Knock knock

The sound of sudden knocking on the door made my ears perk up. I swung my legs over the edge of the sofa and headed for the front door.

Unlocking the lock and opening the door was ease there was stood my boyfriend Taehyung.

I smiled widely, "Tae Tae" i chimed as he came toward me, pulling me into his embrace. "There's me girl" he said kissing me forehead. "You're so cold" i spoke softly as I pulled away and ran my hands up and down his arms, in aim to warm his body up. "Ah I'll be alright." He reassured, yet I looked at him in disbelief, "Tae it's like 5 degrees outside." He blinked repeatedly at my statement. "I-I know but I'm not that cold, anyway I went for a run before hand."

My face scrunched up, "eww you didn't even shower"  I frowned backing away. "No I did princess. I swear." I rolled my eyes as a small tut escaped from my lips. "Sure" Taehyung chuckled, "Oh quit your mumbling, anyway I brought snacks" he said holding up a bag full of food.

My eyes widened in excitement. "And don't worry I brought your favourites." He added. "You know me too well" I grinned as I hugged him. "Of course, we've been dating for over a year now— oh you smell good" he comments as he burries his face into the crook of my neck.

"Really? I haven't even put any perfume on today." I say pulling on my top to try and smell any lingering scents. "W-well" he said pulling away "y-you just smell nice, you always do." I smiled at his sweet comment, "thanks baby." "Now let's go watch a movie" he said pushing me forward and further into my home.

"Drink?" I asked as I walked into the kitchen, opening up the fridge. "Just water will be fine. I'm quite thirsty." "Ok" I replied as I reached for one bottle of water and one Fanta.

Closing the door I held out a bottle for Taehyung to take. "Here you go." "Thank you." He said taking it from my hand. Twisting open the cap he held the bottle to his lips and straight away downed the whole bottle. I stood in shock, "thirsty indeed" I chuckled as he pulled the now empty bottle away from him.

"Yup" he simply replied as he threw the bottle away into the bin. "Do-do you want another?" I asked turning to the fridge, but Taehyung shook his head. "I'm good" I shrugged my shoulders, "if you say so. Now let's go pick a movie." I said grabbing the bag of snacks and walking into the living room.

"Any requests?" I asked as I grabbed the controller and loading up Netflix. "No you can choose baby" Taehyung answered as he plopped down onto the sofa. "You ok?" I asked in worry as his head rested onto a bunch of pillows. "Just tired that's all."

My smile faded into a sad expression. "Tae, Tae" I said approaching him, "if you're tired then we don't have to watch a-" "no no, I want to. We haven't had a proper date night in ages" he said lifting his head. I frowned, "but if you're-" "baby I'm not tired. Well I am but then i'm not, just pick a film."

I gave him a sly eye as I turned my attention back to Netflix which had now loaded up on the tv. "Hmm" I mumbled as I scanned through all the movies. "Minions?" "Nah" "Erm, oh insidious?" "Absolutely not" "ermm, oh what about this vampire film?" I asked turning to him. "Hmm I don't know" Taehyung trailed off.

"Why are you scared?" I teased as I gripped onto his thigh, giving it a tight squeeze. Taehyung wailed pulling his leg away from my grip. "No" he cringed as a look of disgust took over his facial features. "Scaredy cat." I joked. "I am not" he said crossing his arms over his chest. "Wanna bet?" I said with a wink. "Ok" he said raising an eyebrow. "Let's see who gets scared first, whoever does doesn't get a kiss from the other for the rest of the night." I giggled. "Ok, you're on. Me and you both know how moody you get when I don't kiss you."

I clicked onto the movie and sat back into Taehyung's arms, his body temperature more warmer then earlier, but still oddly cold.

Within about 30 minutes into the film I was already on the edge of my seat. The main character had just saved a hopeless girl from being attacked by another fellow vampire. Her terrified screams echoed the living room, she backing away from her saviour.

"Can you imagine dating a vampire?" Taehyung asked out of the blue making me turn to him. "Hmm I can but then I can't. Like it sounds cool but also scary." "How so?" He asked swirling his finger around on my hand. "Well, i guess I would feel very protected and safe, but also scared as what if he was to lose control one day and couldn't stop his actions?" Taehyung nodded, "that's understandable."

I then turned my attention back to the screen.

"Yes or no. Would you ever date a vampire?" Taehyung spoke up making me look at him once more. "Y-you know if they were real?" He asked making me frown. "Honestly, I don't know. I haven't really thought about it, nor have I needed too." "Well what if you were dating a guy and you found out he was?"

I now sat in utter confusion.

Why was he asking me all these questions?
Why did he wanna know all this?
It was only a vampire movie we chose, what's the big deal?

I shrugged my shoulders, "well if I'd been dating him for a while then I guess It wouldn't be as bad but I know deep down it would be, you know?" Taehyung took in my words, "so you would stay with the guy, even if he was?" "I don't think I could" Taehyung's smile faded, "why not?" I sighed. "As much as he would be the same person, I just don't think I would want to have my life put at risk. Like other vampires could come after me."

