The next year or so went smoothly. We stayed very close the whole time, even though we did have the odd bad argument that threatened to break us up, but they were few and far between. BTS had grown a lot, and we were getting very popular, not just in Korea but all over the world. Our production team suggested starting a series called 'bon voyage' where we would go on vacation, and do missions and stuff. It was a nice chance to give us a vacation and some time off to just have fun, while still making something for the fans. It was a great idea.
For the second season of Bon Voyage, we went to Hawaii, because it was easy to get to, as we were halfway through the wings tour in America at the time. Amongst our fans, Hawaii has been seen as a turning point in mine and taes relationship, but, obviously, they didn't know that we were always close. We just kept it a secret from fans, in fear that it would cause rumors. So when Namjoon suggested that we paired up, we were secretly relieved. We could finally start to show how close we really are to our fans. It wasn't a turning point in our relationship, it was a turning point in our fans view of our relationship. We played along, acting as if we were still awkward with each other. "How did you know I mix the yolk with the soup?" He knew because we'd been on several dates where we ate the same thing. But the fans didn't know that. That night we were just so relieved that we could finally show some more affection towards each other without being wary of the camera. It was nice.

For the second season of Bon voyage, we went to Hawaii, because it was an easy stop off in the middle of our tour in the US. It was probably the best vacation of my life, because it was quite a turning point in our relationship, or at least our fans idea of our relationship. We finally got to show a bit more of our true selves to them. Thanks to Namjoon suggesting me and him pair up for one night. I secretly got excited when he said that. And I'm pretty sure his whole "holding hands when we argue" was just an excuse to hold my hand a lot. He loves holding hands. (Laughing) I don't know why. It's a subtle thing but he loves it so much. But who am I to judge.
In a way I think it help us to be able to express ourselves more openly. He denies that we got any closer, but I think we did. Albeit in a subtle way, but we did. Just having that chance to open up slightly more to our fans, it felt like a weight lifted off our shoulders. It meant we wouldn't have to hide our relationship so much anymore.
