1.So I was looking through some other people's "adoptables" books and realized that some (a lot/most)of them have other people's art/characters/adoptables as their own adoptables (does that make sense?). This would mean that as someone adopting the character from the adoptable book, you would be using the character's design that someone is already using. If you got permission from the artist to use that picture, then I'd say it's fine and I don't have a problem with it really if it's stuff like warrior cats because there's only so many "natural" looks you can do with cats before it starts repeating. Heck, even the series itself had cats that looked alike. I would at least credit the original artist if you use a base/ f2u lineart so people know that you colored it and didn't steal it.

Here's something I recently commented on someone's adoptables book where it (obviously) was someone else's art/adoptable:

*I'm sorry if this sounds rude to you, but you shouldn't use other people's art for adoptables. This is an adoptable that someone made for money and it isn't fair to the creator of the adoptable or the person who bought it if you give away this adoptable (or some of the other adoptables you have). People take their time to make these adoptables and people spend their money on them so it isn't fair for you to give it away for free.If you got credit to post up some of the adoptables that you have, then you should write in the chapter that you got credit. If you didn't get credit, you shouldn't post them up. It's unfair to everyone.This is STEALING the art and the adoptable.I suggest you take down the adoptables that you found off of the internet.If you don't want to draw your own adoptables, USE BASES. It's much better if you uses bases/lineart that you colored in than stealing art/adoptables. Also, you should credit the people who make the bases if you end up coloring in bases/f2u lineart for adoptables so people know that it isn't something someone has already done.*

EDIT: They replied and they were SUPER polite and understanding about the whole situation and took the adopts that they didn't do off of their book. I am not going to delete the comment I pasted in this chapter from their adoptables book because I think that it's good for people to read who might be in a situation like this.

2. People using "your" and "their"when it's supposed to be "you're" and "they're".

I rarely comment about people's grammar and punctuation mistakes but I really wish people could just use proper grammar and punctuation in their fanfics and stories.
