I have never been a fan of snow, yes the sheet of white does look beautiful to some people but to me, it sends those creepy vibes.

The long, black, barren trees and those wolf howls where I live give me those chills

I live on the countryside, near the mountains where the snow occurs in a large amount, covering almost every part of the road and ground. The crunching sound when you step your foot over it, almost no creature comes out at this time

Bears hibernate, birds sleep in their nests, dogs are brought inside the houses from the kennels to protect them from the weather, cattles also find a way to survive in this critical weather. Humans are spotted occasionally, only the snow pavers and sometimes mountain climbers

Our house is made of sandalwood and it's cozy inside, the day my parents bought the couch, I immediately told them to keep it in front of the large window from where I can see the mountains covered with snow and usually people and animals looking like pinpricks from here

Dad and mom are very busy with their foreign works. It's hyung that spends time with me.

"Tae, i have to go out for a while" he said. I was yet again sitting on my cozy couch, stuffed inside my fur blanket i generally take out in winters when the atmosphere is cold.

Maltesers with hot cream are placed beside me, hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream then a little bit of leftover pizza since hyung couldn't go out yesterday to bring another one when I was craving for it as the shops are all miles away from us

Yes it gets difficult for us to buy groceries in the winter but like the bears, we also start preparing for winter before it starts

The television is turned on as the lady is blabbering her news in it. Yes, I do like to see news when I am bored and sometimes watch the mountain climbers. Some would wave hello if they find me out and some just smile and walk away

"Why hyung? What's the necessity to go out right now. I think the snowstorm is gonna arrive soon" I said as I looked at the weather forecast displayed over the television screen

"I'll be back before it Tae, i have to go and bring the huskies back from mrs.park as she borrowed the slate from us to clear her snow but our front yard is being covered with snow and it needs to be cleared" yoongi hyung said and I hummed with a lost mind, keeping my hand over my chin and looking out of the window at the snow

"Are you okay with being home alone for a while?" He asked me and I nodded. Yes, I am a little scared since winter gives me those negative vibes but I can't help but be brave so hyung can do his work

"Take care of the house and yourself okay?" He said and I waved him goodbye

I heard the door close and I sighed

It's chilly here but the food beside me is keeping me warm.

Being alone at home is not something I would like to do. It scares the fuck out of me but I gotta be brave.

Their is pindrop silence, I could only hear the wooden clock ticking on the wall and the faded sound of the television in front of me.

The news the lady was saying was boring so i looked out of the window.

But soon the lady's words made my ears to catch it's attention

"We've found a murderer in the snow, he's has killed three people. One at Incheon and two in Seoul. People have taken his photos and he seems mysterious but the greater mystery is that the people were killed in the span of three minutes. How is it possible to be present at two places just in a span of three minutes? Here is the photo of the murderer"

I looked at the picture. It was a boy, barely 26, almost the same age as me. Some people are so creepy. What gives them by murdering. I squinted my eyes look closely at him

Raven hair, piercing eyes, pale white skin and rosy red chapped lips. Seems like a human

But not a human

What she said was true, the guy does seem like a mystery

A scary one

I shivered and switched the television off and looked out of the window once again

It was all clear now, no sun hanging over the chilly sky, Snowflakes were falling gently, the signal that the storm is coming

The sky is getting darker and I am getting scared. I hope hyung comes home fast

I saw a figure walking close to our house and I smiled

Maybe it's hyung

Or maybe not

It doesn't seem like hyung. Hyung didn't wear black coat, black pants and yes he does have a pale skin but not this pale.......comparable to the snow underneath the man's feet

I squinted my eyes as I looked at the figure walking close to me.

His face was clear now

I gasped

It's the same man from the news! The murderer!

I gripped my couch tightly, my knuckles turning white as my soul left my body

Is he gonna kill me

I picked up my phone and with shaky hands called 911, the most accurate thing I could do right now

He was walking faster than before now, i could see his psychotic smile, I could feel it piercing through me, there was nothing in his hands that could be dangerous to kill me

Maybe he himself is the weapon

The Bell was ringing and I was taking deep breaths, this creep is scaring the shit out of me.

The gates and windows are locked but his mysterious gaze tells me he can pass through it

Like a spirit

I saw him

He was right in front of me

A smile that was tearing his cheeks apart as blood dripped out of them, his eyeballs turning fully white

I wanted to scream but it felt as if he was gripping my throat.

I looked underneath him from my glass window

I dropped my phone in shock

There are no footprints

Just his reflection
