapons swung her way. She managed to take hold of one weapon, feeling more powerful.

One by one, Crowley's minions fell dead at the hands of Selina and Dean. When he was down to his last few, Crowley scurried off his throne. Selina caught sight of him first. She tore off after him, tackling her King to the ground.

"Where do you think you're going? You're missing all the fun!"

"You bitch. I gave you freedom, time out for good behavior, and this is how you repay me?!"

"You should have known this was coming sooner or later." Selina turned Crowley over. He was not amused, but he wasn't exactly frightened of her either. She held the weapon in her hand tightly, raising it above her head.

Just as Selina threw her arm down, a hand grabbed her wrist.

Grunting, Selina looked over her shoulder. Son of a bitch!

With a strong tug, Cas launched Selina off of Crowley. She landed on her back, the weapon jumped out of her hand. As she got herself sitting up, her jaw locked. Cas stood protectively in front of Crowley. In her peripheral, she saw Dean engaging his brother, Sam, in a fight.

"Well, holy shit," Selina commented, catching her breath. Grabbing her weapon, she climbed to her feet.

Selina charged Cas. He was poised with his silver blade, ready to counter and potentially kill her. Cas moved the fight away from Crowley, who watched both bouts from a distance so as to not get himself killed. Selina kicked out at the angel.

"Don't worry, I'll try and kill you quickly," Selina cooed. "Dean will dispose of Sam, and then we'll properly dismantle the king."

"Not if we've got a say in it."

"You do remember the last time we fought, right? You weren't looking so hot then."

A force hit Selina's back, sending her off balance. Sam had been thrown into her back, and she had stumbled towards Cas. She ducked out of the way of the silver blade, catching the angel in the arm with hers.

With a burst of power, Selina shot the angel towards the nearest wall. She'd heard a crack, but it wasn't the angel's skull against the bricks. It was rather him breaking the wall, getting himself wedged in there. Selina kept up her power, keeping him pressed. He remained barely conscious, his ocean-eyes barely staying open.

Selina cast a side-glance at the other fight. Sam was beat up pretty good, and Dean wasn't letting up. Finish him, Dean. Finish him, and then help me finish the angel, and the king. Then, we'll be free.

Speaking of the King, he still maintained a healthy distance away from the fight. Why isn't he running?

With a sharp elbow to his face, Sam fell to the floor in a heap. Dean, like before, stood over him, breathing heavily.

"Do it," Selina snarled under her breath, watching the scene intently. "Finish him, Dean."

"If I may interrupt this entertainment," Crowley cut in, edging in closer to the fight.

"Some backup you recruited," Selina spat to him. "You'll be the last one standing, but not for long."

Crowley's dark eyes twinkled. "Oh, you're right about that, Selina. I will be standing, but I may not be the last one. You have been a very disobedient little bitch."

This caught Dean's attention. "What are you talking about, Crowley?"

"Oh, she never told you. I expected as much, being that it would save her hide. Your little demon slut, she's been under my orders."

Selina bulged her eyes. What is he doing?

"I sent her out as a watchdog for you, Dean. I wasn't expecting her to turn to you. In fact, I'm amazed she's even still alive. When you went too dark for even me, I had to have someone keep an eye on you."

Selina's heart ran into a panic. He's destroying that bridge with Dean. Dean...

Selina watched Dean's expression go from murderous to even more murderous.

"I had to have someone spy on you for me, I can't exactly do it myself. Kingly duties to uphold and all that rubbish," Crowley continued nonchalantly.

Selina kept a very wary eye on Dean as he abandoned Sam's unconscious form and headed towards her. From power exhaustion, or sheer fear, her body began to tremble.

"Is he telling the truth?" Dean demanded of her.

"He didn't put a hit out on you," Selina retorted.

"That's not what I asked." He grabbed hold of her arm. "Is Crowley telling the truth?"

"Demons lie, Dean."

"Yeah, I know. But for once, I don't think he's the one lying here." His eyes narrowed. "I'm not asking again."

"I did spy for him, for a time," Selina admitted. "But that's before you chose to let me tag along. It was before you chose to show me just how powerful I can really be, and just what chaos the two of us can cook up. It stopped being an assignment when we paraded around the country creating new slaughterhouses."

Dean shook his head. "Should've known it was coincidence I ran into another demon. For the longest time, I was left alone. And then you came in, fresh out of Hell."

"That part was true."

"Yeah, but you forgot to mention you were let out by Crowley." The grip on his blade tightened.

Shit. Selina felt an internal struggle form. Keep Cas pinned to the wall or release him and take on Dean? She knew he wasn't going to forgive her for this. The inevitable was about to happen.

Dean Winchester was going to try and kill her.

**You feel it, folks? You feel the tension?
