I had quite a few of the dolls, and watched some of the show, but not all of it. I'm starting to rewatch it, and I was looking at Tik Toks on it, and apparently its gay.

If you don't know the show, here's a quick summary:

So basically, the story goes that Apple (the daughter of Snow White) is a Royal™ (wants to follow in her mother's footsteps). But Raven (daughter of the Evil Queen) is a Rebel™ (wants to write her own story). Of course, Apple can't have her story without the Evil Queen, so that's like the main focus of the show, with an escaped Evil Queen (banished to their mirror dimension) and finding the Story Book of Legends™ (what the sign to follow in their parents footsteps) sprinkled in. Oh, and it's a high school setting. Anyway, everyone thinks that her Prince Charming™ is gonna be Daring Charming (son of Prince Charming).

This, of course, leaves some questions. Like how, if he's supposed to follow in his father's footsteps, since he's a Royal™, does that mean he's Apple's sibling, or at the very least half-sibling? Or does the family have one kid to follow one of their footsteps, and the other parent's destiny get assigned to a random family? Since this is a kid show, its probably the second option, even though looks, like hair color, eye color, and skin tone could say other wise, but that's a whole different story I don't wanna go into.

Anyway, Prince Charming has three kids. There's his oldest, Daring Charming (the conceded, popular one), the middle kid, Dexter Charming (the shy, dorky one, who I wanted to be with when I was younger), and finally, his youngest, Darling Charming (who is kinda just in the background until the Wonderland season, where she is revealed to be the White Knight.)

Now that that's over with, here's the gay part. Something happens where Apple is poisoned. The only way to wake her up is with a True Love's Kiss™. Daring kisses her, but she doesn't wake up.
Dexter doesn't even THINK about kissing her. But Darling does.
And, get this,

SHE WAKES UP.

So, Apple's Prince Charming™ is actually a Princess Charming™!!!

But there's a catch that's still in my head:

Darling is a Revel™.

She wants to go on adventures. But there's another catch:

It was never specified what her original story was supposed to be.

I have two theories:

The storybook of legends is homophobic and Cupid (who's daughter goes to both Monster High and Ever After High) had other ideas. (This one makes the most sense of the two.)

OR

Assuming that her and Apple aren't related, her 'mother' is unspecified as well. So, what if she doesn't have a mother? What if she has two fathers, one if which is the White Knight?

This would work if it wasn't for the fact that she was a Rebel™, but let me explain why this would work anyway.

My first reason is that we don't have anyone that can take up the White Knight's mantel. We have an upcoming Red Knight, which is also proven in the Wonderland season, but not a White Knight. And forbidden love is alive and well in this universe, since Little Red Riding Hood is married to the Big Bad Wolf (I think he's a hybrid, but he could very well be a werewolf since the Monster High Universe and Ever After High are canonically corrected, but that's a theory for another day).

But why would this relationship be forbidden? Well, LGBTQ+ representation in kid's shows wasn't a thing when this show was still running, so there's that. And, a traditional relationship, is still consider one between a man and woman, so traditional fairy tales should follow 'traditional' rules.

We also have the fact that everyone thought that Daring was gonna be Apple's Prince Charming™. We never actually saw Daring look at his destiny in the storybook of legends, or any of the Charmings for that matter. But, we do see Apple's. It is a male kissing her. So, she could easily be following her other father's footsteps.

Additionally, C.A. Cupid (daughter if Cupid) can make people fall in love with her bow, which effected both Ashlynn's (daughter of Cinderella) and Hunter's (son if a Huntsman), and their decision (sadly, Ashlynn already signed) on whether or not they were Royal™ or Rebel™, which DOES effect their story.

O.G. Cupid must have his say in the relationships that unfold in these stories, meaning that he could have made these two end up together, which automatically leaves Dexter or Daring as the White Knight.

She would call herself a Rebel™ in order to hide her parent's secret, just like how Cerise (daughter of Little Red Riding Hood) pretended to be human in order to hide hers'.

Personally, I prefer this theory because it's more confusing and has more

I haven't finished watching the show, and there isn't much evidence supporting this theory, but its still fun to think about.
