Hello readers. I just want to start off by saying that my emotions work in strange ways. I could feel no remorse over a murderer being killed "because they deserve it." But I will tear up at the sight of an elderly/senior person struggling with something, despite trying to convince myself that "it's fantastic that they made it to senior ages. Many people don't."

So what got this started. Well I was looking through lists of fanfics and this happened.

I was not prepared for this. I haven't even read it and I had to stop for a minute because the mere thought of this tore me apart.

But I digress.

But this.

It's a one shot on Archive of Our Own, and it's by brbsoulnomming. I thought that it would be just like any other fanfic. I read it and then clutched my pillow in tears. At this point I'm like "Why are my eyes moist, this hasn't happened in a long time what?" And then to really make it sink in I skim through it and then burst into sobs. Like ACTUAL SOBS. There wasn't an overload of tear, just my eyes were really wet and so is my pillow because I smeared my tears. So my cheeks are dry but the area around my eye were wet. I was actually shaking.

I don't really ship Sherlock and John romantically. They're more of a BroTP. Best bros and best friends for life, ya know. Still this utterly destroyed me. This doesn't happen often (probably 1 or 2 other times) so I thought that I would share this with you.
