1. If I could play an instrument, I would love to play the drums (and I love watching drummers in bands).

2. Speaking of drummers, I get to see Ringo Starr in concert on June 26th!! I'm super excited!! :)

3. Our local classic rock station is 104.5 and I have my radio on 24/8. ;) But listening to that radio and getting to know the DJs has made me want to work as a DJ like them someday. (Like a college job.)

4. I convinced my sister to get a David Bowie mullet. When I first started getting her into him, I jokingly suggested she get one and she's like no way. Then, a month later, she comes up to me with a picture of Ziggy Stardust on her tablet, and says she wants a mullet like him! The sad thing is, my mum said no. :(

5. I got my first David Bowie shirt last night and wore it today, the last day of school! I got a compliment from one of my teachers! :D (I'll put a picture of it in the media.) I also got a Breakfast Club t-shirt, and would be gotten a Nirvana tee too, but my dad said we had to go.

6. Speaking of shopping, I'm quite upset about something: I went into a Kohls to get a swimsuit for this summer, and when I looked, there weren't any one pieces for girls over the age of twelve. Just mix-and-match bikinis and some tankinis.
  Now, if you feel comfortable wearing a bikinis, that's swell. It's perfectly fine. But for a major department store not to carry any one pieces for those of us who don't feel comfortable in bikinis, that's wrong. Society is pressuring, then even forcing girls to show off their bodies. They didn't even have surfer tops or something of the like. This makes me very disappointed.

7. I'm going on vacation tomorrow! Well, actually, for me it's a doctor's appoinment in Houston. My mum wanted my sisters to come too (they usually don't), so she turned it into a fantastic vacation for them. I'm torn between being happy that we get to go to Galveston and being very, very angry that she's show-casing my cancer hospital like it's a sideshow. Not cool mum. Not cool.

8. I'm becoming more and more of a hippie. Also more obsessed with the British (particularly the British Invasion ;) )Yay me and peace.

9. I love beautiful things--if it's quaint, vintage, or simply just pretty and eye-catching, I want it. I never felt pretty, and still don't most of the time, so I surround myself with pretty things to make up for my plainness.

10. I love psychology (the study of mind and behavior) and sociology (the study of society and social relationships).

11. I love overly affectionate nicknames--love, darling, sweetheart,  doll, hun. I call everybody these things (even my siblings and strangers), so don't feel weirded out of I call you them, it's normal. :)

12. I've recently fallen quite in love with Keith Moon and Pete Townshend. Moony and Egg are the best. ♡

13. Three favorite songs right now are Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie, Got to Get You Into My Life by the Beatles, and Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. :) ♡
