Carmine Horiental is just your average hot-tempered teenager. She expects her best friend to ditch her for his girlfriend, her brothers to make her morning as awful as possible, and the bus to pick her late for school. What she does not expect is to get kidnapped out of the blue alongside her friends. It gets even worse when they are being used as guinea pigs for Maverick Incorporated. A game company that does a lot of shady things in the background. Carmine and her friends are introduced to Matrix - the fight for power. They have to survive in this new dicey and scary world.
