The bright morning lights beamed through the gap of your curtains, waking you from you deep slumber.
As you sat up you heard the pitter patter of tiny paws on the ground. You immediately smiled, the door opened up to reveal your beautiful golden retriever puppy, Bailey. His tongue was out and happily wagging his tail.

Opening up your arms and he jumped onto the bed and snuggled himself up to you, his head resting on your arm.

Bailey was your bestfriend. Whenever you had a bad days or even great days he would be your comforter, he would give you plenty of snuggles making you happy. He obeyed all your commands and was never bad towards anyone. He was—is perfect.

"Let's see what the day has to offer" Bailey jumped off you as you stood up to open your curtains.

Upon pulling on the fabric a excited gasp escaped your lips. Everything was covered in white, the white snow had fallen through the night. "Wow Bailey, it's your first snow day" you smile as you place him in your arms.

The beautiful sight made you smile. As much as you loved the hot weather and getting a tan the snow always reminded you of being a little girl. You would go sledging with your family and come home to have a nice warm bath and a hot chocolate.

But now living on your own those occasions had stopped. Bailey softly barked as he saw the snow fall to the ground. You kissed his head before making your way downstairs to make some breakfast.

Sometime later

Grabbing your coat, scarf, gloves and hat you wrapped yourself up in many layers. You put on Bailey's collar and leash and headed out the door. "Let's go and explore" you said as you stepped out onto the snowy grounds. Once you locked your door and headed out. With Bailey walking beside you he happily played in the snow, his tiny paws leaving prints behind him.

Once you arrived at the park you pulled your phone out of your pocket and took a photo of your little boy.

You smiled happily as you played with Bailey. Throwing threw the ball back and forth he was able to stretch his tiny little legs.

"It won't be this small for that much longer" a deep voice spoke from behind you making you jolt. Turning around your whole life froze.

Wow he was gorgeous.
Is this what I think it is....

"Oh..n-no he won't" you replied with a stutter. The male chuckled. "What's the little guys name?" He asked as he bent down to greet your puppy. "His name is Bailey" the man smiled. "Well it's nice to meet you Bailey, I'm Taehyung and this-" he turned around gesturing to someone who clearly wasn't there.

"Oh no Yeontan" he shouted. "Yeontan" he grew worried. "Who's Yeontan?" you asked. "It's my dog. He was right here beside me before I approached you, now he's gone." You felt awful, looking around you caught eye with a small brown dog sitting by the tree. "Is that him?" you asked the man as you pointed over to the tree. "Oh yes, that's where he got to, oh never mind. Yeontan come here."

The dog happily walked towards his owner who picked him up in his arms with ease. "I'm sorry, I introduced myself to your dog but not you, I'm Taehyung" he said holding out his hand, which you happily shook. "Y/n" you said with a smile.

As you pulled your hand away you looked down to the dogs to see them looking at one another as if they wanted to play. Which they did.
"Did you..maybe wanna hang out with us today. I mean as the day is so beautiful why not ask a beautiful girl to join me?" You blushed intensely, "I would love too"

As the day passed you and Taehyung had walked around the whole park getting to know one another. You even had a few competing snowball fights, which of course Taehyung had won.

"Well it's been lovely but me and Bailey should head home now." Taehyung's smile faded, "Not a problem. Can we meet here same time tomorrow?" he asked with a hopeful smile. "Yes of course we can. Could I also have your number?" you asked shyly.

"Wow. Normally it's the guy asking for the number but ok" Taehyung replied with a nervous giggle.

Tapping your numbers into one another's phones you then bid goodbye. "See you tomorrow beautiful" "See you tomorrow Taehyung."

You both parted ways and headed home. You picked up Bailey and snuggled him under your coat, he looked at you tilting his head. "Is it that obvious? Was I really love at first sight?" you asked him.

One month later

"Woah. Bailey slow down" you shouted at your dog as he pulled you along and into the park.

"Someone's happy to see me this morning" Taehyung laughed as you approached him and Yeontan. "Y-yeah he nearly pulled my arm out of its socket" you joked.

"Let's go" he said taking his hand in yours. You removed Bailey's leash and let him run around with his new bestfriend Yeontan, "I can't believe how much bigger Bailey looks compared to Yeontan" Taehyung said with a smile. "I know, Yeontan will be so tiny once Bailey's fully grown."

Being with Taehyung for one whole month was a whirlwind. The day after you met you both had made it a daily promise to meet at the park to walk your dogs.

Taehyung made you feel like the happiest girl. Even thought you had met him a month ago it just felt like it was meant to be. You would keep in contact everyday and even text one another saying you missed them even though you saw eachother that very day. You were growing more attached to him as he grew more attached to you.

"Bailey be careful" you shouted at your dog as he began running around the trees, Yeontan running close behind him. "Leave him be, he'll be ok" Taehyung reassured you. You scoffed "he's so much more bigger now, he could easily knock someone over" you said with worry.

You jinxed yourself.

Hearing something behind you, you turned to see Bailey charging at you. "No Bailey".

Before you knew it you had fallen to the ground, but landing right on top of Taehyung. Rather then wanting to immediately remove yourself you froze.
Taehyung had his arm wrapped around your waist, holding you close.

"I erm. I'm so sorry" you said in panic. "Hey" he held onto your cheek. "It's okay" you smiled briefly before standing back to your feet and offering Taehyung a hand.

"Bailey" you scolded sternly. Bending down and placed his leash back on. "You naughty boy"

Taehyung giggled as he picked up Yeontan. "It was an accident, leave the poor boy" you up at Taehyung with no expression, "I know but he's still a naughty boy for it" you said as you carried on walking.

"Hey wait y/n. Sorry I didn't mean it" You turned around with a smile. "I know, it was just cute seeing your reaction." He looked at you with a pout, "oh you little rascal"

Taehyung then went quiet, scratching the back of his neck he spoke up. "Say. Are you free tomorrow night?" you nodded. "Yes why?" Taehyung coughed nervously, "I was just wondering, erm- if you wanted to maybe go out on a date with me? Just us two, no dogs, just me and you."

Your hearts beat quickened, your cheeks growing warm. "I would love too" you replied earning a sigh of relief from him. "Great, well is it alright if I you up at 7pm tomorrow night." Nodding eagerly you watched as he placed Yeontan onto the ground.

"Can I do something I've wanted to do since the moment we met?" Taehyung asked causing you to look at him confused. "O-ok" you replied hesitantly. Gently caressing your cheeks he looked into your eyes and began to lean in.

Gasping from within you found yourself doing the very same action, soon enough your lips then commented. Sparks flew through the air, the kiss was soft and passionate. Like your lips were made for one another's.

After a few moments he pulled away, blushing.

"Looks like we literally fell in love with one another" he said with a giggle. "Looks like we did."
