"GOOD MORNINGGG BABY BEAR" you shouted as you jumped onto a very sleepy and tired Taehyung. "Nooo not today y/n" Taehyung mumbled into the pillow cases. You giggled and rolled on top of him. "Kim Taehyung if you don't get that fine piece of ass out of bed so help me god I'll tickle those feet of yours" you tease. "NOOO" he screamd like a girl before tucking his feet under the covers.

"3...2...1" you say before leaning down towards his feet. "Wait. Hold up. Ok, ok, ok. I'm up, I'm getting up" he says throwing the covers off his body.

Holy moly. He was shirtless. And only in a pair of shorts.
Move your eyes away y/n.
Move them away

"I'll be downstairs in the kitchen. Your mum has made breakfast so don't be down late otherwise it will get cold" you say before exiting the room slightly flustered at the sight you just witnessed. Your life time bestfriend shirtless.

Once you arrived downstairs Taehyung's mother smiled at you. "Did you manage to wake up the sleepy boy?" You chuckled, "yes I did, he shouldn't be long." She soon nods and hands you a plate with pancakes on. "Thank you Mrs Kim" you smile.

"Oh y/n darling. How many times have I told you just to call me Dahlia" she stated taking a seat the the table. "I'm sorry I always forget, you know me" you reply. "Forget, oh darling. I'm your god mother you've known me all your life." "She's right y/n, we're pretty much your second parents" Taehyung's father says as he enters the kitchen in a suit. "Morning honey" he says to his wife before siting down.

"Where is that son of ours? His breakfast is going to get cold." Mr Kim scolds. "I kindly asked y/n to get him but I guess he's taking his time"

Few moments later Taehyung walks into the kitchen. "Ah there you are. Good morning sleepy head." His mother says raising her eyebrows, yet all Taehyung does is rolls his eyes, "Yes I am here mum" he says as he takes a seat right next to you. "Enough to the attitude young man" Taehyung's dad says sternly.

"Hey y/n." Three year old Taehyung giggles as he runs into your living room. "Taehyungieee" you cheer happily whilst hugging him.

Giggles echo the living room as you and Taehyung hugged one another.

Both of your mothers stood next to one another in awe as they watched you both. Taehyung's mum Dahlia smiles, "They are going to be the best of friends. I really hope they stick by each other's side no matter what." Your mum smiles also, "I hope they do too. Wouldn't it be funny if they got married" Dahlia gasps softly, "can you imagine? Life time best friends tying the knot. How beautiful would that be?"

Your mums turn their attention back to you and Taehyung to see you now playing with one another. Taehyung pretending to be a baddie whilst you hide behind the sofa.

"I'm going to catch you y/n" Taehyung evilly speaks. "Nooooo" you scream running towards your mum, hiding behind her legs. "Oh y/n, Taehyung is only playing" Your mum speaks softly. "I didn't mean too y/n" Taehyung says with sadness, not meaning to upset you in any way. A evil smile then grew on your lips, you ran towards Taehyung and touched his arm before shouting "tag your it"

"What you thinking about?" Taehyung says snapping you back into reality. You were now both on your way to school.

Did I really dream that whole time?

Shrugging your shoulders you showed a smile. "I was just thinking back to one of the play dates we had when we were kids. My mum told me that one when you came over to my house we hugged one other like we hadn't seen one another for years, but in reality it was only a day. We played tag and spent the whole day together."

Taehyung smiled widely, "funny you should say that, my mum told me that same story last night. She said we have been inseparable ever since we were young and she hopes that we can stay that way for the rest of our lives. She said that when the day comes that her and father pass away we will have eachother."

Your heart sank, thinking about loosing your family broke you.

"Hey?" Taehyung questioned wrapping an arm around your shoulder. "I didn't meant to make it so deep, it just made me realise that I hope we stay like this forever...bestfriends"

Ouch. Why did that hurt me?
Bestfriends. I guess that's all he wants to be.

School

"Hey y/n" "Good morning buttercup" your best friends Dani and Elré cheerfully greeted as they approach you. "Hey guys" you smile. "Walking with Taehyung again?" Dani teases. You scoff loudly "Yeah, and?", Elré smirks "We weren't born yesterday y/n we know you've been walking to school with eachother since we started school. You two are inseparable. We know you like him." Elré says nudging you.

Your eyes widen. "I do not. He's my best friend. How could I? What do you mean? You guys are crazy. He wouldn't like me, oh golly gosh" you say in hysterics as Dani and Elré stand next to one another with their arms crossed as they smirked at eachother.

"Sure thing" Dani smiles. "Now come on let's get to class" Elré stands still. "Y-you guys go ahead I'll catch up" you and Dani stare confused. Turning around you both saw her boyfriend walking towards her "ohh okay, skipping Geography I see" you tease. Elré pouts. "Catch you later" she says before walking off with her boyfriend.

Once you and Dani arrived at the class you took your seats, which happened to be on the opposite side of the room from one another.

"H-hello there." Looking up you were met with a tall, gorgeous brown haired boy. "Oh hello" you reply nicely. You hadn't seen him before, he must be new. "Tom, I'm new here" Bingo "T-the teacher said I could sit here a-as this seat isn't t-taken" he says with a stutter.

