As I looked into his eyes a pang of guilt hit my heart, and it hit it like a tone of bricks. The feeling of betrayal couldn't seem to shake away.

"Y/n? Whats going on?" Ace shouted into my ear piece, concern growing in her tone of voice.

Looking away from his gaze Taehyung took a step closer, causing me to instinctively back away.
As he softly called my name loud sirens could be heard in the distance to which they were growing closer and closer.

"Taehyung, do you have the girl?" A unknown officers voice called into the radio causing my ears to perk up, yet my heart was racing.

Lifting his hand he pressed the little black button on his radio, a deep sigh escaped his lips before replying with "I do."
Closing my eyes I breathed in and out, hearing Ace's voice on the other end of my ear piece made my nose scrunch in anger.

Yanking it out of my ear I broke the device into two. As I dropped it onto the ground two police cars entered the alleyway from each side, barricading us in.

"Boss, step away from the girl. She could have explosives on her" another officer called from a microphone. As my lips parted I held up my hands in surrender Taehyung's face falling apart. "Keep your hands up and slowly walk towards the car" the officer demanded.

Following his orders I slowly walked forward, but the moment I came face to face with the hood of car two very built and strong officers took me down. Wincing in pain I continued to let them hurt me.

This was all my fault

Hoisting me up to my feet the taller officer of the two brought me to his car.
As he shoved me into the back seat I looked out of the window to see Taehyung watching me with sadness.

My heart was beyond shattered now.

"Anything you say will be held against your will until you are stood in court." The officer spoke as he shoved me into a dark cell.
"You really thought you and your pathetic friends could have pulled this off huh?" another officer asked with a evil tone.

Looking up both officers laughed a little.
As one came closer my back came flush against the wall. "Well you and your little friends thought wrong, we will tear you apart piece by piece for what you and your friends did to our town."

As I turned my head away unbothered by his presence a sudden punch was thrown toward my abdomen causing me to tumble down with a loud squeal. "The only way you will be getting out of here is in chains" they snarled before leaving the cell and locking it shut behind them.

Falling to the ground the tears finally began to fall, curling into a ball I began to cry the night away.

Taehyung's POV:
As my elbows were rested onto my thighs my partner Hoseok came to my side.

"I know this is the last thing you want to hear right now but I'm sorry Taehyung, I really am. Y/n is such an innocent girl, I would never have thought-"

"Yeah well I never would have thought either Hoseok" I shouted in anger as I stood to my feet, cutting off Hoseok completely.

"She went behind my back for all these years and I had no idea. She murdered innocent people thinking she could get away with it but here she is sitting in a jail cell for trying to steal millions."

Sitting back in silence Hoseok placed his arm ontop of my upper back. Even though he didn't know what I was going through let alone what I was thinking he always knew what to do when I was down.

Upon hearing the door open two colleagues walked into the room. "You should have seen the look on her face" one officer laughed causing the other to do the same.

"What's happened now?" Hoseok asked with an agitated eye roll. "The girl that Taehyung caught at the bank earlier on. She's now in her cell all alone" he cooed causing my fists to tighten.

"What did you do to her?" I asked in anger as I looked up to them. "She got what she deserved" one of them shrugged before taking a bite out of his apple. "And that is?" "A good punch" he laughed before taking a another bite.

As I flinched in anger Hoseok grabbed hold of my arm stopping my movements. Bluntly looking into my eyes he indicated me not to cause any harm.

"I need some air" I breathed as I stood to my feet before walking out of the room.

Your POV:
As I laid on the cold ground the sound of a key unlocking the door made me turn my head.
Bracing myself for the officers next moves a soft voice suddenly echoed through the room.

"Baby?"

Blinking rapidly I pushed myself off the ground, "Tae" I called in almost a whisper.

Clenching his jaw he shut the door behind him. As I looked at the man I fell in love with something inside me made me think he didn't feel the same.

"Why?" he asked sharply.

As my lips began to quiver Taehyung asked once again, only this time he had a much more harsher tone in his voice.
Jolting in fright I shook my head, "I don't know" I replied as I looked down to the ground.
"I don't know" I stated again earning a hard scoff from him.

Taking a small step his hand instinctively went towards his belt, in which his gun was strapped to. Holding his other hand in the air the palm of his hand signalled me to stop.

"Did you just-?" I asked in heartbreak.

Shaking my head I backed away from him, my body fading away into the cells dark shadows.
"Y/n" he called but as he did my cell door opened back up.

"Boss we need you" a young officer called as he stood aside.
Looking at me once last time he turned on his heel and left the room, the sound of harsh locks locking together made me fall.

3 weeks later

As I paced around the room the moon's bright light shone into the room, causing small speckles of white shadows to show on the ground.

Hearing the chain on the door unlock I sighed in sadness.

It had been 3 weeks since I'd last seen Taehyung. Since that night he came into my cell I couldn't help but think about all the things I had done wrong in my life.

