Waiting patiently outside your bestfriends house you tapped your foot on the concrete floor. Looking over your shoulder you watched as the cars drove past the house.

Upon hearing the locks your attention was pulled away from the busy road back to the door. As it opened up your smile grew bright expecting to see your lifetime best friend standing there, but those expectations changed.

Dramatically

You were met with her older brother Taehyung, the most handsomest man you'd ever laid your eyes on.

"Oh hello y/n" he greeted with his beautiful smile. "Are you here to see Lou?" Looking at him adoringly you completely ignored the question he was asking you. "Y/n?" He called again knocking you back into reality.
Shaking your head you let out a nervous chuckle, "y-yes sorry is...is she here?"

"She isn't at the moment, she's just popped to the store with our mother." You frowned, "oh, well I'll just wait for her outside."

Taehyung tutted, "nonsense you can wait inside." Stepping aside he gestured you to enter the house, holding your fingers over your mouth you hesitated. "I won't bite" he smirked causing you to hesitate even more.
"I'm kidding" he laughed. "I'll get you a drink whilst you wait."

Stepping inside he closed the door behind you, "come on; the kitchen is this way."

If you couldn't tell already, you had the biggest crush on your best friends older brother. Ever since you both met three years back you've had this attachment ever since, and of course Lou didn't know anything.

Placing your folder onto the island you watched closely as Taehyung walked around the kitchen. "Here" he smiled as he placed a cold glass of water in front of you. "Thank you Taehyung."

"So" he spoke up making you look over to him, "what are you and my sister studying?" Placing his hand onto your blue folder he brought it close to him. As he opened it up your eyes grew wide, "No" you shouted in fear, but it was too late.

As his eyes scanned the first page in the folder you immediately shut your eyes in embarrassment. "The Reproductive system" he spoke aloud causing you groan.

Looking up he raised his eyebrows, "I-it's for o-one of our t-topics in c-class." you replied with a stutter.
Taehyung laughed a little, "no need to be embarrassed" he stated whilst closing the folder.
"It's a normal thing to be studying about."

Standing to his feet he approached you. Feeling your nerves bundle up inside you, you instinctively stepped back hitting the stool behind you.
"What's gotten you all flustered? Like I said it's a normal thing to be studying about."

"I-I know b-but..." "but what?" He interrupted.
As you were about to speak the front door opened up, Lou and her mother soon walking into the house.

Pulling himself away from your now flustered self Taehyung helped his mother and took the bags out of her hands. "Oh don't worry about me, I'll be fine Tae" Lou snickered as she came walking into the room.
As she locked eyes with you her annoyed expression grew into a happy yet concerned one.

"Oh hey y/n, I didn't realise you were here." You smiled, "y-yeah I thought you said to be here for 1?" Looking up to the clock she sighed, "I did didn't I, oh well I'm sorry for keeping you."
Placing the bags onto the ground she turned to you, "have you been waiting long?" Taking the folder you followed her up to her room. "About five minutes."

"Was my annoying brother pestering you?" "No" you simply stated as you took a seat on her bedroom floor, "he just gave me a glass of water." Lou turned to you, "so he didn't say anything nasty or bitchy towards you?" You shook your head, "Nope, why does he usually act that way?" You asked innocently, all for well knowing he's never acted bad to you in any way.

"Wow, that's a first" Lou chuckled, "now" she said rubbing her hands together, "let's get started with this project."

Lying onto the ground you rubbed your eyes, "I've had enough of starting at this stupid screen."
Laughing at your tired state Lou moved to position herself onto her knees, "I say a break and some snacks are needed."

Lifting your head you grinned, "Let's, I'm starving"

Both making your way into the kitchen you were greeted with the man himself once again. "Taehyung move out the way" Lou snarled as she pushed her older brother to the side. "Hey I'm cooking here" Lou rolled her eyes, "I know I can see that." Taehyung scoffed, "clearly you can't."

Taking a seat you witnessed their usual argument. Placing the noodles into two bowls the aroma flew up your nose. "That smells good" you complimented sweetly. "Thank you y/n, least someone compliments me" Taehyung argued as he turned to his sister who was now chopping up some onions.

"Shut up" Lou mumbled. "Here" Taehyung smiled as he slid the spare bowl of noodles toward you. "What?" You asked with a whisper, "have some I insist."
"Tae I'm cooking us food she doesn't wanna eat your cooking."

"Lou it's fine, you just sort yourself out" you added. "I'll just eat this, thank you Taehyung" you thanked before delving into the warm noodles.
"If you don't like it I can make extra of my meal" Lou stated as she began cooking.

"Just leave her alone Lou" Taehyung scolded as he sat beside you. "She's my bestfriend I need to look out for her at all costs even if it's keeping her away from you."
Holding up her chopsticks she pretended to stab Taehyung with them.

"Lou" you calmed, "your brothers not that bad" you added earning a smile from him. Humming in disagreement Lou went back to her business.
Winking discreetly Taehyung started eating his lunch.

Few hours later

"Would you like to stay for dinner?" Lou asked as we began to gather up our books. "As long as I won't be a burden" "Of course not" Lou chuckled, "mum and dad are out for the night so we'll be ordering a takeaway."

"Pizza?" You asked with a wink, "you know it" Lou smirked back. "Ok I'll stay" Clapping her hands in excitement Lou headed downstairs to tell her parents.

After cleaning up and ordering the pizza you and Lou situated yourselves on the sofa in the living room. "So what film is on the agenda for tonight?"

Both turning your heads toward the door Lou immediately groaned in annoyance. "There's no way in hell your watching a film with us."
Ignoring his sister Taehyung yet again took a seat beside you. "Erm" you mumbled as both your shoulders graced one another's.

"Taehyung seriously, don't you have anything better to do?" Tapping his hands on his thighs he smiled at his sister, "Nope" "So non of the boys are available to hang out?" "Nope" "and you don't think intruding on our best friend night is rude?" "Nope" he replied with for the final time.

"Lou it's ok, if he doesn't have anything to do he can hang out with us." She sighed in defeat, "fine, but just for tonight." "I'll grab some drinks while you sort out the film.
"I'll help" Taehyung called as he followed you into the kitchen.

Collecting the glasses from the cupboard Taehyung stood close. "I should thank you" "for what?" You asked plainly, "for backing me up, I swear she hates me." Placing your hand onto his arm you looked into his eyes. "She doesn't hate you, you're her older brother. Yes sometimes they can be annoying but I'm sure she wouldn't choose anyone else."

Taehyung smiled at your sweet statement, "you really are a nice girl y/n." "Thank you, as are you Tae, well not a nice girl b-but a nice guy-"
Your words were stopped when Taehyung placed his lips onto yours, knocking the breath out of you.

Pulling you close his free hand rested onto your cheek, cupping it gently.
As the kiss grew more passionate a familiar cough pulled you both away from one another.

Looking in the direction of the door there stood Lou with her arms crossed and a expressionless look to her face.

"What's going on here?"