Your heart beats rapidly. "S-sure" you reply, also with a stutter.

Why am I suddenly like this?

Looking across you saw Dani seated with her boyfriend Jimin, they were smiling and giggling as they spoke to one another. Seeing your best friends happy made you happy, but having your happiness fulfilled was something else.

"S-so erm. I don't really know my way around here, d-do you think you could show me round?" Tom asks as he scratches the back of his neck. You nod "of course I'll show you around" He smiles. "Thank you..." "Oh y/n" you say in shyness. "Well nice to meet you y/n, I hope we can become great friends." You then smiled, "same here Tom"

Later on

Once classes were over yourself and Tom made your way outside. Walking towards you was Dani, Elré, Jimin and Taehyung. "Hey y/n you coming to eat with us?" Jimin asks. "No thanks I'm going to show Tom around. He's new here and I'm his only friend right now." Taehyung stayed quiet.

"Oh yes Tom. He joined today, he seems really sweet. Think he's got a thing for our dear y/n" Elré grins. You rolled your eyes. "Elré enough with the flirtatious comments" you say with a smile forming on your lips.

You could never be mad at Elré and Dani.

"Ok, well we will catch up with you later." They bid you small fair well as you headed back to Tom.

Taehyung's POV:
"Bro. It's so obvious that you like her" Jimin whispered as he pulled me close, but I scoffed. "No I don't. What makes you think that? She wouldn't like me back" I state boldly. Jungkook, our close friend also looks at me with disbelief, "It's very obvious" he says cutting in.

"You both clearly have a thing for one another but you're both scared to admit it" Dani implies. "The jealously in your face when she said she was going to be with Tom showed it all" Elré comments. "Well you guys are wrong, we're bestfriends nothing more and nothing less. Now can we just please eat" I say walking past them all.

They weren't wrong. They were right. I do have a thing for y/n.

"And finally this is the cafe" you introduce as you and Tom enter the room. "Wow" he says baffled. "I'm starving so let's go eat." Holding onto Tom's hand you pulled him along to take a seat in the corner of the room.

But little did you know as you were both walking hand in hand. A jealous Taehyung watched you closely.

End of school

"So how was it. How was Tom?" Elré and Dani ask as they greet you. "It was good, he's so lovely and kind." A concerned Dani listened to your words.

You then look over their shoulders to see Taehyung walking out of school with his hands in his pockets. "Well I'll see you both tomorrow, gotta walk home with Taehyung." Waving goodbye you ran off to meet Taehyung.

"Hey" you greet. "Hey. I haven't seen you all day. How's my best friend?" He grins wrapping an arm around you. "You saw me this morning and at break time." "I know but we haven't hung out as much today. What's with the new guy?"

You look away biting your inner lip, "Oh Tom? He's a new student. He started today and my teacher had him sit next to me. He asked if I could show him around the school so I did just that. He's really sweet too" You reply happily.

Taehyung's arm drops from your body. "I don't like the sound of him. I'd stay away from him if I was you."

What the hell?

"Look. I need to get on with some homework so I'm gonna have to pass on our film night tonight. Catch you later." Taehyung then walks away leaving you alone.

Once you arrived home you headed up to your room and collapsed onto your bed. "What did I say?" you asked yourself. Why did Taehyung's attitude suddenly change?

Letting out a huge sigh you grabbed your books from your bag and started on some homework. In hope it would get Taehyung out of your mind.

As you were currently reading a chapter from Romeo and Juliet your bedroom door swung open. "God sake mum how many times oh--" you looked up to be met with Taehyung instead. "Hi" you mumbled.

"Look" Taehyung said before closing the door behind him. "I'm sorry for leaving you earlier and for speaking to you like that, I didn't mean too." You stared at him confused. "I just...when I saw you walking into the cafe today with Tom it just made me upset." Concern grew upon you, "what? why?" You asked standing up.

"It- do you know what never mind." Turning on his heel he reached for the door knob. "WAIT" you shouted, "Tell me, bestfriends don't keep secrets" you say with a broken tone in your voice. "I can't" Taehyung says with sadness.

"Why can't you?" you ask. "Because I can't" Taehyung says raising his voice. "Really? That's all, because I can't, we've been best friends for how long and you can't tell me?" you say annoyed. "No I can't" he shouts back. "I'm sure it's not a big deal" you reply earning a scoff from him.

"Not a big deal? Not a big deal I fucking love you y/n" Taehyung shouts causing you to flinch. "Y0u love me?" you ask softly as he runs his hands through his hair. "Yes. But it's not a big deal right?"

Stepping close you cut him off with a kiss to his lips. The kiss was passionate and full of love. Sure you have kissed a few boys in the past but this was different, you fell in love with the kiss. Just like you fell in love with Taehyung.

Pulling away breathless you looked into his eyes. "I don't want to be with Tom. I want to be with you Taehyung. Do you realise how long I've been waiting for you to tell me that?" he shook his head. "I've been too scared to admit it but I love you too" he gently cupped your cheeks.

"Hearing those words is all I need right now" you smile. "I love you y/n" "I love you too Taehyung."