I hurt him

I couldn't forgive myself

Watching the door open wide I expected to see a tall figure standing in the doorway, but no one was there.
Standing in silence I waited for someone to appear, but the longer I waited the longer I waisted my time.

Once I approached the door I peeked my head out into the hallway, no guards were to be seen.

"Psst"

Silence

"Psst y/n"

Looking to the right I caught glimpse of a familiar face. A very familiar face.

"Chase?" I called with a whisper, "get here now you dimwit" he demanded as he pointed to his position.
Scanning my surroundings I grew hesitant, "don't just stand there, and get here now" Chase called causing me to run over to him.

As I was about to speak his hand clasped itself over my mouth. "Firstly it's so good to see you y/n, it really is. Secondly don't make a sound and thirdly Ace has hacked the security system meaning only have five minutes to escape before the cameras are back up and running."

Releasing his grip he took hold of my hand and guided us out of the prison.

The moment we ran onto the highway the prisons alarm systems began to rise. Hearing it's loud noises caused me to hold my hands against my ears, muffling the sound.

"Shit Chase, they know I've escaped" I shouted, "no they won't" he replied with a smirk, "thank Ace for her brains once you see her."

Letting my hands fall back to my sides I stood in confusion, "just no more questions until we get to the meeting point."

Looking over my shoulder I knew I couldn't just stay here, Taehyung had many opportunities to come and see me but he chose not too, looking back to Chase made me realise where I truly belonged.

Following him off the highway we headed for the meeting point.

A few days later

"Your blood pressure seems absolutely fine, the bruises will heal over time." My boss smiled as he removed the strap from my arm. "Thanks boss" I mumbled softly.

"Hey" he called, "Taehyung had many opportunities to come and see you, you belong here y/n. We are your family." "He's right" Ace added, "you don't need him." she stated highly.

"But you have Monty, that's easy for you to say" Chase chuckled as he sat beside me.

"I'm ok guys, really. I think I just need to take some time." Ace placed her hand into mine, "we're here if you need us" she smiled.

Upon entering the flat I exhaled deeply.
Scanning the hallway I began to walk further inside.
Once I entered the kitchen a little note was magnetised to the fridge.

We hope you like your new place, Chase is just down the hallway if you need him.
Your safe with us y/n.
Boss and the team x

Smiling contently I placed the note onto the coffee table.

This was now my new place. My new place to continue my life with the boss and the team.

2 months later

As I walked into the cafe Ace spoke into my ear piece.
"I seriously cannot be more excited to have you back y/n." Smiling to myself I made my way over to the tills. "Good to be back" I replied subtlety as I placed my hands into my pockets.

"Hi there, what can I get you today?" "Just a latte please." I chimed. "That will be 2.45."

After paying for my order I took a seat just three tables away from Chase.

Pretending to scroll through my social media Chase then spoke into our ear pieces, "our target has just entered the building."

Looking up I caught glimpse of a tall blonde haired male, his jacket hung loosely on his body as he walked across the room.

"One latte for the lovely lady" the waiter granted as he placed my drink onto the table. "Thank you" I smiled as I pulled my drink close.

"Keep an eye y/n" Chase ordered. "Always am" I stated.

Upon hearing the chimes of the door I looked up to see him walking into the room.

Taehyung?

With his hands in his pockets he looked over to the the blonde male who hadn't long entered before them.
Looking back and forth a light bulb lit up.

Was he searching for the target too?

Taking a sip of my drink I continued to watch the target closely.

"What the hell is Taehyung doing here?" Ace gritted into the ear piece, "looks like the police are on the same mission" Chase replied.

Gulping hard the target then stood to his feet. "Y/n its your time to shine, Monty will meet you behind the building."

Placing my mug onto the table I stood to my feet and left the cafe, following the target.

As he took a turn into the alleyway I smirked to myself. Picking up my speed I followed him further.
But the moment I made my way down he had vanished. "Ace where the hell did he go?" I asked her in worry.

"Well, well, well."

Turning on my heel I was met with our target.

Grabbing my gun from my pocket someone had already beat me it, shooting the target in the leg.
Once the male was down I was met with the shooter.
His evil smile fading the moment he saw me.

"Y/n?" He called in disbelief.

As he took a step towards me I pulled out my gun and shot him.

Watching as his body fell to the ground Chase had now entered the alleyway, Monty hot on his tail.

"Monty get the target into the van" Chase ordered. "Y/n are you ok?" Chase then asked in worry, "I'm fine."

Looking down Taehyung had now rested his body against the wall, his hand tightly grasped to his arm.

"That teaches you for not getting in our way. We do this our way." Chase snickered as I knelt beside him.

"Baby" he whispered. "I'm not your baby anymore Taehyung, you had many opportunities to see me but you chose not too."
Shaking his head he then pulled out his earpiece. Handing it to me carefully I read the text which was engraved onto it

I really enjoyed writing this little series. Sadly I will not be doing a part 3 as I don't have any further ideas to write with this story.
