Taehyung looked away from my wide eyes, "Tae" I spoke more strongly, He sighed.

"I'm sorry to bother you both but I need to close up for the night." The elderly gentleman said as he approached us. "No worries, thank you for the drink" I smile before leave the cafe, heading out onto a quiet road.

The soft spring breeze flew through the streets. I closed my eyes as we walked remembering all the fun times I had when I was a child. Remembering all the times me and Taehyung would walk through these streets on our way home from school.

"Shall we?" Taehyung asked softly gesturing me to sit down on a bench, I nodded faintly taking a seat.

"Where did it go all wrong?" Taehyung suddenly asked with a sad whisper. "I don't know" I replied looking down to my hands. "I miss you so much, the moment you ran out and left I thought I wouldn't see you again." I looked up to the trees listening to them rustle in the wind. "I wish I could say I'm sorry for running but your girlfriend she-" "girlfriend" Taehyung spoke with a chuckle, "she isn't my girlfriend she was just an old friend."

I rolled my eyes. "Isn't that what they always say? She's just an old friend. Which then turns into a relationship and the bestfriend is soon forgotten about. It seemed way more then that by the smile you gave her the other day." Taehyung looked at me with shock. "Y-you saw me?" I turned away, "yes, me and Jungkook were in the mall as he was helping me choose your birthday present. But when we left the store we saw you with her. You looked so happy, and I've never seen you like that before." My voice began to brake.

"But I guess you then saw me and Jungkook together." Taehyung nodded. "I did see you, but the moment I did my heart shattered. Yes I may have been smiling with her but that doesn't replace my feelings for you." I stood up, "So you have feelings for me yet your arms were wrapped around her like a boyfriend would?" Taehyung sat in silence.

"You know what I'm done. I've been in love with you for the longest time, you have no idea how many times I've tried to tell you. No one else knew until that day and Jungkook clocked on. He kept the secret but deep down I hated him knowing, I tired to shrug it off but no. It felt like my world came tumbling down." Tears welled in my eyes.

Taehyung's face softened as he looked at me. "No" he spoke standing up and pulling me into his embrace. "Please don't cry, I'm sorry."

I nuzzled my head into his chest, wrapping my hands up around his arms. "I-i love you" I cried. "I love you too." I chuckled as I pulled away, Taehyung was quick to wipe away my tears. "Let me make it up to you." "H-how?" I sniffled.

"Let me take you back" he gently cupped my cheeks. "Let me take you back and do all the things we did as teenagers before we moved away. Let's go bowling, let's go get ice cream and let me take you to that restaurant you've always wanted to go to." I looked into Taehyung's eyes.

"Ok" I breathed out. Taehyung smiled. "Ok, now can we go home?" I nodded cuddling into him. He kissed my forehead. "Let's go home and eat some cake." My eyes widened, "shit it's still your birthday Tae" I shout in shock. "I know-" "I completely ruined your day." Taehyung chuckled, "no you didn't, you made it ten times better." I stood confused. "You made it better by telling me you loved me. You have no idea how long I've waited for you to say that, let alone me tell you that too."

I grinned, "So cringe you are." "That's part of my charm." He replied taking my hand. "Now let's go home."

The next day

"Angel?" I rolled over. "Angel?" I pulled the covers over my head. "Y/n wake up." Taehyung said running his fingers through my hair. "Come on, get showered and get ready." He said before leaving the room, letting me lay on my back resting on my forearms.

"I love you too" repeatedly played on my mind. I knocked myself out of my thoughts when I saw my reflection in the mirror. I was smiling like an idiot.

Lacing up my shoes I grabbed my jacket, my bag and headed downstairs. "You look pretty" Jungkook said with a smile. "Thank you Kookie and thank you for everything." He smiled widely. "You're welcome" he hugged me tightly.

"Now get going missy, Tae's waiting outside for you." I held his cheek. "You're like the big brother I never had." Jungkook held onto my hand, "and you're like the little sister I never had. Now get going." he demanded making me run out the door.

"There's my beautiful girl." Taehyung said as I sat in the car, strapping myself in. "You're calling me all these names but you haven't actually asked me to be yours yet." I spoke with a sly smile. Taehyung smirked, "just wait till later then." He simply spoke before driving away, heading into our old town.

"We are here." Taehyung said parking up. I looked to my left to see our first location.

Bowlplex

I turned back with a smile. "Every Friday night" we spoke in unison. "Let's go."

Once we headed inside we paid for our row and grabbed our shoes.

"Yes another strike for me." Taehyung shouted walking back to his seat with a smirk. "It's only your second Tae, don't get your hopes up." He rolled his eyes, "I'm the best player here, I'm gonna win" I smacked his arm before grabbing the ball and standing at the row.

"Don't miss now" Taehyung shouted from behind me. I giggled as I threw the ball, letting it roll straight down the middle.

To my surprise it hit all the pins, giving me my first strike. I spun around with my arms crossed and a grin on my face. Taehyung sat in shock, "Don't what now. Don't miss did you say?" Taehyung sat back in his seat, his face like a child. "Beginners luck" he said. "Ohh don't be mad" I said grabbing his cheek.

"Beginners luck" he said as we walked out of the bowlplex. "You said that to me years ago." I said softly. "I remember that day so clearly." He replied. "Icecream?" I nodded eagerly, let's go.

"I will have one vanilla and one mint choc chip please." I spoke to the man at the stall. "Coming right up for a beautiful lady." I smiled. "My beautiful lady" Taehyung said deeply into my ear.

"Don't be jealous" I whispered. "I'm not jealous, I'm-I'm" I nudged him. "You're jealous- ah thank you" I said as the man handed me our ice creams. "Have a lovely day" he smiled.

Dinner

"Table for two please" Taehyung kindly asked the waiter. "Of course, right this way." Taehyung held onto my hand as we followed the waiter.

"Here you go, my colleague shall be with you soon to take your orders. Enjoy" he said before leaving us to look at the menu.

"Such a good menu, too many to choose from." I nodded in agreement. "Not sure what to go for."

"Wow that pizza was amazing" I say sitting back in my seat. "It looked delicious." I sat forward. "How was yours?" He smiled, "amazing" he said taking a sip of his drink.

"I wanted to ask you" I looked at him. "Will you finally be my girlfriend?" I took hold of his hands and intertwined mine with them. "Of course I will." Taehyung pulled my hands and kissed them softly.

"I promise to love you and only you, you are my everything." He said making my heart race. "Same goes for you, I love you too Tae."

"Now let's toast." He said taking his glass in his hands. "What are we doing?" I asked with a chuckle. "Making a toast to us, no matter what we do, no matter where we are. We will have eachother."

"To us" I say clinking his glass.
"To us" he finishes with a smile.
