Spoiler alert if you haven't watched Austen finally.

I bad at writing stories so I'm just gonna tell you the plot.

Austen goes to the heretic sooner to see if there's a way to survive the wild hunt and finds out the same information he did in his video. He goes to the dragon to see if he can harvest the power of the dragon for his pack when Austen gets there the same thing happens except he is by himself the dragon gives him the scale and tells Austen he will know when he needs to use it. On his way back he sees the wild hunt going towards Rian.  Austen stops them and decides to sacrifice himself not just for Rian but for everyone thus saving everyone from the wild hunt but not completely ending it.
