She hasn't left her bed in three damn days.

After Dex threw Tans out he came back the following day.

Knox and I wasn't here at the time or I would of have kicked his fucking ass for what he done.

He rejected Promise right in front of Dino, Dex, and Dawson. Leaving them all in an utter state of shock.

When Promise opened the door to him those were the first words out of his fucking mouth.

She dropped to her knees instantly wailing out in agonizing pain.

Tan ran off as soon as the words spoken. Like the fucking coward he is.

When Knox and I returned home they informed us of the horrible situation.

Ever since Tan dropped the bombshell she's been in her room slowly depleting.

She hasn't eaten, she hasn't showered, hell she has barely even fucking moves.

Sitting beside her on the edge of her bed, I grimace at her condition.

There's black circles under her eyes, she is far too pale. Her lips are cracked and she looks very malnourished.

It's ripping me apart to her so broken.

Pulling her cover up over her, up to her shoulders, she shivers from my simple touch when I touch her arm with my fingertips. Not be able to see her in this condition, I quietly make my way to her bedroom door. Before closing it silently behind me, I give her one last look.

Seeing her so damaged for Tans refusal of her, breaks my fucking heart in two.

Making my way to the living room all the guys are sitting on the sectional moping. They all look as about as ragged as I do.

Worry consumes us all from Promises misfortune. If I am ever able to get my hands on Tan, I will rip him completely fucking apart!

Plopping my weary ass down on the couch beside Knox, feeling disgruntled. I can't help but to think that this is somehow my fault.

I should have never walked off from Tan the other night. If I stayed and tried to convince him not to do what he was planning maybe Promise wouldn't be lying in her bed nearly dying from heartbreak right now.

"We have to do something!" Out of all of us, I think that it's hit me and Dawson the hardest.

He's been just about as immobilized as Promise and I. He blames himself because he was right behind Promise when she answered the door to Tan.

Thinking he could've stopped it somehow. They have all told us time and time again that it is clearly not our fault. Tan made up his mind long ago and there was nothing any of us could do to change his mind.

But no matter how many times they all tell Dawson and I that very thing: we both can't seem to shake the idea that we could have prevented this in some small way.

"Like what? She's not eating, she rarely gets out of bed. She's completely giving up!" Dino grits out, throwing hisself back on the couch, purely exhausted.

"There are five of us surely we can come up with someway to help her?" Knox complains, his beautiful eyes lock onto mine but they're not holding much hope inside of them. Reaching for his hand, I lace my fingers through his, holding them tightly. Trying to find some sort of comfort during this raging storm brewing inside of us.

"Well we need to find an answer and soon. She's just wilting away!" Dex puts so much emphasis on his last sentence, it has all of us nearly crying out in misery.

This is hurting all of us much more than we even thought was imaginable.

To see the woman we all love losing all of her desire to even live, demolishes all of us deep inside.

"I don't know what to do!" Leaning my head on Knoxs shoulder, I close my eyes trying to endure the intense grief that's bubbling up inside of me.

We all sit in a somber silence trying to cope or come up with some idea on how to help Promise come out of her deep depression of losing a mate.

The silence is starting to get unbearable.

"I got it?" Dawson screams out excitedly. Making us all jump in our seats.

He informs us all of his grand idea smiling the entire time he's talking.

When he's done filling us in, we all have a smile on our once fallen faces.

It's a bit simplistic plan but it just may work. Anything has to be better than what we're dealing with now. Somehow, someway, we will bring Promise back to us.

"Come on Promise, let's get you in the shower."

After Dawson told us of his plan we all have our designated parts to play.

Mines is to get Promise up off this bed and in a warm and invigorating shower.

He sets down on the edge of her bed with the tray propped on his legs. Dino lifts a spoonful of it trying to get her to eat, at least something. She squints her eyes at him, trying deny him access.

I watch him finally coaxing her to resolutely eat a few bites of the warm and delicious food. Spoonful after spoonful she gradually accepts his offering. Nearly devouring the entire bowl.

The next part of the plan will take all of us participating but starting off with just one of us at a time and I get to start it off first.

With her freshly showered and now fed. Dino picks up the tray, headed back to the kitchen leaving me alone to start, hopefully, enticing Promise.

The final part of the plan is to show Promise how to feel again and the best way we could think of was arousing the dormant feelings she has been holding in, deep inside of her.

With resolution, I strip off my clothes climbing into bed with her. When the bed dips upon my arrival she turns her head watching me over her shoulder with a curious look in those sweet green emerald eyes.

"I know you want to protect me Dawson. But Tyson can get to me here just the same as he can get to me anywhere else. I'm tired of being scared and I'm definitely tired of being held prisoner in my own damn home, like some sort of criminal!" She says defiantly.

Something about what she just said sparks an idea that just suddenly dawns on me.

Tyson won't make his move unless he knows that he has an open opportunity to be able to get to her.

If we could somehow make him come out of wherever he his hiding then maybe we can catch him at his own damn game.

"I think she may have a point." Shocked and expressive eyes all turn my way.

"Listen to me just for second. What if we can get him to come out of hiding, think about it! If we could entice him in someway to come out of hiding maybe we can trap him in his own game." I tell them all focusing on each one of their faces.

"You mean use Promise as bait?"Dex ask unabashedly.

"Not exactly bait, per say, but we could guard her and make sure there's no way that he can get to her. While we all manage to take him out. The council is suppose to be coming the day after tomorrow. If we could somehow trick him and trap him and let the council deal with him then our problems would be resolved." They all stare at me like I just escaped from a mental ward.

"There is no way in hell I would ever trust the council!" Dino exclaims very loudly.

"Why?" What the hell could the council have done that's so damn bad? They're the ones who suppose to protect our kind. Seek justice for all the supernaturals that has been wronged!

"Because of what they did to our Queen Jaye." I don't completely understand what Knox is referring to.

"What did they do?" I ask them all curiously.

"You haven't heard about what they did to Queen Black?" Dawson ask me with an wide eyed expression. I have no idea what he's even referring to.

"No. Can someone please enlighten me!"

"They council tried to trap her into stating that she was having affairs behind the Kings back. When in reality she was kidnapped and violently assaulted. They kept talking trash about her. Making false allegations against her. Until the Queens father made an appearance. The Queens father, Aether, cut out the head councilman's tongue. Making them all regret eve doubting his daughter." Dino informs me clearly shocked that I have never heard anything about this.

Well that information sure changes things. But I'm still determined that we can stop this madness with Tyson.

"Ok I can understand why you don't trust them but we can still draw Tyson out and capture him and somehow make him pay for all that he has done." I'm bound and determined to finish this shit already. I desperately want our lives back.

"We're not using Promise as bait!" Dex adamantly declares.

"Oh yes we are. I want an end to all of this. I'm done hiding away! If none of you will help me, I will do it on my own. But one way or the other it's time for Tyson to pay!" Promise tells us with absolute determination. Standing up from the couch she storms off to her room. Slamming the bedroom door forcefully behind her.

Making all us groan out in exasperation.

But I have to agree with her wholeheartedly. We have to put an end to this madness. It's time to make Tyson pay!