Taehyung slouched further into the sofa, his soft touch on my hand slid away.

"Oh my god no" I shouted at the screen with my eyes open in fright. The vampire had just launched at his girlfriend with bright red eyes, his white fangs showing through his lips. She had just sliced her finger whilst cutting up some vegetables.

"No. No. No. Don't hurt her" I spoke in worry.

Taehyung's POV:
And this was what I was afraid of

Since stepping into this house I've tried to hold my ground. Her intoxicating scent drove me crazy. The only way I could clench my thirst was to drink that whole bottle of water.

Oh how I wish I was blood.

And an hour later I was sitting next to my human girlfriend as she shouted at the screen in fear. I gritted my teeth as I looked away from her.

The girl on the tv screamed as her boyfriend launched himself at her. His fangs showing causing her to panic. But watching the horrifying scene unfold I knew I needed to leave the room. The more y/n moved in my grasp the more tempting she became.

When a sudden scream pierced on the screen I jumped off the sofa and ran for the bathroom.

Your POV:
"Tae?" I spoke as I felt him leave my side ever so suddenly.

Hearing the bathroom door slam shut i jolted in my seat.

"Baby?" I shouted as I went after him, my instincts telling me something was wrong. Reaching the bathroom I heard strange noises from the opposite side, "Taehyung" I lightly knocked on the door, "baby are you ok, did the film make you feel sick?"

"Y-yeah. No, no it didn't. I'm fine" he replied. "Open up" I demanded. "You don't sound well" "Just leave y/n" he spoke, yet his voice sounding much deeper then usual. "Just leave me alone" I stepped away from the door, my hand falling from the handle. "O-ok" I replied hesitantly. "I'm gonna get you some water" "No I don't want any" he shouted.

Instead of doing what he said I did the complete opposite.

Filling up a glass of water I didn't hear the bathroom door unlock and open up. "I told you I didn't want any" a voice spoke making me jump, but as I did the glass slipped from my hands causing it to smash into the sink.

My hand then began to bleed.

Turning to Taehyung I saw him standing by the door, fear trembled inside me the moment I locked eyes with him, the moment I locked eyes with his bright red ones.

Oh no

"Oh Babygirl, you've cut your hand" he said walking toward me, causing me to pull my hand close to my chest. "I-I'm fine it's j-just a cut" I stuttered. "Let me help you" he spoke pulling on my hand, holding it close to his lips. "Let me just-" I yanked my hand away the moment I saw his tongue leave his plump lips. "Don't pull away from me" he sternly spoke.

Within a blink of an eye I was pinned against the wall. Taehyung's head fell to the crook of my neck as he inhaled deeply and vastly. "Just a small bite, it won't hurt princess." "N-no Tae, what are you doing?" I asked trying to push him away.

"I'm doing what I've held off from doing the moment I stepped into his house. You smell so good, your blood is so intoxicating to me, you're like my drug." He pressed a kiss to my bare neck causing me to whimper. "N-no Tae, please you don't know what you're doing." I whimpered.

Letting out a dry chuckle Taehyung gripped onto my shoulders, digging in his fingernails. I hissed due to the small intense pain. "It won't hurt, I promise you." He reassured as his fangs now showed.

Fear ran through me, my legs began to shake and tears brimming in my eyes. "Tae" I cried. "S-stop" I repeated. My boyfriend was going to kill me.

"I don't think I want too." He replied as he opened his mouth ready to bite. With the only option left I screamed at the top of my lungs before his lips could attack my neck.

Taehyung stopped, realisation took over him after blinking rapidly, taking himself out of his lost trance.

My breathing was fast, a single tear fell down my cheek as I looked into his eyes, which were now turning back to their original colour. "Y/n" he spoke softly. "W-was I?" I nodded slowly causing him to step away. "No, no, I didn't mean." I then backed away when his hand reached up to me, my breath hitched.

"I'm so sorry" he whispered as he looked down to the ground. My heart clenching yet softening as I looked at my boyfriend.

"Y-you're a-" "yes, I'm a vampire" he admitted as he looked back up to me. "S-since when?" "4 years ago. I can't remember why." I let out a nervous breath as I took a step, "I should have told you, I know, scold me all you like but I just didn't know how you would react, I-I thought you would leave me."

Going with my heart I wrapped my arms around his body, pulling him close to me. His arms instinctively did the same, wrapping around my frame. "I'll never leave you." "N-no?" He asked as tears spilled from his eyes. "No, your my boyfriend and I love you, I couldn't leave you." "B-but you said-" "I know but I could never leave you Taehyung." His arms wrapped tighter around me. "I'm so sorry my love." I ran my hands through his hair, "it's ok, it's ok."

"It's not, I nearly bit you, heck I could have killed you." He spoke up pulling away, "but you didn't" "yeah only because you screamed so loudly it burst my eardrums." I sighed, "I don't wanna argue Tae"

"How about we go back into the living room and I tell you everything." He said cupping my cheek. "Ok" I replied contently.

I can't believe I'm dating a vampire.
