Between the Worlds We Knew
"Long ago, there was a group of people who were.... different. These people could control different 'elements' I guess you could say. Because they were different, they were hunted down, and nearly killed.... But, they survived because of one of their members, a young boy of the name Jeremiah. He created a world to escape those who hunted them. However, it came with a terrible price. Jeremiah was unable to escape, causing his unfortunate death. Over the years, the group created a council to separate the people. However, as years passed on, the King of Glacias, King Gideon, tried to take control of the council and rule all of the. With King Zachariah leading them, the entire council managed to defeat King Gideon and banish him and his people to a world unknown to even them. To this day, no one truly knows what happened to all of them."The two children listened to story and giggled at the young boy's father. "Is the story really true Mr. Delacroix?" The young girl asked.The man chuckled and ruffled her hair gently "No.... It's just a story."Both children looked at each other. Neither of them ever forgot the story as they grew older.What they didn't know, is that they would get mixed up with some "characters" in said story.…
