Ringo Starr Concert

Yesterday (Sunday) I had the privilege of seeing Ringo and his All-Starr Band. It was amazing, so sit down and let me tell you my story.

Ringo was funny and happy and charismatic and it was just a brill experience. The arena was pretty full, and there were people wearing all kinds of band shirts (my best friend and I got bored beforehand and counted. Total tally - Beatles: 27+, Fleetwood Mac: 5, Pink Floyd: 3, Bob Dylan/Foreigner/AC/DC/Santana: 1 each). Speaking of band shirts, they were selling t-shirts there too (they were all pretty cool), and I got one (I promise I'm wearing pants, the shirt's just big on me).

Anyroad, the concert itself was fabulous - all the lads were funny and nice, and they would sing a song then talk a bit, or introduce the next bloke to sing. It was really loud - the kind of loud where you can feel the music from the tips of your toes to your very soul - but that just made it acceptable to scream and sing along (both of which I did, frequently and unabashedly). There were maybe four kids under the age of twenty besides my friend and I, a couple of thirtysomethings, and then everyone else was 50+, but there was still plenty of screaming and "I love you Ringo!!"s, and the crowd was quite enthusiastic. When he sang "You're Sixteen", I made my friend stand up with me and I danced like crazy (I'm only 15 but close enough).

All in all, it was fab - peace signs everywhere, nice people who found 15-year-old girls screaming their lungs out for old men acceptable (and probably amusing), and of course, awesome music. 🎶✌❤

Look at them, in all their crummy-camera glory 😝

Lol aside from Ringo, Todd Rundgren was prolly my favorite - he was such a goofball. 😆

Bye lovelies - comment or pm me if you want to know more. 😘
